Hotel Costa del Sol Wyndham Lima Aeropuerto

Great experience! Checked in at 1am approximately. Room was clean. Excellent staff and safe shuttle service. Breakfast buffet had a good variety. Free pisco sour was another nice touch. Eduardo Chileno helped us with our bags in the morning and was very friendly. If it wasn’t for the distance to the new airport, we’d stay again without hesitation.

This was a clean hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fine, typical hotel buffet. It is important to note that it is NOT walking distance from the Airport any longer. A new terminal was built, so it’s now a 20 - 30 minute drive. They have a free shuttle, but plan accordingly for the drive.

I spent 6 hours in the hotel spa during a layover. It's a 5-star luxury spa with massage, facial, pool, saunas, and a state-of-the art gym services. The hotel is a breezeway walk away from the airport terminal. Heaven!! The staff were professional, and very, very capable. I was floating on the second leg of my trip. Ask for Cinthia. She was wonderful!!

It took us 50 minutes to get on a free shuttle bus and get to the hotel on Saturday night. Very frustrating. On the morning the free shuttle bus was full and it looked like not everyone could get one. Departures times in photo. You cannot walk there. Otherwise the hotel was comfortable, clean, quiet and had good food. But the transfer made it not feel like a quick easy option for airport. On the morning it took us 10mins to get back to airport however we had to sit on the bus for a while beforehand to ensure we got a seat and weren't left behind (despite loading our bags into trailer earlier).

Great hotel. Shuttle bus schedule says it runs every 30 minutes on the hour. Note, the bus does not depart on time. It seems to depart 5 minutes after the stated time. For example, 8:05 instead of 8:00. Why they don't just have the schedule say 8:05 is beyond me. The website says the pool is heated. However, this is false. The placard in the room clearly says the pool is not heated and I can confirm that the water in the pool is in fact cold. That said, they do have a jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room.

We booked this hotel due to the proximity to the airport and a previous reviewer stating that they could walk from the airport to the hotel. Note that this walkway no longer exists. A shuttle was arranged which supposedly runs every half an hour. We waited for 40 minutes and the shuttle took 45 minutes to arrive to the hotel due to the traffic. This alone ruined the experience for us. Make sure to plan for extra time or splurge for the 5-star hotel across the street from the airport with nearly the same name. Hotel is located next to the old, now abandoned airport. Rooms are very nice and clean, staff is attentive, restaurant food and service are phenomenal. We requested a bagged breakfast for an early morning flight which was a nice touch. Do not venture outside of the hotel if you are a tourist, there is security for a reason.

Now the new terminal has opened this hotel is no longer walkable to the main terminal but there is a free shuttle bus that runs every 30 minutes 24/7. What makes this hotel for me is the service! The staff are extremely attentive. Dayana on reception was fantastic, helping select a room with a view of the airport. The restaurant staff were also extremely helpful. Airport hotels can be quite impersonal, but both my stays here have been great!

This is not the hotel you want to stay at if you are looking for the hotel close to the airport. The Costa Del Sol Grand is what you are looking for. Lima built a new airport and this place is now super far away from the new terminal. Additionally, they still charge prices as though they are right next to the airport. $66 for laundry for 12 articles of clothing…that would cover the cost of my laundry for half a year in US! And here I was thinking Peru was supposed to be affordable. These people can’t be charging the rates they do for being a 30 minute shuttle ride from the airport. Certainly won’t ever stop over here again. The Grand is probably worth the higher prices due to it now being the closest hotel to the new terminal airport. Don’t stay here!!!!
