Hotel Daniela by The Sisters Zermatt

We stayed one night at Hotel Daniela in Zermatt and our experience was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the honeymoon surprise prepared in our room was truly amazing such a thoughtful detail that made our stay unforgettable. The spa area was beautifully designed and very relaxing, and the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel itself, including the lobby and the rooms, felt extremely cosy and comfortable. A special mention to the staff who picked us up and brought us back to the train station they were exceptionally kind and helpful. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Hotel Daniela. We can’t wait to come back! Family Reis.

This hotel was excellent. The room was clean and well equipped, with a balcony and complementary mini-bar. The breakfasts offered a great selection of hot and cold food, including several different breads, meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurt etc. as well as cooked breakfast offerings. There was also nespresso coffee and baked snacks available throughout the day. A very pleasant experience.

My friend and I stayed at this charming hotel for a night in Zermatt and it was the ideal spot for us to relax and rewind. The staff was extremely friendly and generous with tips and advice for us newbies in town. We went during off season so after our trip to the Matterhorn, heading to the spa back at the hotel was the perfect way to spend our evening in the cool winter. The only down side was they din't have an open kitchen for dinner. However, the excellent breakfast spread the next morning more than made up for it and was a great way to jumpstart our journey back to Zurich! Thanks for a memorable experience, overall!

What’s not to like. The rooms were beautiful and modern with all necessary extras eg coffee machine and balcony.|Breakfast was good quality|Staff lovely and helpful and there was always someone on reception.|Location is great- a 10 minute walk to the Matterhorn glacier paradise cable car and 5 minutes from the shopping streets. |We asked for their electric buggy to collect us and return to the station as we had heavy bags and they were there on time each way. |Worthy of potential 5 stars but an excellent 4 stars

Spent 4 nights in Zermatt at Hotel Daniela, it was absolutely lovely. Great location, easily within walking distance of everywhere in town, rooms were clean and well stocked, staff were friendly, attentive and helpful, great spread for breakfast and a lovely spa that we used every day. I cannot fault this hotel at all based on our stay, and would strongly recommend to anyone looking to book.

From the moment we arrived, the service at Hotel Daniela was outstanding. Victoria at the front desk went above and beyond — her warmth, local knowledge, and advice on where to go and how to get there made our stay in Zermatt unforgettable. Every interaction with the staff was genuine and friendly, especially in the restaurant where the team were nothing short of incredible — attentive, cheerful, and welcoming.||The breakfasts were a highlight each morning: a generous hot and cold selection, the most delicious homemade birchermuesli, fresh juices (you can even squeeze your own!), a great coffee selection, and even Prosecco if you wish to start your day in style. Throughout the day, freshly baked goods are often available in the lobby — a lovely touch that makes you feel truly cared for.||The rooms are beautifully decorated with stunning attention to detail — from the artistic headboards to the custom shower screen prints. Everything feels warm, cosy, and high quality. Plush robes, slippers, and a complimentary minibar on arrival made us feel completely spoiled.||In terms of location, it’s peaceful yet perfectly positioned — close enough to walk anywhere but tucked away from noise. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is calm, cosy, and inviting, with a wonderful alpine charm.||We truly cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Every aspect — from cleanliness to service, amenities, and value — exceeded our expectations. Hotel Daniela is an absolute gem in Zermatt, and we can’t wait to return.

The best luxury feeling sofar in Switzerland is this hotel, small touches which really make myself and my girlfriend and family so happy.||Really appreciate the management for the incredible hospitality from the team.||The best things i love there is breakfast buffet, the setup, ambience, the product and look of the place. The service was outstanding, the man there is very helpful.||The girl in the reception, the man who dropped us to train station are also very kind. The wirpool, sauna and steam room also looks great. The amenities you put provide in spa like nuts, infused water and tea selection touch heart, which i don't find anywhere else.||Last but not the least, the room was supper beautiful, spacious and we got a room with beautiful view. The mini bar is included which again suprise us. The room cleanliness and amenities were awesome. ||Once again thank you very much for for the wonderful hospitality. For sure will be back there for more days soon. This time only spent two nights.

Everything about this hotel is first class. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and helpful. The rooms are a nice size and offer balconies to enjoy the wonderful weather of Zermatt. The breakfast offers many choices and is always fresh and well-made. Our balcony offered a direct look at the Matterhorn, and while it was obscured by clouds most of the time, on our final morning, it made a spectacular appearance (See photo). Put quite simply, this is how all hotels should be operated. We will be back.
