Hotel Costa del Sol Wyndham Lima Aeropuerto

I was stranded at the airport and had to stay somewhere. I found this hotel online and I have only good things to say about it. Every person I came in contact with was class act, very professional. The food was delicious, the breakfast buffet was excellent , lots to choose from. The room was perfect and very clean. The shuttle service was great and the drivers were very professional. People whining about the shuttle being late, welcome to Lima at night, yes they may be backed up a few minutes due to traffic. You’d be in the same situation if you were in a taxi or your own vehicle. I’d go back to this hotel in a heart beat…Thank You , you’re all appreciated here.

Great experience! Checked in at 1am approximately. Room was clean. Excellent staff and safe shuttle service. Breakfast buffet had a good variety. Free pisco sour was another nice touch. Eduardo Chileno helped us with our bags in the morning and was very friendly. If it wasn’t for the distance to the new airport, we’d stay again without hesitation.

Our international flight landed at the airport at 11pm, and our flight next day is 7:30am. We ended up getting only 2 hours sleep. Custom was 1 hour wait, shuttle was 30min wait and checkin was 40min wait. I don’t think it’s worth it. Next time I’ll just do the airport sleepover. These are just suggestions, not any fault of the hotel. Staff and service is fine. Breakfast is very simple. Room is not clean.

This is a nice hotel stay. There is really only one drawback and that's the location. It used to be connected to the airport but with the new airport you need to take a shuttle which can be slow when you are tired trying to get to sleep. It's also gated and not in a walkable area, so I wouldn't recommend for over a night or 2. The included breakfast is awesome!

I spent 6 hours in the hotel spa during a layover. It's a 5-star luxury spa with massage, facial, pool, saunas, and a state-of-the art gym services. The hotel is a breezeway walk away from the airport terminal. Heaven!! The staff were professional, and very, very capable. I was floating on the second leg of my trip. Ask for Cinthia. She was wonderful!!

We booked this hotel due to the proximity to the airport and a previous reviewer stating that they could walk from the airport to the hotel. Note that this walkway no longer exists. A shuttle was arranged which supposedly runs every half an hour. We waited for 40 minutes and the shuttle took 45 minutes to arrive to the hotel due to the traffic. This alone ruined the experience for us. Make sure to plan for extra time or splurge for the 5-star hotel across the street from the airport with nearly the same name. Hotel is located next to the old, now abandoned airport. Rooms are very nice and clean, staff is attentive, restaurant food and service are phenomenal. We requested a bagged breakfast for an early morning flight which was a nice touch. Do not venture outside of the hotel if you are a tourist, there is security for a reason.

Now the new terminal has opened this hotel is no longer walkable to the main terminal but there is a free shuttle bus that runs every 30 minutes 24/7. What makes this hotel for me is the service! The staff are extremely attentive. Dayana on reception was fantastic, helping select a room with a view of the airport. The restaurant staff were also extremely helpful. Airport hotels can be quite impersonal, but both my stays here have been great!

This is not the hotel you want to stay at if you are looking for the hotel close to the airport. The Costa Del Sol Grand is what you are looking for. Lima built a new airport and this place is now super far away from the new terminal. Additionally, they still charge prices as though they are right next to the airport. $66 for laundry for 12 articles of clothing…that would cover the cost of my laundry for half a year in US! And here I was thinking Peru was supposed to be affordable. These people can’t be charging the rates they do for being a 30 minute shuttle ride from the airport. Certainly won’t ever stop over here again. The Grand is probably worth the higher prices due to it now being the closest hotel to the new terminal airport. Don’t stay here!!!!
