The location of the hotel is great, within walking distance of the Musee d'Orsay, Louvre, Notre Dame etc. We were in 'Deluxe' rooms facing the street with plenty of space, tall windows, a separate lounge area and a huge comfortable bed. The brown marble bathroom with walk-in shower and bath, had no window, but no extractor fan either. The furnishings were good quality, but dated. More important for us was that we went in a scorching heatwave and there is no air conditioning. Each room had been given 2 very efficient fans, but it was still hot. There is a tiny lift to some of the rooms, but apparently not all. Breakfast was included. This is an old fashioned hotel, comfortable, but expensive. The location is the main attraction.

Seven nights at this lovely historic hotel and it was a wonderful experience. It’s in great neighborhood on a fairly quiet street which was nice even after the PSG win! No air conditioning which was noticeable on two of the nights but with a very good fan that is provided it was fine. Nice continental breakfast included each morning and I really liked the old school key to the room which you hand to the 24 hour desk attendant each time you leave. In room safe and large well stocked bathroom, this hotel was a great respite after long days of site seeing. Thumbs up 👍

Our stay at Hotel D'Angleterre was wonderful. The location is great - walking distance of the Louvre and Notre Dame but also the beautiful area of Saint Germaine. Staff were all very accommodating and welcoming. There is a beautiful courtyard filled with jasmine which smells lovely. We had our breakfast there on our first morning because the sun was shining - it was so lovely. Breakfast was a range of continental foods and the pastries were delicious and fresh|We had two rooms - one was beautifully furnished |and spacious looking over the courtyard. It had a roll top bath and everything! The other room was a bit basic and the bathroom could do with being updated but it was very comfortable.

This is my favorite hotel in Paris. We 've stayed here twice and enjoyed it each time. The location in the 6th is perfect. It's a short walk to the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, and Notre Dame, and it's surrounded by lots of shops and cafes. The rooms are reasonably priced and include breakfast (if you book directly on their website). I can't say enough good things about the staff. They were so friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Paris.

We have been visiting this hotel most years since 1982. This last visit for 7 nights was as wonderful as our first visit.||The hotel is exceptionally full of old world charm. The staff is attentive to every need. The rooms are a delight.||Morning buffet breakfasts start the day off right.||Oh, and the neighborhood. 2 blocks to Flore, 2 1/2 blocks to Deux Margots, and 1 block from Relais d’entrcote. You can’t miss hanging out in Saint Germaine des Pres.

This boutique hotel was a fabulous find. Gracious welcome and service by staff. Absolutely wonderful ambience. Sit and enjoy an evening aperitif in the courtyard. Breakfast well presented, delicious and fresh. Immaculately clean. Room was extremely comfortable and quiet. Hotel is situated in a fantastic location. Can only highly recommend.

Lovely classic romantic charming hotel. Greay location to metro and shops and tourist sites yet on a quiet side street. Great staff and breakfast. Highlight —- the inner open air leafy courtyard. No airco but good fan in room. Missed having a coffeemaker option in room but such facilities available at reception cafe all day/night.

A charming hotel with lots of character, conveniently situated only a five minute walk to the Metro and with restaurants all around.|The walls are covered in fabric and the furniture is antique, perfect for Paris. The dining room is charming with friendly staff and a good selection of fresh food for breakfast. We had a large junior suite overlooking the courtyard up two floors of winding stairs, with a large bathroom. No lift so not suitable for anyone with mobility problems, but there are other rooms with lift access.||Our bathroom was large but unfortunately the shower head could not be moved and was fixed at mid chest level. Very inconvenient. The only mirror was the one over the basin. As I am near sighted I could not use this to put on make-up, or when putting in eye drops. I asked for a small free-standing mirror but they could not supply one.||Large white fluffy towels and, although Paris was cold, the room was lovely and warm.
