Hotel Cumbres Lastarria

Good location with easy access to varieties of places. Close to bars, restaurants, shops…in Bohemian and friendly area. Safe and pleasant. Hotel was well equipped, clean, sale and well attended. Rooms were safe, functional and bright. Beds were very comfortable and restful. Breakfast was fresh and good. Staff were friendly and accommodating with enough English for life to go on. We liked it. We appreciate it.

An excellent hotel with a great team. We have stayed here on a few occasions now, this recent trip we went back and forth while travelling to other areas in Chile, as it’s a great location in Santiago to stay in. Our plans changed during this time and the team were incredibly helpful and flexible changing dates for rooms, transfers, etc. The staff are welcoming, helpful and professional - from the hotel porters (Pablo, Alexander) to the reception team, and restaurant/bar staff. They also have a transfer service available for airport or other locations (at a cost, we found it was more cost efficient to book direct with the hotel than use a third party or travel agent in the UK for transfers). The drivers were extremely reliable and professional, both Carlos and Francisco were excellent. The area is great, with a range of restaurants, bars, cafes, etc nearby, and very safe. The hotel is modern, with good facilities, clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds and good showers.

Let me tell you…. I needed a hotel and I was lucky enough to find a room in this beautiful hotel. Loved the breakfast, lots of delicious and fresh fruits. The rooms are very spacious and very comfortable, the staff was very attentive and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and I would return any time!!

I stayed three nights and was warmly welcomed by reception staff. I have nothing but praise for them as they alerted me to a possible taxi scam as it had been noticed that my driver didn't let me off in front of the hotel but around the corner- they were spot on. They went above and beyond, their service was fantastic and this continued throughout the hotel. ||My room was comfortable and well appointed and the filtered water dispenser was a welcome addition. I loved the historic scene behind the bed but found the lighting in the shower inadequate. The bathroom was open plan which was fine as I was staying alone, but privacy would be an issue if I had been sharing with a friend.||The ground floor had a lovely lounge and bar. The rooftop features the restaurant and pool and the views of the snowcapped Andes were spectacular. I had a burger for lunch, it was just ok, but the breakfast was very good and had a good selection of items.||The hotel is well located in the historic area and there was a street market right outside the hotel's huge front door. ||Service, comfort and location, I am happy to recommend the Cumbres Lastarria Hotel.

Location excellent to walk around central Santiago. Staff helped to book local restaurants and advise where to go. Pool small and clean. Breakfast good. Limited coffee in the room but ample downstairs in the Lounge easy to get to.

We stayed here and the location is great. The rooms were not to our liking because we don’t like an open plan bathroom.|The room was dark with no view and the beds not great. The restaurant was closed on a Saturday which was inconvenient. We had dinner there on the Friday and the food and wine was delicious. Breakfast was good.

Room was clean, location excellent, security high and the breakfast was great. My only complaint was that the airport pickup organized by the hotel was about double the cost of an Uber or Taxi. I have booked again for next week.

This a fantastic boutique hotel in the quaint barrio of La Starria in Santiago. The hotel is spotless, as are the rooms. The staff are unerringly friendly, polite and helpful. The included breakfast is a remarkable selection of hot food, fresh fruit and baked goods. I would definitely stay here again.

Highlights/Lowlights 1. EXCELLENT location 2. Staff that goes above and beyond 3. Wine bar closed We recently spent 5 nights at Hotel Cumbres and Lastarria. We LOVED the location and mentioned multiple times on our trip how happy we were with this spot. After walking around the city for several days, we truly feel like Lastarria is the best place to be. This area is close enough to walk to Plaza De Armas and other historical sites and there are many many restaurants and bars right on the same street as this hotel. We ate and drank in this neighborhood all 5 nights and never repeated a dinner spot, PLUS there were more options available that we didn't have time for. The staff here is outstanding! Our flight arrived at 8am on Saturday so we paid a fee for early check in (only an option if a room is ready) and unfortunately our room wasn't ready yet but the hotel staff told us to enjoy breakfast while we waited for a room. About 20 minutes into our breakfast, the staff dropped off our keys and also arranged to have our bags brought to our room. We ordered room service (wine and champagne) a few times during our stay and it always arrived quickly. The hotel staff was also able to arrange us transportation to the airport for our early flight (for a fee). The only drawbacks to our stay is the at there is a very cute wine bar on the first floor of the hotel that was closed the entire time we were there (seems like is has been closed since COVID). Also, no drinks are allowed at the rooftop pool which was a bit of a bummer. We would definitely recommend staying at Hotel Cumbres Lastarria!

Superb hotel. We recommend it. Nice pool on the rooftop. Nice staff. They also have a lounge where you can have coffee, tea, and cookies all day.

Located in the walkable and central Lastarria neighborhood, Hotel Cumbres was beautifully modern, super comfortable and offered an impressive complimentary breakfast served with a stunning 8th floor view of the city. While room 406 was petite, the room was fully functional and offered everything one would need: queen bed, blackout curtains, dependable wifi, rain showerhead with great water pressure, and 2 chocolates that arrive to your room in the evening. For breakfast, the spread and view is decadent and the grey and white marble offers a touch of contemporary elegance. The floor to ceiling windows showcase a gorgeous city and the heat lamps throughout make you feel like you're outdoors (except you're not). Lastarria is an awesome neighborhood for walking around and the hotel is on the edge of the pedestrian-only area (where you'll find local merchants selling their antique books and wares on the street). Lastarria is also near the vibrant Bellavista neighborhood (where you'll find tons of bars, clubs, music venues and restaurants).

One of the best hotel experiences I've had in many years of hotel stays. The hotel has a modern vibe, nice restaurant, pool area and exercise room. Perfectly located in the center of local activities including top restaurants on the same street. But what stands out most exceptionally is the friendly and accommodating staff who genuinely care about their guest's comfort and utility of hotel and city experience in a country that has warm and friendly people. Absolutely fantastic! Phenominal service. Rooms where clean and very chic. Entire staff was incredibly helpful. Will definitly return. Choclate with weather report is just an example of the thoughtfulness of the entire operation. Pro tip: do not use "do not disturb" in the afternoon. You'll miss the free chocolate.

Great place to stay! Clean modern boutique hotel in the center of a vibrant neighborhood and quite close to good restaurants. Hotel bar is comfortable and restaurant nice. Quite pleased. We are from US and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was our favorite hotel while staying in Chile. For the price, it is an absolute steal. The area around it is nice and has a lot of nightlife. The breakfast included was good and the outdoor pool area was very nice. The gym could have been better. room were great but made for couples due to the glass bathroom.

Excellent hotel - very clean, classy, and excellent service. We had two rooms that made a suite to accommodate our family. Also a great breakfast and nice tea in the business lounge in the afternoons. Highly recommend!
