I stayed three nights at hotel dali. Location was excellent. Walking distance to sights, restaurants, public transportation and stores of all varieties. Customer service was outstanding. They have an English speaking staff who are eager to assist in any way. The cleanliness and material condition was spotless inside and out. The hotel is very well maintained. They have in room safes and coffee maker. Exceptional value for your money. My only complaint is that the bed was very hard. Other than that the hotel greatly exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

AC did not work. Up until 1am moving to a new room with a working AC unit, after checking in and attempting to cool the room down after 8pm.|Reported this problem to desk staff. Asked for a 1-night refund. Desk staff said they would talk to manager and take care of it. They consistently did nothing. After trying to talk to the manager (Christian) myself, I got a big run around with promises that he was going to call my cell at a certain time. Never got any calls. I finally waited and caught him trying to avoid us. During his discussion, he was calm and assured us that a 1-night refund was appropriate and he would take care of it. That was 4 weeks ago. Repeated attempts to contact him, and he just keeps saying, "manana". He never takes care of it. The management and the staff here are worthless liars.

the staff was fantastic. however, Aircon blew directly on the bed which was quite uncomfortable, the light switches were mysterious in location and function. while the water pressure and shower head were great, its hard to explain how uncomfortable the shower and bathroom were....the towel shelf in front of the toilet forced you to slither in an S shape to get to the shower where the terrifying glass door would not stay open or closed, and watch your face when getting up from the toilet (if you were able to find the light switch its not as dangerous.) there was no natural light or window. the nearby food was not good or cheap, for the same money about two kilometers west is way way better, elegant even.

Great place, staff were very helpful and kind, there are very polite and they always are ready to help you with a smile. I'm coming back here because it is very convenient and nice place. One thing that I will change is the parking. They are always solutions for that but after all, still a great choice. They don't have the Breakfast Buffet anymore.

Good news first. Service staff are very good. location is excellent. Hotel is clean. Bad news: 1. air conditioner sounds like an airplane all night long. 2. Closet has shelves in the center so that it is difficult to hang anyting. 3. Closet light is on all night and must keep door closed. 4. Coffee maker and two cups in closet but no coffee. 5."No VIEW" does not mean "no view" it means "no window." 6. Action activated lighting is good for environment but difficult to receive any room service. 7. Internet was TERRIBLE barely there.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights. The first night the WiFi didn’t work in my room at all. Also the shower had a plumbing leak causing a moldy smell in my room. They put me in a new room for the next two nights. WiFi only worked intermittently and was extremely slow when it did work. The staff could do nothing to help. Do not stay here if you need WiFi in your room. Restaurant was mediocre at best. Food was nothing like the pictures on the menu. Good location and easy walking around the Centro.

Yelp
My stay was impacted by a theft incident. Despite clear communication with the housekeeper & placing a "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door, our room was entered, & $100 was stolen from my purse during our 1st day. Upon return from a quick errand, we were startled to find our room door open & the housekeeper in our room. She said "they told me you requested a blanket. I knocked & you didn't answer." At the moment, we thought it was a simple error & she got the rooms confused. We left our hotel again to exchange money. As I took out my bills to exchange currencies, I discovered that a $100 bill was missing from my purse. This is when we booked a new hotel, & left our current booking at Hotel Dali. While management addressed the issue & confirmed our account with security footage, their resolution was unprofessional. They held the housekeeper accountable for the theft, requiring her to return the money from her personal bank account. This decision seemed like an act of public embarrassment, but the process of retrieving the money from the housekeeper's account took an unreasonably long time, & further added to the frustration of the situation. While I appreciate their efforts, I can't overlook their resolution process. While the hotel's management addressed the theft & Expedia returned my money, the experience left me with disappointment & frustration, overshadowing the positive aspects of my stay. We completely wasted a day during our trip, & added an extra expense.

Yelp
Whatever you do, don't stay here. Beds do not have a mattress top, just a rock hard spring! Personnel is rude and lacks customer service. The staff has no regards for your well being and or your vehicle if you decide to park at their location. Do not pay extra for the "view" it's definitely a scam

