Hotel Daniela

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Convenient location. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Staff very friendly and helpful. Complimentary hotel taxi available for rail station pickup and drop off. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of food choices beautifully prepared. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay!! We were upgraded to the Alpine Roof suite with a spectacular view of the Matterhorn. The suite was huge, with 2 floors of space, including a living room on the first level and 2 bedrooms on the second. The space was very clean with a new modern feel, but still very cozy. Breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful in answering all of our questions! Would highly recommend!!

I was very happy I chose this hotel as it was a wonderful stay, from the friendly reception to Silviana, who made the best lattes at breakfast. The detail and design in the rooms is perfect. Thank you Daniela team for making us feel so welcome and pampered.

Room was great, cosy and warm. Lena and Tanya was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Services was fast and prompt. Will definitely stay in this hotel again when I am back in Zermatt

Such a beautiful hotel. The accommodations were spectacular and in an easily walkable part of town. What made our stay even more lovely was the friendly front desk staff. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. My son is a bit picky when it comes to food, so they made other food items just for him. They knew him by name and made sure he had his snacks lined up every morning. Also, you'd be crazy not to get the fresh-squeezed orange juice. Can't wait to come back.

Our family of 5 stayed at Hotel Daniela for a week over the holidays on our ski trip to Zermatt. We enjoyed everything about the hotel. The lobby is charming, nicely decorated (especially for Christmas and New Year’s). The staff is warm, professional and helpful from the driver who picked us up at the station to the front desk to the breakfast and housekeeping team. We appreciated that the hotel was close to everything so we could walk to the main streer and lifts but also a few blocks off the main part so it was quiet. We had adjoining rooms with a small, private hallway in between which made it easy with lots of ski clothing to have space. The rooms were quiet. While the property does not have its own pool (has other spa/sauna amenities) we had access to the pool at the sister property which is just a block away. In my opinion Hotel Daniela is a nice mix of charm, hospitality and comfort without any of the pretentiousness of some of the fancier hotels in town. It struck a nice balance. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel! Great for singles, couples, families. I loved that minibar was included, as well as a free shuttle to the train station. These touches made it a great stay. The breakfast was nice too, as it had a fresh orange juice squeezer. Wifi was free and worked great. Overall: Cozy, nice hotel perfect for ski trips in Zermatt!

Breakfast buffet was excellent. However the rooms were poor. Room marked as accessible had no grab bars in bathroom. Room was cramped. Couch musty, curtains not washed. Front desk was not staffed after 9 PM. Not what we expected for the price.
