Hotel Costa Verde

This was our first time in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 and the accommodations have enhanced the experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were exemplary of a high end resort. We were a two minute bus ride from the beach at the start of Manual Antonio National Park. I would recommend a stay here.

The staff were AMAZING! They recognized us and always asked about our days and us. They are definitely part of the resort. The grounds and pools are the best I’ve ever seen. The view and natural lights from the rooms are magical! Everything was clean!

We had a room with jungle and ocean views from our t’arrive with 4 rocking chairs! The hotel boasts many pools and restaurants, all very good! We all loved our time there! We even had a mischievous monkey jump on our table and steal a pancake (and the staff swiftly proposed to replace it with a fresh new one!)

Loved this hotel and everything about it. We were lucky enough to stay here for 5 nights. The rooms are super spacious and you can upgrade to sea view ( which we did) . We saw lots of animals on the property and the decor/ design of this hotel makes it feel like you really are at one with nature. We also are at the hotel restaurants most nights and again we were not disappointed although we wished there was more traditional Costa Rica food on offer as we love it so much. All staff were phenomenal during our stay, polite, friendly and always willing to assist in any way they could. Few points to note: - hotel is on a hill so naturally you have to walk down to get to the beach - decor is traditional rather than modern ( saw few negative reviews about that which is baffling as you clearly see that when you book). - the restaurants ( apart from breakfast and lunch caffee) are outside on the main road, again short walking distance - there is an adult only pool which is located in the same place as the outdoor bar The above are NOT negatives just points others may find useful rather than leaving a negative review.

We stayed in bungalow E5 and it had an incredible view and was a wonderful place for my family to sleep and hangout. However, I will say it's at the bottom of a large hill, which if you have any mobility challenges would be tricky. They offer transportation around the property but it does take some time for them to arrive. We mainly just walked everywhere. The plus side of just walking everywhere is we saw sloths, iguanas, monkeys and agoutis on the property.

We stayed 2 nights in the 727 plane. This was a great experience and one of the most memorable places we have ever stayed. The views were amazing. The atmosphere inside the plane was exciting and the staff of Costa Verde were on point. Overall, their whole property is a great place to stay with good dining and great customer service and a clean and safe property.

Hotel Costa Verde was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The property itself is absolutely stunning—nestled in the jungle with breathtaking ocean views, wildlife all around, and such a peaceful atmosphere. Every morning we woke up to monkeys, toucans, and the sounds of nature, which made the trip feel magical. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The pool areas were beautiful and relaxing, and the on-site restaurants offered delicious meals with plenty of variety. I also loved how conveniently located the hotel was to Manuel Antonio National Park and the beach—it gave us the best of both worlds: adventure and relaxation. Overall, our stay at Hotel Costa Verde exceeded expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a mix of nature, comfort, and Costa Rican charm, this is the perfect place. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Costa Rica.

You cannot beat the views and the convenience that this hotel offers to its guests. Even from our relatively humble room in the sprawling property, our view of the beach was spectacular. The food at all the hotel restaurant properties was great (Anaconda Cafe for breakfast, El Wagon for pizza, El Avión for nice dinners). The staff was very kind and accomodating, and the complimentary shuttle service to on site properties was a great perk that made traveling to restaurants a breeze. And yes, the place is teeming with monkeys and other wildlife. Other than having to guard your breakfast like a hawk - the monkeys are BRILLIANT thieves - they are a fun part of staying here. We loved it here, and are happy to recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Manuel Antonio.