Yelp
I have visited Guadalajara many times over the last 20 years and have stayed at boutique hotels to chain hotels and independent hotels I really have been impressed with Hotel Dali Plaza. The staff, the location, and the overall charm have made it my preferred choice when staying in GDL. Let's start with the staff, they treat everyone with genuine kindness. It doesn't matter if you are a high roller from Las Vegas or just a simple dude from Boise, Idaho. The entry attendant is always willing to give out his top picks for eats, treats, and attractions. The front desk team is so kind and understanding. Gema, Gabriella, and the front desk team are super chill and friendly. PRO-TIP: Before you leave the hotel to go up, turn in your room key. There will be a dedicated place to drop it off. You'll be issued a new one when you get back. The lounge is relaxing and is great for people watching. Why do you ask? Hotel Dali Plaza has situated a quick 5-10-minute walk to the city center. Exit to the left and start your walk. PRO-TIP 2: Make sure you have bags like a target bag or one from Trader Joe's. If you're granola like me, you have a Chico bag that rolls itself into a ball for compact storage. All the stores will not provide you with a bag. The only place that will give you a plastic bag is the gigantic Libertad indoor swap meet. That's a review for another time. I've entered and exited multiple times without any issues, but you want to get back to the hotel before 10 pm. It's not that anything bad is going to happen to you after 10 pm but just don't be stupid and be aware of your surroundings. There is a parking garage that I didn't use. Driving in GDL is a pain in the ass. Either walk it or catch an Uber. Skip the taxi. The rooms are spacious. My typical room is s king size room with a king-size bed. There's s desk, closet, and bathroom PRO-TIP 3: Don't go looking for the light switch in the closet because it's doesn't exist. The functionality is controlled by the door. Opening the door activates the light in the closet and vice versa. The bed is big albeit a little hard but if you walk 15,000 steps a day, it won't matter much. The bathroom and shower are adequate and modern. PRO-TIP 4: When you are in your room, keep your room key inserted in its docking bay holder by the front door. If you don't, you will Not have any electricity in the room. The room is powered by the room key in its docking station. It's kind of handy in one sense that you'll never have to go looking for the key card in your room. Here's my only grip. You can hear neighboring rooms. One night I felt like a voyeur and the subsequent night, I hear kids running back and forth. On the third night, it was a cackle of laughs from a bachelorette party. It's really not a big deal and it's definitely not a deal-breaker for me. I didn't eat at the restaurant since I am vegan so I can't rate the restaurant downstairs Hotel Dali is value-priced at less than $40 USD a night for downtown GDL with a super friendly and attentive staff plus a clean and spacious room. I would totally recommend Hotel Dali Plaza and if you do go and stay please make sure to get yourself with Dali by the elevators

Yelp
The manager was very attentive but the staff behave like as if they don't know how to do their job. From asking for towels never given to us the manager had to tell the employees to give us towels downstairs the parking really sucks be careful if you park downstairs they have 1 guy running bags and helping with parking cars I give them a 2 because the manager still tried to make my stay better but the beds are rock hard hopefully the owners get it together and invest some money on beds and the staff gets better training.

Yelp
Just awesome, the staff was courteous and professional but Daniel went above and beyond. I was frustrated trying to find a little styrofoam cooler and ice and He just told me to relax and He would take care of it and He did. Got me a cooler and ice delivered to my door within minutes. He was always tending to our needs. Thank You!

Yelp

Yelp
The staff was courteous and professional, the entire place was clean, and the free upgrade was appreciated. I didn't have to ask for a room with a view, but was pleased to find a panoramic view of the city. I was also able to use the gym alone, which is much appreciated during Covid times. The gym is small but functional, the Wi-Fi is adequate but often overloaded in the evenings. The TV channels are somewhat limited, but the beds are comfortable and The in-room safe offers good security. Housekeeping was excellent. Can't beat the location for the price.

Yelp
I forgot my son's iPad in the room and it was stolen by the staff. I spoke to multiple management employees and they claimed it was not found in the room. Thieves! Aquí los empleados son rateros! Se robaron la tableta (ipad) de mi niño que se quedo en el cuarto. Jamás volveré!

Yelp
Not sure how good the hotel is but the restaurant is the worst I've ever been to In My Life. The steak was well done when I ordered it rare then they brought out a second piece that was still frozen. The tuna was unedible as it was microwaved out of a freezer. Was the most disgusting serving I've ever seen in my life

Yelp
$400dls went missing from the room the only day house keeping went in. Didn't notice till the next day and the manager ignored my calls for weeks. He never reached out answered or even bothered to apologize.

Yelp
Stayed for 6 days and we enjoyed the location of this hotel. Everything is at a walking distance and in a safe location. Sometimes we would be walking outside at 1am and felt safe. The staff was friendly, especially an older gentleman that works the front desk at nights, he's great! Also, the rooms were kept clean daily.

Yelp
Stayed at the Dali Plaza Hotel for two days, we had a pleasant stay, the staff was very helpful, very cordial employees. The room was adequate for $30 a night cant expect Central Park. We went on a Tequila Tour the next day I highly recommend it, its an all day so be prepared to get drunk on Tequila or take many pics, you'll love it. Its only $400 pesos, = $ 25 trust me its worth its money for the adventure, they pick you up at the hotel and drop you off. Well be back of course and do more sight seeing next time, this was just the start of our week long vacation our next destination is Puerto Valkarta

Yelp
Very nice hotel, simple but enjoyable. The rooms are clean and ample. I had a pleasant experience in this "centro histórico" Guadalajara hotel.
