My mom and I stayed for a week at the end of November and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very old but quaint and we appreciated its history and charm! The location is perfect as it's close to many shops and restaurants and we also found it to be quiet for sleeping as well, as it's not on a busy road. I am a light sleeper and had no trouble getting a restful night's sleep. Our room was huge by Parisian standards, which I was not expecting. My only complaint was the cleanliness of our room. It was not as clean as I would have liked, but other than that we loved our stay. We opted to include breakfast and were happy with the options (fresh croissants, baguettes, hard-boiled eggs, deli meats, yogurt, fruits, cereals). I will definitely stay again in the future as the location was amazing and central to many attractions.

This was a lovely small hotel!. We stayed in the Double Room - Superior, which was a nice size with an adjoining living room and enough space to spread out. The bathroom was beautiful! Breakfast was good - mostly continental with cheeses, sliced meats, granola and pastries. They also had hard boiled eggs, so quite satisfactory. |The location was great! Easy walking distance to the Orsay, Louvre, and Metro system.|There is no air conditioning, but there was a fan in the bedroom and we slept with our windows open (mid-late September). We would certainly recommend this charming hotel.

My fiance and I stayed here for 4 nights in August. Although a little warm without A/C, the provided fan in the room did the trick and we were nice and comfortable. We also loved the true black out curtains that enabled us to sleep in and enjoy some peaceful mornings. The hotel is beautiful with classic French charm. From the garden views, to the beautifully furnished rooms and the upgraded bathroom, to the friendly and professional staff, we loved every second of our stay! The included breakfast was simple yet delicious, and we also loved the gluten free options. The hotel is also ideally located in a nice area with plenty of great food at your doorstep, and only a few short blocks from the metro and other transportation options. Would 10/10 recommend, and hope to stay here again in the future!

Overall, excellent and quiet location and helpful staff. My only criticism is the lack of decent room lighting in the superior room, skimpy closet space and outworn furniture (needs either new or reupholster). No elevator which may or may not suit everyone. The breakfast and bathroom is average for a hotel of this reputation.

Amazing hotel! We stayed for two nights in Room 23, and from the moment we checked in late at night, we were welcomed by the cheerful staff. The room was spotless, and the best part was that we didn't need to use any public transportation since the hotel is right in the heart of Paris! The breakfast was incredible, too. If we ever come back to Paris, we'll definitely stay here again! Thank you for being such an amazing hotel!

Fantastic position a few minutes walk to grand fashion shops and tiny winding alleys of art galleries. Our room was spacious and the bed huge and comfortable. There is no minibar because it's a traditional hotel where you can order room service. There is no ac which ok, is nice but its was a very hot spell when we stayed and the floor to ceiling windows open and we had two fans. It was fine. There is a gorgeous open shady courtyard for drinks, snacks or breakfast. Super value for a traditional, proper comfortable hotel which celebrates historical links to Ernest Hemingway. Why go to Paris and stay in an identikit chain?

The Hotel could not be more charming or authentic. Truly a gem in a perfect location for wandering around Paris. Close to many fine Bistros and to the Louvre. Rooms are delightful and exquisitely decorated. Our room was surprisingly spacious with windows that opened to the courtyard. I appreciate fresh air. Very quiet. A great breakfast included that you can sit inside or outside. Helpful and professional front desk. Heaven.

I booked the hotel almost a month in advance. Requested for the blue room and I was under the impression I received the room I requested.|When I got to the hotel I was checked into room 40. This was very old/smelly/dark and the shower was very noisy you could burst your eardrums if you showered longer.|I raised my complaint and my room was changed to a better room.|The hotel doesn’t have Air conditioning, No fridge/chiller in the room. It is a challenge in summer.|The staff were accommodating/understanding with my room change request which made my stay more pleasant after.|Great location
