Hotel Daniela by The Sisters Zermatt

Everything about this hotel is first class. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and helpful. The rooms are a nice size and offer balconies to enjoy the wonderful weather of Zermatt. The breakfast offers many choices and is always fresh and well-made. Our balcony offered a direct look at the Matterhorn, and while it was obscured by clouds most of the time, on our final morning, it made a spectacular appearance (See photo). Put quite simply, this is how all hotels should be operated. We will be back.

Let me start with a fact: in an era when hotels buy reviews or fake reviewers score establishments, Hotel Daniela changes your idea about scores. It deserves every point of its 4.8 on Google. First, we arrived rather late in the evening, and had forgotten to ask for a shuttle service. The super kind and professional receptionist immediately arranged it for us. We then experienced one of the warmest welcomes ever. Luna, the receptionist, made our night by offering us prosecco once she realized it was our anniversary. On top of that, she agreed to arrange our visit to the spa sooner than its actual opening hour. Beyond, the minibar and coffee were exemplary. The bed and pillows were among the comfiest we’ve ever tried (esp. if you’re tired of super soft hotel pillows that distract your sleep!) Breakfast was really good, try the variety of cheese and fresh orange juice! And to add more to this great experience, Hotel Daniela encourages sustainable stays, which I truly appreciate! Every corner is sparkling clean, as well. What a gem in Zermatt! Thanks to Luna and the other staff members :)

This is a great place to stay, offering a super location, friendly staff, clean rooms, amazing design, and delicious breakfast. ||Every single element is done like nowhere in the world - the breakfast, welcome cake, smiles of the girls at the reception, Shuttle bus from and to the airport, kindness... Everything! It is not a hotel, but a cozy place where you feel right at home, surrounded by friendly people who take great care of you and your time there. Bravo!||The view from the terrace to the legendary Matterhorn peak is stunning and unforgettable. ||I warmly recommend this wonderful city to everyone who would like to spend a good time there! The Siters, the best!

Spent 2N here. Staff was very helpful|Room was big , and well set up|Location 8 mins to Train Station , less than 5 minutes from Zermatt City Centre and less than 10 minutes from Matterhorn Glacier Paradise entry points.|Minibar (free once , no refills), coffee machine top notch.|Light refreshments available at reception without extra charge at all times.||Breakfast had great options (it seemed) , since we were vegetarian , options were very less. Staff did try to arrange a few things for us.||Reception is cozy, has a sitting space and lot of boars games to spent time.||USP for us the Wellness centre, the Jaccuzzi, Sauna and Steam were super well maintained and had a great vibe.||Would love to come again some day!

Just wrapped up a two night stay on our travel across Switzerland. Lovely little hotel and very friendly service. Nice breakfast each morning, and a room with a small patio that had a view of the Matterhorn. We were glad to stay on the other side of the river, a very short walk to the main area of town but a quiet escape at night. Highly recommend!

Breakfast is typical fare. Desk clerks were like concierges even going to the train station to help us with an issue. The instructions for the safe are confusing. They were able to do same day laundry, not dry cleaning. Quiet area. I reserve 5/5 for hotels with amenities like robes, slippers, fantastic views and breakfasts. Otherwise this hotel was great.

EXCEPTIONAL HOTEL. Beautifully appointed, very clean and welcoming staff.|My wife and I stayed for two nights in April. The room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. It had all the amenities of a 5 star hotel in the USA. |The breakfast buffett is excellent. Ask for a cappuccino if you enjoy coffee with breakfast. Buenissimo. |Ciao from Gregory and Lourdes. ||

What an amazing hotel! We didn't realize they offered shuttle from the train station, but they definitely got us back. The rooms are adorable and the view was wonderful. Customer service was top notch. We enjoyed the Spa Area.
