Hotel Cuéntame La Puebla

This hotel offers many highlights that made our stay enjoyable: the bathroom was excellent, featuring a fantastic shower and modern design. The room layout was clever and comfortable, with a very cozy bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The location is ideal, close to everything in Burgos, and the staff was extremely attentive and courteous – they really made an effort to help with anything we needed. However, there were a few issues that affected the overall experience: One window couldn’t be properly closed, and since the room was on the first floor with a flat roof outside, this raised some safety concerns. The air conditioning wasn’t working, and we were provided with a tower fan instead, which was not ideal on warm days. The view overlooked a dirty backyard, which wasn’t very appealing – though it wasn’t a major issue, as we spent most of our time exploring Burgos. Conclusion: A well-located and comfortable hotel with great amenities and excellent service. A few technical issues detracted slightly from the stay, but overall it’s a solid choice for a city trip to Burgos.

We ended up here when it seemed every other hotel in town was booked. The hotel is on a small street, wonderful location in the city center. No parking but covered lots nearby. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious with a little sitting area. Everything was clean enough. Bed comfortable. Floor boards are loose and squeaky. Bathroom is pretty small. Great water pressure in the tiny tub/shower but sluggish draining.

Stayed here one night after two weeks on the Camino - it certainly hit the right notes! A clean and comfortable boutique hotel in a very central location - the bathroom, although small, had a amazing shower and the beds were so comfortable. We didn't have breakfast but there looked to be a nice choice on offer. Would happily stay here again.

First of all, very good location and price balance We booked economy room with no airco by mistake. However, receptions due to heat give us another room with airco with no additional charge ofc depending on availability, but they assist us with kindness . Rooms were clean and nice space Thanks

Stayed two nights here during camino and loved it! Centrally located but very quiet. The staff Valentina was super friendly and helpful, and the coffee here is the best i had in Spain. Hotel is very clean, cute, and has rooms with bathtub. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here - highly recommend!

Easy to find, comfortable enough hotel in the centre of Burgos. Rooms well-equipped and comfortable, though none of the rooms on the first floor had air-con - it was 39C at the time, so a bit of an issue. Rooms at the front, overlooking the street, can be noisy at night.||Breakfasts okay, probably better than many Spanish hotels, to be fair.||Helpful staff, who seemed to speak multiple langauges.

We have just spent two nights at the Cuantame La Puebla Hotel in Burgos and coming from someone who spends 2 to 3 nights of every week in hotel rooms this place was an absolute find. The hotel is located in the historic centre of Burgos, which itself is a fantastic city with the most amazing cathedral and other architecture. I would describe the hotel as a boutique hotel which has been very tastefully and thoughtfully appointed and decorated. The breakfast which we had included in our rate was extremely good and had everything you would need to set you up for a day of sightseeing around the province of Castilla Y leon. I leave very few hotel reviews however I am compelled to do so because of the outstanding customer service we received here during our stay from Roberto. To say that it was an honour to meet this courteous, unassuming and extremely helpful young man would be an under statement. He gave us assistance and made recommendations which made our time in Burgos something really quite special. Note to the owners of the hotel - Roberto is an asset to your business, hold onto him!!!!
