Hotel Cort (Mallorca, Balearic Islands) 23 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"It’s a pretty tempting package: a balmy Mediterranean island, a picturesque, ancient fortified city, and a century-old building transformed into a totally contemporary sixteen-room boutique hotel. But Hotel Cort, in the old city of Palma de Mallorca, is something special, over and above any description of its vital statistics — this place, to put it simply, has real personality, and as far as we’re concerned, that’s what matters." - Tablet Hotels

Wonderfully warm welcome from the lovely lady on reception both when we arrived and checked out. The rest of the reception team was also very helpful and welcoming. The entire team in restaurant were also really lovely when we had drinks and breakfast. ||We had the main suit and it’s set over 3 floors which made it very different interesting and very comfortable. ||The hotel is brilliantly situated in Palma old town and made the perfect base to explore the city. ||It would benefit from some sprucing up in places but it did not detract from it being a great hotel experience.

A great location for visiting the city - friendly and helpful staff, excellent food and tasteful comfortable rooms. More a couples place than for a family with young children. The hourly bell from the Town Hall (?) can be annoying during the night! But would recommend.Had a most enjoyable stay.

Lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Old Town Palma. The staff were so welcoming and friendly throughout our stay and could not have done more to make sure all our needs were catered for. The room was gorgeous with a balcony overlooking the square, comfy beds and a big shower. Breakfast was lovely and the staff engaging and always remembered our drinks order. Would highly recommend, and look forward to hopefully having the opportunity to return.

We enjoyed a week stay at Hotel Cort in July. Great location right in the center of town, the historic city hall is right across the street! Once you get your bearings you realize everything you want to see is within 1 to 15 minute walk. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Do sign up for the daily breakfast, it is made to order and you and enjoy it outside on their patio. Our room, The Placa Suite, was great for our family of three with double doors separating the living room and sofa bed from the main bedroom. The view was excellent (See photo attached). I would stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff are super friendly. The hotel also has a great buzz throughout the day and is a popular spot for tourists. I stayed in the top suite which was great, private lounge, bedroom upstairs with great views and a wonderful private roof top with hot tub which was great to escape the city. Bathroom products were great, would have been better if they had conditioner.

My partner and I cannot say enough great things about Hotel Cort! It is a treasure in which we shall return again and again. Like having a warm, loving, super accommodating family in Palma! The staff is superb!! They were always there to enhance our stay, oversee every possible detail. Gear everything toward us having an invigorating, relaxing, and fulfilling vacation. The rooms are so lovely! My partner kept mentioning they were so thought out and detailed. Lovely amenities. Very ample spaces. The breakfast buffet and all the food, lunch and dinner in the chic and international restaurant was also exquisite! We also loved opening the French doors in our suite overlooking the enchanting placa and taking in the unique essence and spirit of Palma. A huge thank you to everyone at The Cort! Can’t wait to see you again!!

My family and I went to the outdoor restaurant of Hotel Court. We ordered the duck croquettes, parmesan croquettes, potatas bravas, and the club sandwich. All of the food was delicious especially the potato dish. It was perfectly seasoned and a feast for the eyes. My mom loved her melon and tomato salad. She says, “It was perfectly ripe and the feta was standout”. If ever you are hungry in Mallorca and are craving a standout meal, I 100% recommend the Hotel Court.

My partner and I had an unpleasant experience at the hotel restaurant. We weren't allowed in, even though there were free tables. The waiter, a pompous buffoon, insisted that if we only wanted drinks, he'd rather keep a table for four because they'd order food too. I'll just mention that we went to the restaurant next door and received very friendly service. We ordered not only drinks but also dinner, which was incredibly delicious. I suggest the waiter get a new job because this kind of behavior is discouraging customers! Waiter, you have a job thanks to your customers, please remember that!

Yelp
We loved Hotel Cort and wish we had been able to stay for longer than two nights. The design of the hotel is so cute, and we took advantage of the roofdeck with a small plunge pool and lounge chairs - it was the perfect place to escape the mid-day July heat. We had a proper suite (two rooms, with a door in between them) at what I considered a very reasonable price for high season, and we all slept very well. Our room had a French balcony with a lovely view of the square. Service was very warm and accomodating. The hotel includes a 'welcome drink' but we didn't want to drink when we first arrived, since we were sleep-deprived coming off a redeye flight, and they let us have the drinks the following day. Breakfast was great. You can have it in the restaurant or in the little square outside the hotel under the 600 year old olive tree. You order off a menu, but you can order as much as you want. Over the two days we tried a variety of pastries including croissants and chocolate croissants, made to order omelettes, fried eggs and avocado and tomato toast. It was all excellent. I was completely charmed by Palma in general, and Hotel Cort was a big part of that.

Yelp
We like stopping by for a drink outside perhaps some food para picar to take a bit of time to relax and view this plaza with its amazing olive tree. It's a good place to people watch. We have eaten in the more formal restaurant in the past and recommend that too. It's gotten very touristy over the few years since it opened but we tend to go in slightly off hours (less crowded)

Yelp
The sandwiches were good, the coffe tasty and the eggs Benedict quite ok, but leaning toward average. Location is really nice on the placa de cort (we ate in the outdoor square terazza) The staff was really not 4 star level, you have to speak tough spanish style with them and they still come out as rude, sloppy and not service minded. Overall not a 4 star experience but nice location for basic breakfast. (We did not stay at the hotel)

Yelp
This is the second time I had breakfast here and again it was a disapointment. Items arrive over a too long period, the coffee is finshed when the juice arrives and the juice is finished when the sandwich arrives. A meager plate of fresh fruit was horribly overpriced at €6. Breadbasked arrived without butter or jams. Staff is simply not attentive. Such a shame on a nice location....
