You Can Now Stay at 22 Rue de Berri, Elsa Schiaparelli’s Legendary Parisian Address | Vogue

"The 75 room property balances a cozy, yet cultured feel. It’s filled with centuries old furniture—most of the hotel’s pieces are antiques—and over 700 works of art, from Picassos to Jean Cocteau drawings. The lobby, alone, holds over 50 statues. 'You arrive in a real Parisian atmosphere with a real Parisian feeling,' says general manager Laetitia Elmaleh. 'We wanted to make a tribute to all the personality of art in Paris.'" - Elise Taylor

I found the Hotel de Berri to be charming and unique. The hotel staff were wonderful. Shout out to April at the Concierge Desk, she was extremely helpful during our stay. Location was great. We had two rooms which were charming and fine for our purposes and size was adequate especially for Paris. Breakfast was delicious only complaint was that the restaurant was so DARK during the day, and they primarily had tiny bar type tables. There only two tables in the restaurant that would comfortably seat 3 or more people and if they were taken you had to push two of the small round tables together. Definitely not ideal for eating a meal. This would be my biggest complaint. Do realize that they only give you one large, bottled water per day. if you want additional water, they will charge you and I believe it was around 8 euros (very expensive). We drink a lot of water so had to find some convenience stores nearby for additional water. They were very responsive when my bracelet fell down the sink, sent up an engineer right away that was able to retrieve it.

Went with wife and 5 year old daughter on vacation. Incredible room and all around service. The concierge team helped us find a lovely garden restaurant and a food tour which our daughter loved. Location was perfect to see the city and we really appreciated the personal greetings in the lobby and bar. Would highly recommend it! Only drawback for us was a smaller gym and curious hours for the main restaurant which operated only at lunch (12-3 or so). The bar had great drinks and a small menu that suited us just fine and attentive, knowledgeable service. We would come back in a heartbeat! Many thanks for a lovely stay.

Overall I found this to be a solid choice for a stay in Paris. ||The strengths: |We upgraded to a suite. The room was spacious and clean. The butler was very kind, helpful, and attentive. The most important aspect of the stay to me is the room being clean comfortable and amenable to sleep and the hotel met all of those needs. Overall a very luxurious feel. ||The location is great. Close to everything yet in a side street so very quiet. ||Weakness: |One morning we had booked an early tour of Notre Dame. We simply did not have time to dine at the hotel restaurant. There is a wonderful little shop across the street that sells breakfast sandwiches to go and coffee (no real seating) We went there and then brought them back. In the hotel lobby there are tables and seats that overlook the street. My husband and I started to eat them there and quickly a hotel staff person - perhaps a manager? Came running over and scolded us. He told us we should not be eating outside food there because they had their own restaurant but he would allow us to finish “just this one time” and said - literally - what we did amounted to “treason”!!! It was way over the top. We spent a lot of money to stay in a nice hotel in Paris. Please don’t scold me like a child. Place a sign making that clear rather than scold me. ||Also there is a courtyard visible from our room and from the restaurant. They perhaps are starting to do some work on it but it’s not very well groomed. Sort of an eye sore||Summary |Overall a good luxury hotel.

On Thursday, I told the front desk there are a bunch of wet towels sitting on the floor of the stairwell that have been there since Tuesday. They told me it was for the “water damage” to the hotel that I can now ascertain is entirely true, due to the black mold that has been steadily spreading in the stairwell since Tuesday. They have done nothing to address the issue in 5 days. Now the drywall is separating from the ceiling and the black mold is becoming alarmingly more visible. I work in hotels and have never seen a hotel completely ignore a critical issue to the building that impacts guest safety and the integrity of the space.||The carpet of our room and the condition of our room is horrible. The crisper barely works. I would bet my life that the carpet has never been cleaned. I have never seen a carpet this filthy, and it’s separating from the wall with strings and plywood that is visible. This sounds like hyperbole, but I’m fully serious. ||There is also black mold and rust in my shower. ||The food and beverage team is clueless. The bar is pretty to look at but that is IT. They admitted to us on Tuesday they had no bartender. Who made my martini? I have no idea. I don’t think they hire bartenders. Asking for an un-oaked Chablis in FRANCE sent two people into a tailspin. They have no idea what they are doing. When calling for a bucket of ice the phone rings and rings and rings and rings.||Coffee creamer is too much of a luxury to give to housekeeping. You have to ask the front desk for your in room coffee maker to get refilled with coffee creamer. ||Also our king bed is two twin beds pushed together. When I roll to the middle I’m met with a stiff rod or something that holds the beds together. This place is shameful and pathetic. Marriott should pull the luxury flag. It wouldn’t pass as a residence inn in the states. I’ve never left a review like this in my life, but this place is fully deserving. Be warned. ||Each time housekeeping comes to the room, they turn off the AC. Like it’s actually miserable to be here. ||Mark at the front desk is the singular bright highlight of an otherwise insufferable stay. Mark- thank you for being you.

If you’re heading to Paris, Hôtel de Berri, a Luxury Collection Hotel (part of Marriott Bonvoy) is an absolute must-stay.||||Our king room was spacious, quiet, and beautifully appointed—with plush bedding, elegant finishes, and thoughtful touches throughout. The hotel’s design is truly stunning, blending classic Parisian charm with bold, contemporary art and rich textures that give the entire space a unique and sophisticated feel.||||From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional. A special shoutout to the concierge team, who delivered top-tier recommendations and made every request feel effortless.||||The location is ideal—just steps from the Champs-Élysées, close to high-end shopping, great restaurants, and iconic sights, but tucked away on a quiet street that feels like a private oasis in the city.||||Additional highlights:|| • Beautiful courtyard and garden area|| • Luxurious marble bathrooms|| • Excellent in-room amenities|| • Stylish lobby and lounge spaces||||This property checks every box—and then some. Whether you’re a Marriott Bonvoy member or just looking for an unforgettable stay in Paris, this hotel delivers on every level. Can’t wait to return!

