Stayed for two nights with my girlfriend and have to say that we enjoyed this hotel a lot. Location is spot on (you have to check out 'De Bastei' next door, it's absolutely amazing), breakfast was really good, Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We got called the moment our room was ready (way before check in time), got offered a new room due to a broken AC also via call without us having to ask for anything, which I highly appreciate. Both rooms were clean and had an amazing view. It's not the fanciest of places but for us it was the perfect hotel for our stay. Some of the reviews here paint a picture that I cannot confirm from our experience. Overall recommended if you want to explore the city from a central point that is still quiet enough to have laid back evenings and calm mornings before exploring the beautiful city of Nijmegen.

Comfortable and clean hotel close to bridge and historic centre. Breakfast generous and free.parking was an issue as have a 2.1m van ,but we can recommend parkeer garage kaiser Karel €16 for 24 hours . 20 mins walk away . Was a beautiful evening and stayed eating out and enjoying the city centre .

Very clean, good breakfast but a little small (there were no scrambled eggs or bacon), there was a great view by the water, nice place in nice surroundings. The elevator didn't work, but it was cozy. The rooms were clean and had tea/coffee etc.

Very bad expérience. My room was with cobwebs and my bathroom filled with mold. I changed 3 rooms but it was all even worst. Thé was a Big plate of Fried chicken in thé last room i was offered. After i complaint to Martjin the manager ,he agreed to refund my stay. A month later he wrote and said he wasn't going to pay back . I find it very hard to believe a manager of a hotel will write emails of such bad maners. Run away from this hotel and incase you happen to be in thésame situatiin do not leave there without any prove of your refund. If you booked through an agency call them directly and report thé incident immédiately.

Great location at the river and in the center. Nice river view from small but comfortable rooms. The hotel is a former warehouse with lots of old details that add to the nice atmosphere. The whole building but also the breakfast and level of service represent the love of the host for his guests. Every hotel would wish such a great host.

I am happy to share that my recent guests, who were DJ's, had a great experience staying at this hotel! Not only did they love the breathtaking river view, but they also gave me fantastic feedback. The breakfast was a hit and the check-in process was made smooth and welcoming by the friendly staff at the reception. Additionally, the hotel staff's proficiency in multiple languages was a huge plus for our international guests, making them feel right at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for everyone involved.

My stay was a very horrible expérience, i will not wish to any one. My room was dirty (dusty)with spiders and cobwebs. The bathroom was covered with mold. Even After i was relocated 3times . The last room was even worst i found Fried chicken in my room. I then décidéd to talk directly with the Matjin the manager .He was very sorry and agreed to refund my money. It has been a month now no refund was made. I even called him after obtaining his number from Booking he said it was a private number. I have pictures and emails . I find it hard to believe After all i went through in this hotel, they have the courage not to refund my money. Just imagine being in a hotel room strongly smelling chlore ! I had to relocate my 5 years old. The damage was too much for me to just let you go . Please feel free to contact me if you need pictures

This is a perfect hotel if you're doing stuff in- and around Nijmegen. There's not much to do in the hotel but thats what the city is for. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I had room 71 with an excellent view of Valkhof park. Breakfast was more than fine too.
