"Savor the South If a visit to South India isn’t on the agenda this trip, make time to get a taste of the region at this iconic restaurant chain. First started in 1921 in the south, then expanded to New Delhi and beyond in 1979, the Dasaprakash restaurants have helped introduce authentic South Indian fare to everyone from Maharajas and Mahatma Gandhi to Jackie Kennedy. Order one of the thalis to try a selection of signature items like steamed idli dumplings, dosas (lentil pancakes), vada (lentil fritters) and sambar and rasam (spicy soups to be used as condiments.) A full à la carte menu features dishes from all over the country (including tandoori-baked breads and North Indian curries), as well as tasty sides like chili-honey potatoes. Dasaprakash restaurants and cafés in northern India include several spots in the Golden Triangle, including two locations in Agra, two in Jaipur, and one in Jodhpur."

Nice reception, polite administrators! There is a hotel security guard outside who opens the doors for visitors - it is very nice and pleasant. They also helped us carry our luggage to the room. Clean, large and spacious room, comfortable bed. The room has everything you need. Good location of the hotel: there are shops nearby, restaurants are located nearby. All the windows are opaque and covered with red curtains, as far as we understood, this is for safety. To take a shower, you need to call the reception so that they turn on the water heating. The shower head in the bathroom was leaking. The prices for laundry were inflated, so we did not use it. Very nice, polite and friendly staff who respond to any request. They helped us arrange a taxi driver after checking out of the hotel. The hotel also has its own vegetarian restaurant - we really enjoyed having dinner there. Opposite the hotel there are always tuk-tuks, with which you can inexpensively arrange a trip to any part of the city. Our stay at the hotel was very good and left only positive emotions. Thank you so much!

Moderate sized room. Clean. Washroom is also clean. didn't receive hot water in night. Nat bad for overnight stay. Expansive vegeterian only restaurant in respect to quality. But they allowed us to overstay us for two hours without any extra charges.

Hot water available only on request. Don't go with breakfast option. They serve only limited items, there is no buffet BF. Rooms are very average considering price charged

Home away from home is a true statement as for as Dasaprakash Agra is concerned. Longed to have a good vegetarian south Indian food, the day 2 I was in Agra. A tourist guide suggested us this place and we wanted to try it. Oh my God! Hot, Tasty, delicious, pleasant service and everything beyond my expectations at that particular time and place. Enjoyed every bit of my meal. Thanks to the founder of the Hotel and every staff working towards the goal. Would like to visit one more time with children.
