Hotel Dalt Murada

Beautiful, old style rooms with a fabulous roof top terrace with unbeatable views of the cathedral. The room is basic but I love the old furniture and felt really kinda vintage! The staff speak perfect English and they were very helpful and friendly, especially when I left my charger in the room and had to come back a few days later to get it!

Very interesting hotel. I was on a work trip and only stayed 1 night. My room was very large with a separate sitting room and a massive bathroom with a large jetted tub. It is an old building with very high ceilings and antique furnishings. It was cool outside and I didn't need A/C. There is only a small corner cooling unit in the sitting room, so I am not sure how hot it might be in summer. It is a good location short walk to the cathedral and waterfront. The breakfast was decent - nothing hot, but a good selection of meats, cheeses, breads, fruit, yogurt, and cereal. There is a nice courtyard to sit for breakfast, but unfortunately, that is also the place to smoke. I would stay here again.

Initial impressions are it's a super place. Entry is via an alleyway that has superb architecture. Rooms basic but full of character. We have 101 which is on its own overlooking a quiet street. Shower not bath which is fine. Well stocked drinks bar but at sensible prices. Roof terrace is fantastic for a drink in the sun overlooking old Palma the back of the cathedral and a beautiful view of the church in the opposite direction. Bring your drink from the room. Central for everything in Palma, we will return.

A traditional yet modern hotel in a great location in the middle of Palma old town. Our room was spacious, traditionally furnished, clean and had a modern bathroom suite. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard where breakfast is served and drinks can be enjoyed, as well as a roof terrace which commands stunning views over the cathedral and the rest of the old town. My only niggle was that the staff was rather indifferent albeit perfectly competent. All in all I would thoroughly recommend the Malt Durada and would happily return.

Lovely place with a great shaded center courtyard filled with fruit trees. The rooms are all very unique. The hotel is right in the middle of old town so very convenient to walk everywhere. I'd definitely go back.

A very good Hotel with a lot of Charme. Absolutely in the center of the Old Town of Mallorca. Such a lot of good place’s around. Kind Personal, clean rooms and good service! Only bad point we had to fight with some ruthless people that make no difference between 3pm night or day. Sadly that was something we had to fight with almost every night :( guess this could happen everywhere.

Superb hotel and very friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Great central location. Excellent breakfast. Our room had an enormous bathroom with a jacuzzi overlooking the courtyard with lemon trees.

One star for the position. One star for the nice lady at the reception. One star for the style. Cleanliness can be improved. "Fresh" stains and hair on our sink when we entered the bathroom. I don't want to know what maybe was on the toilet or not, I wiped it off. Shower: missing tile on the floor, very little water pressure, gaps of the shower cubicle were filled with silicone but I don't know who did this it was not done properly. Just some fat stripes and smeared everywhere... disgusting. Visible holes from former holdings, old remains of silicone... Our room number was 101 and it was directly over the entrance so we noticed every word the people were talking outside. I would not come back for the normal price...

My wife an I stayed here in the October 2010 while waiting to rendezvous with our family's yacht. They were sailing around the Balearic Islands for a few weeks and we decided to fly to Palma de Mallorca to hitch a ride for 10 days. We flew in early that morning and was checked in our room at 2pm. Since we had arrived so early, our room was not ready, but they locked up our bags so we could explore the area with out lugging around our gear. We also stayed another night at Dalt Muranda 10 days after sailing around the islands. I have to say even though there was massive construction on the street where the Hotel was located, we had a wonderful stay. The staff and accommodations were perfect. The room in which we stayed was very classically decorated and the gigantic jacuzzi was great after a 22hr travel from the states and 10 days out on open water. Staff spoke great english and were very kind to Americans. Actually one individual studied in Tennessee, which is where we are from. They were very accommodating and informative. Gave a great rate and also let us leave some stuff there while we were out to sea. The location is perfect, puts you right in the middle of everything. Walk to the shops, cafes, sites and ocean, within minutes. If we ever go back, with out a doubt, we will stay there again. Absolutely beautiful, safe, cozy and affordable.
