Hotel Cubo

Hotel is in a great location and we were able to walk to all of the main sights and restaurants. Excellent customer service from the front desk - the woman who received us at the hotel was welcoming, warm and very helpful. She took time to help us with sight and dinner recommendations. She genuinely seemed interested in making sure we had a great time at the hotel and in the city. ||There is parking for a few vehicles in the front of the hotel or they offer a valet service if they are out of spots for 19 euros a day. We stayed in a junior suite and it was very spacious corner suite. The cost for the third person was 25 euros and it included breakfast. The breakfast was excellent and a highlight! You can order anything you want off the menu and the options were delicious. The menu had a sophisticated twist on traditional breakfast favorites and all of our meals were excellent. We slept well and the hotel was quiet in the evening (along with blackout shades in the room).

A small hotel with real attention to detail. We were given recommendations for restaurants and more importantly for us a wine bar. The main reason to be in Slovenia was to taste local wines. The hotel staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was unusual- not the inevitable buffet but a wide selection of dishes most of which are not offered in hotels, like shakshuka. We loved staying here

What an experience - from the check in by such friendly staff, to a lovely comfortable room, good wi fi, then such a superb choice from the breakfast menu. It didnt stop there, the staff at the front desk were really helpful on all fronts - what was happening locally, to places to go, how to get there, and just general friendliness. A real pleasure to stay there, wish we could have stayed longer!

Superb hotel. Great initiatives like no room key (enter with QR code on phone), free mini bar, free smartphone with data, free bikes. Friendly helpful staff. Amazing a la carte breakfast included. Altogether a wonderful experience for two nights. Shower and air con were difficult to use, otherwise would have given 5 stars.

This hotel is a fantastic modern hotel. While we waited for our room keys which are sent via a QR code to our phone, we were treated to a welcome drink of our choice. My wife had an ice tea and i had a cappuccino. The rooms are spacious and clean with modern amenities. The breakfast was fantastic as it is served on your table from a vast selection menu. It is on a quite street in the heart of the city.

What a wonderful find for the first nights of my Very Best of Slovenia and Croatia tour. Charming staff, gourmet freshly cooked to order breakfast (try the shakshuka!), great cocktails in the lobby bar, and quiet, clean, spacious rooms with good air conditioning. The best location for access to the old town/castle/restaurants. All of my guests loved this hotel!

Exceeded ALL expectations. From arriving and the start taking the car keys, parking the car, taking our luggage to our room whilst we were sat down with a welcome drink, complementary, and taken through where to visit, where we could eat etc. In our room a complimentary smart phone, charged for our use in the town so we didn't use our plans. A complimentary mini bar!!! The location was perfect for the old town and wandering along the river. The staff also exceeded expectations in ever way. Would most definitely return and recommend it to anyone. Oh, breakfast, amazing!!!

The first thing that stood out was the welcome we received at this lovely boutique hotel. We felt extremely well looked after at all times. Breakfast, which was included, was a wonderful start to the day. The hotel is a short walk into the old town. We would happily stay there again if we return to Ljubljana.
