Hotel Cristina Sorrento

We loved the Cristina! The room was great and super clean with really large comfortable beds and a stunning view across the bay of Naples from the balcony. The food is really good from the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel, to lovely dinners on the romantic terrace. A Shuttle bus takes you to the centre of Sorrento in 10 mins, hourly. The pool has amazing views across the bay and the mountains and countryside. However, the best thing about this hotel though are the staff! They are so kind and helpful and super friendly, from reception to pool bar ( special mention to Antonella and Francisco who were a delight!). Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

⸻ Wonderful Stay at Hotel Cristina – Stunning Views & Excellent Service I recently stayed at Hotel Cristina in Sorrento for four nights with five friends, and overall, we had a fantastic experience. I booked directly with the hotel, and everything was managed seamlessly from start to finish. I was extremely happy with the level of service. We had two beautiful rooms with balconies overlooking the sea – the views were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. While the rooms themselves were a bit small, this seems common across many Italian hotels. There was a slight muggy smell initially in our room, but this was quickly resolved by keeping the balcony doors open and letting the fresh air in. The beds and pillows were on the firmer side, and personally, I would have preferred something softer for more comfort. That said, the rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean, with daily changes of bedding, fresh towels, and even pool towels, which was greatly appreciated. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay – from reception to the breakfast and dinner service, everyone was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Breakfast, which was included, offered a lovely variety of hot and cold options, plus fresh coffee each morning. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel, which was not only delicious but came with an incredible view overlooking Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The terraces and pool area were excellent – a great place to relax during the day. It was a special trip to celebrate my 40th birthday, and the hotel made it extra memorable by decorating the room with balloons and leaving a complimentary bottle of bubbles – such a thoughtful gesture. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus that runs frequently between the hotel and Sorrento’s main bus station, which is a very convenient central point for reaching the town, beach, and port. There’s also fresh drinking water available in reception, and overall, the hotel felt very safe and comfortable. I would definitely recommend Hotel Cristina to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with stunning views and warm hospitality in Sorrento.

This hotel is simply amazing! Perfect location and perfect view. The hotel has a complementary bus service that takes you straight into sorrento town where the train station is, which is so helpful! ||The hotel is small enough that the staff get to know and recognise you. The staff at meal times were some of the best I've ever received, they are so attentive and friendly, Antonella and Francesco in particular. The complementary breakfast has a good selection of buffet including hot food, cold food and sweet treats. The lunch and dinner isn't included but I would highly recommend as it is really good food just on your doorstep, served by the lovely staff I mentioned earlier! ||The bedrooms are a good size with a comfy bed and also a good air-con. We were on floor 5 and balcony size is bigger than most hotels and overlooks the most beautiful view. The rooms are cleaned daily and also turned down at nighttime occasionally. ||One of the best hotels I've stayed in will definitely be back!

We stayed at Hotel Cristina for 3 nights but I wish it had of been a week! It is truly a beautiful hotel but the staff makes it so special. I can't say enough good things about the staff. The beds are comfortable and our room was cleaned each day. It was a shuttle into the main part of town. The view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was delicious with so much to chose from. If we come back to Sorrento, we will stay here again. Special shout out to outstanding staff Chiara at the front desk and Francesco that made our stay special.

Hotel Cristina staff answered every question I had and they made our stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. They are superb!!The view from the hotel was breathtaking. The rooms and hotel is very clean and well taken care of. The restaurant staff are some of the best when it comes to customer service and friendly attitude. The restaurant and breakfast buffet are spectacular. The shuttle was extremely helpful and made our stay easier to get into town and get back with no issues. We would recommend this hotel to anyone! Book early. We hope to visit here again. 10/10

The hotel was lovely and very comfortable. My niece and I had plenty of room - we had a first floor room. The view was incredible. If we had not been busy every day I could see myself enjoying the balcony all day long. Breakfast buffet had a nice selection with very good service. As a tour group we had some private transit up and down but frequently took the shuttle down to our vans.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room had a beautiful view of the sea and Mount Vesuvius in the distance, truly breathtaking! The rooms have everything you need, and are comfortable with modern fittings in the bathroom. It is far from the city centre however this makes the hotel more charming in my opinion, and they have a complimentary shuttle service which runs frequently from the hotel to the city centre. All the staff were lovely and helpful, which was great. The breakfast could possibly have more hot savoury items, as there are lots of cakes/sweets, however it is still a good offering. Thank you for our wonderful stay! Update: We gad to leave at 4am for a flight and they provided us with a packed breakfast which I thought was a really lovely touch. Very kind!
