Decent hotel, good food — but beware of rude staff!
I recently stayed at this hotel and while the overall property was good — clean rooms, tasty food, and a convenient location near the railway station — my experience was completely ruined by the behaviour of one of the day staff members.
A particular lady at the front desk was extremely rude and resentful throughout my stay. Basic courtesies and politeness were missing. Even simple things like asking for a cup or were met with sarcastic comments and visible resentment. We were taken aback with the treatment. It felt like guests were an inconvenience to her.
It’s really disappointing because the hotel itself is nice and the rest of the team seemed decent, but one unpleasant person can ruin the vibe of an entire stay. This hotel is expensive, also charges deposit money as a bomb, we expected basic courtesy.
A hotel’s biggest asset is its staff — no matter how good the food or location is, disrespectful behaviour kills the experience.
Good food and location can’t make up for unprofessional behaviour. I hope they fix this soon — otherwise, it’s just not worth the money or the stress. Management seriously needs to train their staff in hospitality basics. Think twice before booking — you deserve better service for what you pay!
