Hotel Da Raffaele

😊: The hotel is recently renovated and has very comfortable rooms. The location is perfect, on the main shopping street, just a few minutes from the ferry and a short stroll to the beach. The service was very good. We had a problem with mosquitos in the room but the first morning the hotel provided an anti-mosquito device in the room and problem solved! And a nice breakfast with charming Louisa serving us and giving us a lot of useful information for our stay. A very nice stay! :-). 😢: Nothing in particular. See above about solving our only problem..

😊: The room was a great size and spotless! It is just a 5 minute walk from the ferry dock and the breakfast that is included in the price is phenomenal! In addition, the Spiaggia di San Pietro (San Pietro beach) is a few steps away. BTW....the Sun Pietro Beach Club (Via Spiaggia San Pietro, 4) is the absolute BEST place to have a drink before heading out to dinner. Order an On Carrubo, amaro di carruba Spritz............unforgettable and this liqueur is only available on Ischia.. 😢: There are a few mosquitos in the room but not bad. They have these plug in things with blue strips in them to keep them at bay..

😊: This was a delightful stay in no small part due to the incredibly warm and accommodating staff who made every effort to connect with us and take care of our every need. They were always joyous and welcoming.. 😢: The stay was perfect. No complaints..

Freshly renovated rooms, great bathrooms shower etc. Staff very engaging and helpful. Resturant and street cafe associated with hotel are excellent. Location so handy to port, ferries, buses etc and beach just down road 100mtrs. Local streets closed in evening to walk along with so many shops and bars etc...spent 8 days there it was excellent.

😊: Central location. Very clean room, modern fittings, excellent bathroom and shower. Good breakfast choìce..

Overall it was a good experience at this hotel. Daily room cleaning, friendly staff and pretty quiet. The location it’s the very key point of this accommodation: pedestrian area, many restaurants, bars, nearby beach, and in the port proximity. 3 things we didn’t enjoyed that much: 1. the shower is really small, that small that with a few extra kilos we couldn’t enter in it most probably. 2. The lack of wireless in our room. 3. The lack of a balcony (for drying the beach textiles).

From the minute I arrive, I feel like I am with family. Whatever I need or want, They are there to see to it!. Raffaele, Mary, Geno, Franco and the whole staff are so friendly and accommodating. I love to get up and be spoiled with a delicious breakfast in the breakfast room every morning! I like to talk to everyone there; staff and travelers alike. The rooms are very simple yet clean and comfortable. There is airconditioning 24/7, not like some other hotels that turn them off after the summer holiday. There are TV's and refrigerators in every room too. The food in the restaurant is so delicious too. It's not like you have to eat what the hotels put out for you. You have many choices and when I say it is delicious, I mean it! I love the location down near the port. I always sit and have some wine before dinner and watch the world go by. I try to sit near the front doors of the restaurant so I can visit with friends and family when they partake in their evening stroll. All in all, I would not stay anywhere else on this beautiful island of Ischia. There is no need to.

Family run along with the restaurant da Raffaele...Honestly, the food is the best we have had on the entire island.. Everything is made to order and just melts in your mouth...If you are familiar with Italian service being slow, no worries, the minute you sit down the waiter Franco is at your table. He greets you in any language and the within minutes your food is there...As for the hotel it is centered in the best spot in town on via Roma...whatever you need whether a scooter, taxi they arrange everything.. The rooms are spacious with air conditioning. The whole place is charming and a great bed n breakfast to come and go as you like...The hotel offers full board or half board which with their food is amazing...If you want charming and location and people that care..then this is the place for you!
