Hotel Costasol

Just had a two night stay in this lovely city centre hotel. Okay so there are currently road renovations directly outside which does create some noise but there is nothing the hotel can do about this. The reception staff were absolutely brilliant, friendly and helpful and spoke some English. Our room was lovely and a great bathroom, exceptionally clean. We did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on that. The hotel is in the modern centre but easy walking distance to the old town and fantastic seafront promenade. No parking at the hotel but they have an arrangement with local public parking and offer discounted parking which is only a 70 metre walk away. Excellent hotel and can personally highly recommend it.

I had a pleasing stay at hotel Costasol. My room was decent and large enough. The only thing for that could be better is the breakfast. I was hoping for larger options and fresh things as well. I believe hotel costasol has a lot of potential if they get rid of the kitch style and modernise some elements in the rooms and the lobby. I give this hotel a 4 stars because of the kind sir in the lobby that speaks French.

Great little place in a great location. Rooms are simple but clean with everything you need for a short stay . Beds were comfortable. Great solarium on roof . A real Oasis in the middle of the city. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only complaint. The Satellite Tv wasn’t connected so didn’t work . Didn’t even have Spanish TV. It was just a blank screen.

Stayed 3 nights in the Hotel Costasol while on a recent trip to the area and very pleased with the hotel, it's in a great location, the hotel is clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.||Booked a superior room as it had a balcony which was nice and also it was bigger than the standard double so it was great to have the extra space. The bed was very comfortable, the electronic shutters meant your room was totally dark at night and in the morning sun. Although the hotel is on a busy street, I did not hear any noise .||The bathroom was a good size too with a lovely long tub so great to have a soak after a long day in the sun and sightseeing. There is plenty of wardrobe space and lots of hangers too !||Breakfast was included in my rate and it was perfectly satisfactory. Everything is cold but of good quality. Choice of cold meats, avocado, mozzarella, other cheeses and tomato. There was also bread to toast and assorted rolls and pastries too as well as fruit, yogurt and cereal. The orange juice was especially nice and fresh tasting.||The roof terrace was a great space to have your own drink or just relax on one of the chairs in the sun or in the shaded space. There is a Carrefour Market just up the street so you can buy a few beers or a bottle of wine to chill in your fridge as the hotel does not have a bar. There was a kettle to make tea or coffee which was a nice touch. The AC worked very well which was needed as did the wifi. ||There was parking available on nearby streets, free after 14.00 on a Saturday and free all day Sunday , Monday to Friday it was around €2 for 3 hours. Almeria is a nice little city and the hotel is in a great location to explore the castle and visit nearby restaurants and sights. PS the tourist train is only €4 and runs from Plaza de Emilio Pérez at the end of the street , have fun !

Excellent hotel, staff, host (Augustin), restaurant breakfast (mornings only). Ladies were super nice. AC in bedrooms, small safe and small fridge also. Excellent 👍 Located in walking distance to nearly everything. Costa De Almeria is just a 5 minutes walk through Rambla De Almeria Highly recommended 👍

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay in this lovely hotel. The location is perfect, close to the beach and many bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful ,the standard of cleanliness was excellent. We would like to have been able to get English subtitles on the TV.

Have stayed here a few times in the past. Excellent staff, excellent rooms, good and clean, excellent location in the middle of Almeria.

Great Hotel in the middle of Almería, staff were courteous charming and helpful. Rooms were just what you needed to start exploring the city and the rooftop Solarium has a lovely view. I will definitely be going here again.
