Hotel Daniel Graz

Was there for a night on a business trip.|Nice stuff, compy room, helpfull stuff.|Very close to the main train station and in a walking distance to the city center.|They have a rather not expensive Vespa rental in the hotel which unfortunately I didn't had the time to take and explore the city. Maybe next time.

Good placement near the main train station, in 20 min walking distance you can visit the old town. Parking could be a problem, as you cannot reserve a place (only 1 !). Public parking available, but it is a matter of luck if you find a spot there. Rooms tidy, clean.

Good location, clean room, comfy bed. But...moody, unsmiling lady on reception. The toilet and shower are IN the room, with partitioning, not as an en-suite. Not too much of an issue if you're a long-term couple (although still rather awkward) but wouldn't work if travelling with a friend or a new partner! Inexplicably, the shower 'wall' joining into the room is clear glass so the other person can see you in the shower, and in the night puttting the light on in the toilet next to the shower wakes up the other person due to the glass. Really poorly thought out! Pricing was good, but we would not stay again for this reason.

I was here because i got stranded by a wrong train in the middle of the night. I was so mad, tired and angry. thank god that this hotel is located just right on the side of the train station. It really ease everything. They got mcd and subway very close too. This is the perfect hotel when you need a quick nap before hopping on another trip. The only downside is that the bathroom has a glass partition that faces right to bed. So you cant really shower when you're coming with a colleague. 😅 and the staff are not so friendly.. they prefer talking to one another while checking me in (makes it longer, remember, i came from a bad trip). And i think the conversation makes them forget to note that i've paid for the city tax, because when i check out they ask for another payment.. But we settled it tho. be better, people.

A lovely hotel at a great location, with cozy rooms that are decorated nicely, using high quality materials. The beds are extremely comfy and everything was impeccably clean! I'll definitely be back and can warmly recommend Hotel Daniel.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and not too noisy for the closeness to the station. The idea of having a loggia is great, sadly it is rather decorated and equipped a bit sloppy. It’s okay but not 4 or 5 stars. Saying that the idea of the design is brilliant but has to be executed also in the detail.

Hotel very comfortable for a short city visit. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable, duvet is so nice. Carpets in room give it a more basic feel but the room has what you need for a short trip. Rooms are quiet. There’s no frills but has what you need. Breakfast is fantastic. Staff are polite. Good location for public transport: trains, buses & trams. It’s an easy 20 min walk into the centre Hauptplatz der Stadt Graz.

Urban smart! For a fun, stylish, practical and inexpensive stay in Graz, go with the Daniel hotel. Located within walking distance from the Graz train station and minutes from the city center, this hotel was recently fully remodeled to offer all the comfort and practicality needed by all types of travelers. What stood out the most was the atmosphere of the lobby and restaurant areas as well as the breakfast which was incredibly fresh, varied and good. The room was simple and small but modern, comfortable and clean. The hotel offered daily Vespa rental for 20 Euros! They also had bicycles and a Vespa tricycle for rent. And the hotel was pretty quiet for being next to the railway tracks.

Good breakfast, ok location, rooms are fine for the price (no safe or mini fridge, just bare essentials). Good location for someone that works within 15 mins walk from office. It's also about a 20 mins walk to city center.
