We absolutely loved our stay here! We are a family with a 6 and 11 year old. We rented a car and could drive or walk wherever we wanted, but the property offered to drive us anywhere on site if we needed, which is nice for those who take a private transport from San Jose. There are several onsite restaurants, which will also deliver to the room too. The food was delicious and views and atmosphere at each one was great with speedy service. My daughter loved walking across the street every morning to el baguette for delicious coffee and fresh pastries. ||We booked through vrbo so I could pick my room. The views from A19 were phenomenal, and we had monkeys visit everyday! We saw so much wildlife on site, just as much as in the rainforest. I disagree with the “dated” comments about the property. You don’t go to the middle of the rainforest for upscale, luxury, and modern. The property takes great care to preserve the beauty and nature of their environment, and I appreciated that about it. I loved the fully stocked kitchen to be able to prepare meals and snacks for my kids when we were too tired to go out to eat or just needed something quick.

This was an amazing place to stay! The views are breathtaking! We stayed in the 737 plane, which was perfect for our family of 5! The proximity to Manuel Antonio National Park and beaches could not be better! The pools were perfect, and the adult only pool was perfect! Everywhere you are in this hotel, you are surrounded by wildlife. Multiple times per day, we saw monkeys playing in the trees, macaws, sloths, and so many others! The staff here is phenomenal! Everyone is extremely friendly, helpful, and courteous. They knew our names and we were only here for 4 days. The hotel is extremely clean and well-kept. All of the on-site restaurants were phenomenal! We also have some allergies in our family, and all of the restaurants accommodated them beautifully! The Anaconda is a perfect breakfast spot! We can’t say enough good things about Costa Verde!

Stayed here for 5 nights in A-15 bungalow with 3 teenagers and spouse. The bungalow was at top of the resort and walkable to 3-4 restaurants across the road. The hotel is extremely hilly so we would walk down to the closest pool and then walk down to reception to get a drive back up to our bungalow. You can call front desk for the shuttle (which is basically a 4x4 jeep) and it would show up within few mins. The resort was not crowded at all so the pool and breakfast was easy. Breakfast was included and you ordered off a menu and it was quickly made. We liked our bungalow (lot of space to spread out, deck to sit on and kitchen if you wanted to cook. The beach was pretty far away and you had to walk it on your own so we skipped going. The views from a breakfast area were very nice. In green season it was low crowds so easy to get shuttle or help. Had a great time here.

Comfortable hotel spread out over a large area, with different zones. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and cool with AC. Lots of steep slopes or steps which require some mobility to navigate! Shuttle service available around hotel to different restaurants. Good food selection with moderate-high prices. Loads of wildlife in the grounds with capuchin and howler monkeys visiting our balcony, squirrel monkeys, agouti, squirrels, iguanas, anoles, geckos and raccoons regularly seen in the grounds as are sloths. We watched a three-toed sloth at eye level from 5m at the adult only pool! Lots of close birdlife in the grounds and visible from the height of the hotel, including toucans and aracaris. 2km from entrance to MANP. 15min walk to the excellent local beach which has all of the above wildlife also. Hill is hard on the return journey! Great views of the bay and into MANP. Would highly recommend as a hotel for easy and diverse wildlife watching but not luxurious or for the immobile.

We stayed in the Sky Loft. This was my impression: lots of space, four queen-sized beds divided into two connecting bedrooms, two open-air bathrooms (loved this), kitchenette with dishes, incredible balcony at end of plane with a view of ocean and jungle (absolutely stunning, spent several hours sitting there listening to the jungle and ocean waves), perfect location (next to breakfast area, short distance to restaurant, short distance to office, short distance to kids and adults-only pools), 10-15 minutes walk to beach down/up very steep hill, furniture was worn but not a problem, more outlets than you could ever need, huge side balcony with dining table for 8-10 people plus three benches and coffee table. Because it's adjacent to breakfast area, we got a troop of about 10 white-faced monkeys hanging out on our deck for a few hours. Needless to say this was the biggest thrill of the entire trip. AMAZING! The food is decent but nothing to write home about. The resort only gives you one towel per person. You can't get more. In order to get a clean or dry towel, you need to exchange it in the office. There were no hand towels. We found this rather cheap given that you are spending a lot of money, but whatever. Overall we were very happy with our experience and would do it again.

Our stay here was truly amazing. Fantastic views, great service and food. We got shuttle to a nearby Restaurant that was part airplane. Monkeys watched us eat our breakfast and iguanas sunned on the paths and near the pool too, The beach was a short walk down the hill and was not crowded at all. The water was warm and we bobbed in the shallow waves.

We had an amazing stay, 2 adults and a 14 yr old. The balcony was huge with amazing views of the ocean and wildlife including toucans, macaws, green parrots, motmots. Monkeys came to visit each day. Restaurants within walking distance. Only a few minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park. Comfortable beds, cold AC, and full sized fridge.

The most amazing experience at this resort. We saw tons of Cappuccino monkeys and toucan bird right from our patio. Food was delicious. Staff very polite and professional. I definitely recommend visiting this place with the beautiful sights throughout.
