Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, needed to be aired out, opened the windows for a while and everything was fine. Location was great, just across the street from the canal and boats. Parking was behind the building and cost 3€ per day. Would recommend a stay here.

Booked a 4 night stay with 2 joined rooms for vacation. Perfect location, construction did not bother us much. View was of a courtyard and walls. Was expecting the canal. Hotel is clean, could use some updating… shower needs fresh caulk….breakfast is decent and a bonus since it’s included. Staff definitely needs some refining.. instructions on air conditioning unit would be helpful at check in, microwave didn’t work ( let 2 different people know, nothing was done) card keys only worked half the time. No1 to help with luggage at check in, or check out( reception woman sat at the computer not helping anyone and watched us struggle with luggage) asked the desk for fresh towels, was given them but asked us to bring ours down. Could not call the desk from the room. When traveling for vacation it should feel like everyone is working to make your stay memorable and that was not the case at all. Would not recommend or stay again.

Very good location under 5 minutes from the action but in a quieter area. Our room was large (we had a kitchenette by surprise) and very clean with good amenities. The staff was good and helpful. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. The elevator is quite small but more than enough room for a person and their bags.

This hotel has significant building works next door. They started work at about 7.45am and concluded at 5.30pm. We were not there during the weekend and guess they wouldn’t be working then. The building noise is constant and quite loud, even with double glazed windows.||The hotel is centrally located and well maintained. Our room was a good size and the bathroom also had a bidet. The room had an air conditioner, fridge and safe. The building is serviced by 2 small elevators that are big enough for 2 people. The breakfast is quite modest with limited food selection. I did, however, appreciate the freshly squeezed orange juice. Interactions with the front desk were utilitarian and a bit distant. ||Dining options are nearby and the local supermarket we found, was about a 15 minute walk away.

we stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of Jun 2024.|PROS: |- Very good location. Steps away from the action and attractions and lots of dining and shopping. Faces the canal where all the boats ply.|Well designed, spacious and comfy rooms.|Staff (especially the front office girl named Nada goes above and beyond tomake you fell welcome not just to the hotel, but also to Aveiro. Nada went out of her way to help us with anything we asked for.|A short drive to the beach.|CONS:|Not easy to get parking. The hotel will direct you to the underground paid parking at the mall which is a 10 minutes walk . The hotel aranges for a parking pass for you which let's you go in and out of the parking lot several times. You pay for the parking at the hotel before check-out.|Breakfast is ok. Pretty basic Nothing to write home about. |Water is not drinkable, but the hotel staff help you get some filtered water.|The hotel's elevator takes only one person at a time. But you really don't need an elevator when on vacation.

The hotel is a lovely hotel off the canal. We liked the location and the staff were friendly and there’s a good breakfast. Just be prepared for small rooms and a really small elevator - as in send up the luggage and walk up or send one person at a time..: bit it has its charm and we enjoyed our night there.

Very nice hotel very centrally located. |Lovely staff.fine breakfast.|Rooms are practical and very clean.|However not mentioned before booking was the joining building was under reconstruction. So fron early morning 07.30 drills, hammering etc until the evening time.|Also located on a busy road so associated traffic noises to go with it..Our first night was at the back of the hotel so building noise was at its worse also being on the first floor above the kitchen/ breakfast area did not help with additional noise in the morning from 7am. Reception moved us for the second night.|Would go back but not until the building work is done.

In terms of view and location, perfect - in terms of getting a decent nights sleep, not great. I had a room directly above the reception/front entrance and every night people would stand out front talking, at all hours. Other rooms might be better.||Otherwise a very friendly little hotel, with a lovely breakfast buffet. Decent walking distance from the railway station, not too far at all, and very central.
