Hotel Crystal

The Hotel Crystal in Interlaken was a hidden gem that rose much higher than 3.9 on reviews. It is a short walk from the West Train Station. Staff was very courteous and helpful, room and facilities were very clean, and breakfast was great. We had a balcony room with a tremendous view of the mountains and the rooftop terrace offered fantastic views. Overall the experience was 5 star and we will definitely be back.

Hotel is surely above the 3.9 as shown in the reviews. We had a wonderful stay here and it's perfect if you are looking for a place with great connectivity. There are many restaurants and shops nearby + the interlaken west bus and railway stations are 5 min away by walk. The breakfast is also nice with some variety. The best part of the stay- The kind and helpful staff who always make you feel comfortable. Highly recommend if you are looking for a stay that is comfortable with all basic facilities. Since the building itself is old there might be some constraints but I believe they do not hide this stuff and promise anything beyond what they are really about.

Gorgeous little hotel, staff on reception are so friendly and helpful. Room was huge for the money and a lovely little balcony. It’s right next to main station and they give you a guest card to use public transport for free in Interlaken.

Great place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large clean rooms with very comfortable blankets and pillows. Easy walking distance from Interlaken West train station. They allowed us to keepnluggage there as arrived early, which is so nice. The breakfast staff are the sweetest! The breakfast is amazing and fills you up for the day! With everything so expensive, it is nice to have such a great way to start the day! The cappuccino was amazing!!

This is a basic traveller's hotel, somewhere to put your head. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious enough. It's looking a little tired inside tho and could use some modernising but all in all it's OK. The God send for us visiting during a heat wave was the air con - a life saver, especially during sleepy time! Noise from neighbouring rooms can be an issue.

From the moment we arrived, the staff at Hotel Crystal made us feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is clean, secure, and perfectly located for exploring the beautiful mountain surroundings. Our room was spotless, and we felt completely at ease during our entire stay. The real highlight, however, was the breakfast experience! The spread was absolutely fantastic—fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start your day with a positive mindset before heading out on your mountain adventures. The breakfast staff were especially warm and attentive, making each morning feel extra special. Highly recommend Hotel Crystal for anyone visiting Interlaken. We’ll definitely be back!

Pleasant stay. Accommodation was basic - expected for a 3*. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Especially the server for making me great cappuccinos every morning! Breakfast was ok. Not far from the main shopping street and next to a huge Migros which was handy. The only downsides were the room was very hot at night and noise travelled easily through the walls. I'd recommend as a budget option.

Fantastic accomodation - great location - super friendly & helpful staff. |Upon arrival I wondered what I had booked, whilst very close to Interlaken West train it seemed a long way from anything else & isolated. I was so wrong, it is conveniently located an easy & flat 10min walk from Interlaken. |The staff cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable, the receptionist lent as power adapters as I had forgotten that Switzerland had different plugs to any we carry. Beatta (apologies if the spelling is wrong) who was working in breakfast room was amazing & so helpful & obliging. When I asked if they happened to have any gluten free cereals for our adult GF daughter she went out of her way to help. She found her GF bread. Then i happened to mention it was also our daughter’s birthday the kitchen improvised a cake of fruit with candles on it for her. The following morning she also greeted us like long lost friends at breakfast asking about our previous day & had bread already prepared for our daughter. |Such a pleasant stay.
