Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, 5 minutes from the Graz center, reasonable parking price and a very tasty and varied breakfast. What I liked the most was the soft and warm down bedding, perfect for winter weather. In the same building there is an additional cafe and restaurant, Steirer, where we had a delicious dinner. I would recommend it!

Location was perfect and well behaved and hardworking staff so no complaints there. However, the hotel needs some improvements. The rooms should have good quality and separate set of toiletries like moisturiser, hand-wash, shower gel, and shampoo. There should be electric water kettle tea/coffee tray set for hotel guests in the room.

Loved Graz and this hotel is in walking distance from most of we did. FANTASTIC breakfast buffet. Clean rooms, comfy beds, courteous and accommodating staff. We were in a large group and they let us take over their lounge and order in pizza one night. Would certainly stay here again.

Overrated and overpriced for what it offers. I’m quite disappointed with this hotel. However, let’s start with the positives: the location is excellent, right in the heart of Graz, offering a nice view and a quiet room. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and professional, and I’d especially like to highlight Michelle, whose professionalism and kindness truly stood out. The bed is very comfortable, and the hotel provides some useful amenities like a crib for babies, an iron, as well as access to a sauna and gym. However, for a 4-star hotel priced at around 150€ per night, these positives are quite basic and should be standard. Now for the negatives: There are no essential kits in the bathroom, no bathtub, no bathrobe or slippers (thankfully, towels were provided). There’s no teapot in the room—let alone tea, coffee, or complimentary bottled water—and even basic items like spoons are missing if you want to eat yogurt or similar. Room service was very disappointing: they simply changed the towels, emptied the trash, and tidied the bed. As I was traveling with a crawling baby, I specifically requested vacuuming the room, but this took hours, and it felt like I was asking for something extraordinary. Forget about cleaning the floors or organizing anything left on the table—they didn’t bother. And now, the absolute worst part: we had no Wi-Fi in our room for the entire week. I had to rely on roaming, which was far from ideal, especially since I need the internet for work. You can imagine how frustrating this was. When I brought it up to the staff, they said they’d look into it, but guess what? Exactly—nothing changed. At this point, the fact that there’s not even breakfast included for this price doesn’t even surprise me. To sum it up, the only real advantage of this hotel is its location. Everything else feels very basic and outdated for the price and the 4-star rating.

Staying here for 2 nights, weekend days. Very nice receptionist (Michelle) changed my room for preferred location (more spacious, and located on upper level) with no problem. Rooms are comfortable, well equipped with all you need (sleepwalkers, cosmetics, emergency tourists sets). Location of the hotel is perfect (near Kunsthaus Graz museum, close to Old Town, close to castle). Parking (discounted price for hotel guests) just in distance of 50m walk. I can truly recommend this place.

There were positives and negatives to this hotel. The location is pretty good, on the other side of the river, a somewhat more quiet area. However, there is a very large construction project taking place just outside of the hotel so the traffic and the whole area around the hotel are adversely affected. We could smell sewer gasses in the area and think that some of that seeped into the rooms as well, since our room had a strong unpleasant odor to it, a mix of old and humid building and sewer gasses. To be fair, we did not request a new room, so don't know if there are rooms that don't experience this problem. The room had a beautiful French balcony with lots of beautiful flowers, which made the view quite nice. But you couldn't open the doors because the bees and the flies would come into the room instantly, so we couldn't really air out the room.|Another positive was a very nice breakfast, a large amount of different foods, it was very rich and abundant. Kudos to the hotel for that.|The bar was not open all the time, so it was a hit or miss situation. If you wanted a coffee or a drink during certain times of day, you had to go next door.|I don't know why this hotel is rated as a 4-star hotel on Tripadvisor. It is definitely a 3-star. The room is a good size, but bare bones. Many of the 4-star hotel amenities are missing here: no coffee maker, no complimentary water, no bathrobe, slippers or toiletry kits, no ironing board. The bathroom had a magnifying makeup mirror, which was nice, and the hair drier. Also nice was a separate toilet. We didn't have much contact with the staff, but whenever we did talk to them, they were helpful and professional.|In conclusion, I don't think I would stay here again mostly because of the smell in the room and the lacking amenities, but I can see that the hotel might be a good option for those looking to stay just outside the old town.

Large and comfortable room. AC worked well as it was very hot outside. Room quiet with blackout curtains. Good bed.||Only minor criticism, shower went hot and cold.||Staff were very polite and accommodating.||As for location, excellent. Short walk to old town, Saturday market, Murinsel Café and access to the Skybar.||Graz itself is very tranquil place and was a nice surprise. Fab architecture, restaurants etc. ||Would definitely stay again.

The Weitzer is in a great location for visiting for visiting the center Graz. Staff idk pleasant and rooms are satisfactory - do not waste your money on balcony rooms - they are small and the balcony tiny. Breakfast is excellent.Avoid rooms facing north due to the ongoing tram construction. All in all the Weitzer has a great location and is reasonably priced.

Yelp
I stayed in this hotel for business purposes and am basing my review on my business requirements. The parking was easy and the location was easy to get to. This hotel is in a perfect location to explore Graz and get some traditional Austrian food, drink and scenery. The lower review is down to room facilities. The room was large and clean but missed some essentials for me. There are no tea/coffee making facilities and no iron/ironing board. The bed was large, the pillows soft and the mattress firm. Not my personal preference but i slept and felt rested. Unfortunately, the thin walls made it harder as I heard everything my neighbours did (showers, opening their wardrobe etc) The biggest problem for me was the shower, although it was really clean and modern I had problems with the water. You cannot set a consistent temperature. It would go ice cold and then scolding hot within seconds. Sometimes it would be fine, but sometimes it was hard to take a shower. I suspect it's when it others are using the water nearby. Overall my experience was okay and because I was busy I was never able to give the hotel the opportunity to fix my problems. I'm sure if I did they would have done their best as the staff were extremely friendly upon checkin and came across very helpful.

Yelp
A short walk across the river leads you to main shopping/dining part of Graz. Hotel room is small and so is the bathroom. There is a bar in this hotel. Nothing fancy but functional and clean.

Yelp
Nice hotel in a great location. Clean rooms with a decent size bed. Staff did a good job in keeping the room clean.

Yelp
I have had very good food here. We had our Christmas office dinner here and i have been there a couple of times otherwise. The service was fantastic and the food was perfect. I would love to give 5 stars but the restaurant is a bit too old fashioned for my taste, and I would rather have some interior modernization to give it 5 stars.:-)
