Hotel Cubo

Perfect! The staff members were SUPER friendly. They went above and beyond to help with everything from parking our car to providing suggestions for our trip. The location is perfect and VERY quiet despite being steps away from the beautiful old town. Free breakfast is great. I highly recommend this place! Everybody was so nice!! Also, our room was huge.

While the hotel is not located directly in the very center, it is still within easy walking distance of all the major attractions in Ljubljana. Upon arrival, the check-in procedure was very swift, and the staff were polite and helpful, explaining all the details of our stay and providing us with useful tips for getting around the city. The room we stayed in was beautiful and very spacious, featuring a comfortable seating area and a huge round bed perfectly situated at the far end of the room. The next morning we enjoyed a generous breakfast with a wide selection of snacks and fresh dishes. You can choose from an extensive list of sweet and savory options, all freshly prepared on the spot. Check-out was also quick and completed within seconds. One small point to consider: the windows in the room are not fully soundproof, and the hotel is located on a busy street.

What a great hotel, modern and perfectly situated to explore this fabulous city.||Our room was lovely, large with the comfiest bed, quality linens and perfect pillows. We had a large desk area, more than ample storage, a very generous sized bathroom, a free mini bar and smartphone that you could take out with you which enabled you to contact the hotel should you need to.||The breakfasts were amazing, so much choice and perfectly cooked, the Eggs Benedict and caprese omelette were delicious.||All the team were delightful, so very friendly and helpful, genuinely nothing was too much trouble.||We had a wonderful stay and can’t recommend this fabulous hotel highly enough

Stayed here twice in September 2025. The staff is consistently excellent - attentive, friendly, professional. The location is great, but there is quite a bit of street noise. Carpet in the rooms could use an update. Who thought a glass wall between the bath and sleeping areas was a good idea? Breakfast is good.

I was amazed with the service at this hotel. When we checked in they offered to move the car into the garage. The room was equipped with a cell phone you could take with you that had directions to all the things you'd want to see. It made sightseeing in Ljublijana so easy (much easier than pronouncing its name!). They gave us restaurant suggestions, whatever was needed. And the room was great! Well appointed and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Even the key to the room was sent to your cell phone. It is also in a good location near the old town, river and all the restaurants. Loved this place!

From the greeting on arrival to departure, this was an excellent stay.|The hotel is in an old building but inside is all clean, modern and swish. |The room we had had a huge bed but still plenty of room for luggage etc and the bathroom had an excellent shower. Everything was spotless|There is a free mini bar with beers, soft drinks and snacks. There is a small room service menu which we didn't use but looked decent and reasonably priced.|The a la carte breakfast was outstanding every day, delicious and presented like they are going for a Michelin star. All the staff were excellent but special mention to the 2 waitresses who served us and were efficient, friendly and a credit to Cubo|Easy walking to the Old Town from Cubo, but easy to get out of the city if you have a car|Would not hesitate to recommend this excellent hotel

We stayed here for four nights in June-July and it was great. The rooms and bathrooms are large. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is rather amazing, you order from a menu instead of a buffet. It's all excellent.
