We stayed at Hotel Blanke Top in Cadzand for the second time, this time to celebrate my father’s birthday with our 8-month-old baby. We had a Sky Room and the Senior Wellness Suite, both in excellent condition and with direct sea views. The only downside was the balcony of the Senior Suite, which faces the neighboring building. However, from the bed you can still enjoy an unobstructed sea view through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
The hotel helped us organize a birthday cake, which worked out perfectly. At check-out our son even received a small teddy bear as a gift, which was a very kind gesture.
We dined twice at Le Sommet, once with the set menu and once à la carte. The food was good, though not outstanding. Service was a bit slow. Breakfast was very good, and the views from both the restaurant and the rooms are great.
We especially appreciate the direct beach access and the underground parking garage with plenty of charging stations. A small drawback is that the nearest supermarket is about a 15-minute walk away, and only one bottle of water per room is provided daily, although we received more on request.
All in all, it was a very pleasant stay, and we look forward to coming back.
