We stayed here two nights only but we have been very happy with our choice. I chose this hotel after much research. We like nice, luxury hotels but also appreciate the smaller boutique feel. We appreciate the nice touches like complementary drinks in the mini fridge and also free Nespresso espresso and bottled water in the lobby. Plus they have an incredible walking tour (free) hosted by Pedro who is very experienced and informative on the history of Lisbon. They offered many free surprises/gifts for us. And as I mentioned, it’s free for hotel guests! What an incredible hotel. I would highly recommend and would stay here again or try their sister hotel. One note to be aware is that their classic room while very lovely is small. We were only there for two nights so opted for this basic room. If I were to spend more time or nights then I would book a larger room. ||We had the breakfast which is in their lovely restaurant, while not a large buffet it was more than enough.

Absolutely amazing!. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. First off, the staff were truly so helpful and friendly. Gave us great recommendations on restaurants. Must try the paella at Pinoquio, one of our favorites!. I wanted my hair done, the gentleman at the front desk walked to the salon to help me communicate...where do you get service like that anymore?!. The rooms were clean and beautifully designed. Location is perfect, walk out the door and its a 5-10 min walk to most anything in the center. Consider upgrading to include the breakfast. It's a full breakfast. This hotel really started and completed our stay in Lisbon perfectly. Highly recommend!.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Da Baixa. Under the leadership of Mr. Pedro Falcao, the Baxia team was professional and friendly. They went out of their way to make guests fully satisfied. The rooms are moderate in size but comfortable and not lacking in amenities. I enjoyed the breakfast: a wide and fresh selection . The omelettes were exceptional. The location is very central and a short distance from all shops and restaurants. A great advantage in a hilly city. I highly recommend it.

Great hotel. Location is central. Amazing, kind, very accommodating staff. Pedro is excellent with the walking tour as well as helping us with our itinerary for the day. He even took 3-5 minutes out of the tour to take us to the money gram so we can do a money exchange .||Breakfast is also delicious with a great selection. ||Room is spacious , bed is very comfortable and great shower.||Would definitely stay again when we come back to Lisbon.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my stay at Hotel da Baixa in Lisbon. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and the cleanliness and care throughout the hotel were outstanding. The entire staff here creates such a beautiful, inviting environment. |Every recommendation given to us by the staff was spot-on, from restaurants to sights, making our Lisbon experience even more special. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the complimentary city tour offered to all guests. Our guide, Pedro, gave us the greatest tour we’ve ever experienced. As first-time visitors to Lisbon, he made sure we didn’t miss a single detail of this incredible city. He shared fascinating history, stories, and hidden gems that brought Lisbon to life in such a meaningful way. The tour ended with such a special touch—Pedro surprised us with thoughtful gifts and wine, creating a warm atmosphere where all of us hotel guests could mingle and connect. It was truly unforgettable.||I am already eager to return to Portugal, and without question, I will be staying at Hotel da Baixa again. If you’re coming to Lisbon, you won’t regret your stay here and I highly recommend joining the tour!

Our stay was made truly exceptional thanks to the outstanding leadership and care of the hotel manager, Pedro Falcao. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the entire team reflects the manager’s professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail.||Every request was handled promptly and with genuine kindness, and Pedro went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. What stood out most was the personal touch—checking in with us directly, remembering small details, and making us feel more like valued guests than just visitors.||The walking city tour with Pedro was fantastic. Pedro was very knowledgeable , engaging, and made the history come alive with great stories. We got to see hidden gems as well as the main highlights at a comfortable pace .||It’s rare to see such dedication and passion in hospitality. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, comfortable but the service led by Pedro is what truly sets it apart. We left with wonderful memories and will definitely return. Highly recommend!

Hotel was great. Classy with very personable and friendly staff. I highly recommend the tour with Pedro Falcão. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon. He will go above and beyond to make sure your experience goes as smoothly as possible. Plus you also get wine or juice after all that walking. The rest of the staff are also friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and classy. The WiFi is also fast and reliable.

The hotel location is centrally located and within walking distance to everything we needed. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The service manager (Pedro) was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The breakfast provided was good. The bar and restaurant were good and there was good entertainment provided each night. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Although the price of the room wasn't cheap, we felt it was well worth it.
