Hôtel Crystal

Location just couldn't be better. And the amenities included - free public transport and daily Swiss breakfast - are incredibly helpful. The reception staff is also super warm and very helpful. They gave me a charging pin for Switzerland and kept my luggage for a few hours. They helped me enjoy my stay to the fullest.

The location was great. The room was very basic and the bathroom was very outdated. The breakfast was okay. Not a lot of choices but the apple juice was amazing. The receptionists were helpful. For the price it could have been better but everything is expensive is Switzerland.

Small rooms, fits max 3 beds or double bed with one baby bed. great location in the city center. Too crowded during night because of night life around the hotel, so better take upper floors rooms. in summary, it is tiny, a bit expensive, but has a great location and it is super clean.

Rooms are ok, beds are nice, and the view from the top floor balconies is beautiful !There is a problem though: the church bells. Spent a night at this hotel on a hot summer day. It was very warm in the room (no AC or fans) and impossible to sleep with closed windows. During my sleepless night I counted five different churches ringing their bells at every full hour, though with some seconds difference in when they started ringing. Some of the church bells also rang at quarter and half an hour. And Sunday morning there was a full on loud bell concert to call for the Sunday mass.....you were warned.

Perfect location, a 2 minute walk to the metro and trains, and only minutes from the Lake (Ouchy) by metro. You have a breathtaking view for breakfast on the terrace over looking the city with the mountains. The breakfast also includes all local foods so you are really getting the authentic Swiss food which you won’t get at any other place. The staff goes the extra distance and makes you feel like you are staying with family. The beds are comfy and you can go to sleep knowing you are in a safe place. You can tell this hotel is ran with a passion for hospitality. When you are planning a trip to Lausanne you don’t want to miss out on Hotel Crystal!

Great value and well located near the town centre. Staff were helpful. Room was clean and got water in the shower was almost instant. Mini fridge in room. Rooms look like their pictures in the listing. Comfortable and generous sized bed. Rest of room was well laid out but not a lot of space.

Super great location. Provided all public transportation tickets. The young guy gave us very clear directions and provided useful info around the area. Room is bit small but is ok for us.

The room was fine. Breakfast was fine. View from the terrace was great. The noise from the club across the street was absolutely unacceptable. Thursday: music blaring and people screaming until midnight. Saturday: it’s 12:30 and the music is still blasting and people shouting, and I’ve got a flight to catch in the morning. The owners need to figure out what to do about that!

Amazing hotel. The staff are so friendly, the food is wonderful, and the rooms are unique and comfortable. Highly recommend!

I had a lovely experience staying here. The woman at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming, and even let me check in 8 hours early! My room was very spacious and clean, and had a nice big bathtub. Bed was very comfortable as well. The location is excellent-steps from the best bars in Lausanne, the metro, cathedral, Le Metropole, shopping, grocery store, etc. Free breakfast included fresh squeezed orange juice, and a variety of nice fruits and breads. Excellent value, especially for Switzerland. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Lausanne.