We recently took a trip to Paris and spent 10 nights at the fabulous Hotel De Berri. The hotel was beautiful and each room had its own decor and personality. They were truly stunning. We enjoyed our time there very much and were made to feel right at home by the hotel’s incredible staff. Every encounter with the staff was wonderful. They helped us at every turn and pointed us in the right direction whenever we needed anything. Stephane, Dario, Dimitri, and Laure were some of the beautiful people we spoke to most often. They were amazing and so helpful with all of our needs. We felt so taken care of and looked after for the entire 10 days. I would highly recommend this hotel and getting to know some of their staff while you are there. The restaurant inside the hotel is also fabulous. One of the best meals we had while we were in Paris. Thank you so much to the 4 of you and all the other staff we encountered during our stay. You were magnificent and we hope to be back.

Would give this 0 stars on rooms and service if I could. We arrived on a Thursday, we had no remote in the room and noticed on Friday morning water all on the bathroom floor around the toilet. We told the front desk before we went out for the day on Friday. When we returned, we still had no remote, and after first flush toilet leaked water again. They didn’t fix the toilet, just cleaned the water up. It was unusable for our stay. We finally got a remote to turn the TV off after the 3rd time on Friday evening. Left on Saturday and went elsewhere. Don’t waste your money, so many better hotels in Paris with better service and working rooms. The location is good. As far as amenities, the spa was under construction, the bar closes at 10, and the gym is a treadmill, bike, rower, and stairmaster. Not a single weight. At $900 a night you can do so so much better.

We had such an amazing experience at The Berri! Everything was top-quality, from the first email to check-out. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs (Sonia was particularly kind!). We had breakfast in our room, and we could truly appreciate the attention to detail (the homemade granola was the best I’ve ever had) in providing a luxury experience. The food at their restaurant was also great! Not to mention the location, just a 3-minute walk from the Champs-Élysées. 10/10! I would definitely recommend staying there!

Yelp
Hotel is pretty and location is great, but overall we had a very underwhelming experience. The refrigerator was not cold in the room and the mini-bar was not restocked. There was an issue with the sink and toilet constantly ran super loud. We asked multiple times for our room to be cleaned and it wasn't. We are Bonvoy Platinum and feel that we should receive a high level of service especially seeing the hotel room was very expensive. This was not anywhere close to a five star hotel, safe your money and go elsewhere where they actually care about the customer!

Yelp
Bonjour! We celebrated our anniversary in Paris, the city of love. For our stay, we chose the hotel Hotel de Berri. Here's what we loved about it... Great location. Short walk from Champs Elysees Quiet and clean Air conditioning Heated towel bar The best bidet with a heated seat Friendly and helpful concierge and staff Charming hotel restaurant This is a Marriott property. I would describe the decor as modern, eclectic and a bit avant-garde. If we return to Paris, I'd definitely stay here again. It offered us everything we hoped for and more! Merci beaucoup, Hotel de Berri!

Yelp
Really love Hotel de Berri. Superb location, wonderful and attentive staff. Marriott luxury. Cool lobby and bar, fabulous junior suites. One of the best hotel experiences I've had anywhere in the world. Highly recommend for a luxury Paris experience. Added a lot of enjoyment to my 3 day experience in the city this trip. Concierge can arrange tours, drivers and reservations for you. They helped us organize a last-minute visit to Monet's Garden in Giverney. Brilliant.

Yelp
This hotel was both beautiful and very well placed. The staff was unbelievable with their friendly and helpful ways each and everyday! They were professional and welcoming with every request we had. The food in the restaurant was delicious and always delivered to our room very timely and with the extra touch of care. I could not more highly recommend this hotel for any Paris stay. When we return, it will be high on our list!!

Yelp
My favorite hotel in Paris. Not only is it classy, luxurious and artistic, the people are incredibly nice and service oriented. Our room was so stunning I took photos as inspiration for when I go home. Every detail was carefully thought out, each room is designed differently and we had a garden room which looked out to a stunning, natural garden providing perfect privacy. The food in the restaurant was delicious--pastries, fresh squeezed juices, coffees and espressos, eggs Benedict was cooked to perfection! I simply cannot rave about this hotel and our experience more, it has moved to the top of my list and we will definitely be back for more. Je'taime Hotel de Berri, merci!

Yelp
Amazing experience! To the waitress in the restaurant - the bath & body works mist is "into the night"!

Yelp
We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel de Berri. Great location, great room and most impressive was the amazing staff, especially the conceirge team of Geoffrey and Maxime, they went above and beyond for us! We had a larger room which was perfect for our family of 5. Such a great city and hotel. Thank you!

Yelp
Location is great. Rooms are very high tech with a lot of automation but the sound proofing is aweful and the overall decor is inauthentic and Disneyland like. Service is great. Would not book again especially given the price.

Yelp
Fantastic hotel! I've been traveling around the world (twice!) for the last 5 months and ended my lengthy trip in Paris. I tried the nearby Marriott, but they were booked; so went with Hotel de Berri....WOW! The staff are spectacular, and the rooms are out of this world. I've stayed in MANY hotels, and this is my favorite by far. Not cheap, but amazing service and accommodations never are. Can't wait to come back! Thank you to all the staff, particularly Marine.

Yelp
First time in Paris, the staff did an excellent job in serving and address any question. I selected this hotel due to the location, it's within distance from shopping and major tourist site. The room was already prepared with a baby crib which in nice. The bathroom and the toilet are separated with thick wall between them. The room are filled with technology from the mirror tv to the curtains which control by the iPad. High recommend if you are in Paris.
