We’ve been traveling all over France for over two weeks. This 4 star hotel is the worst out of 6 hotels we stayed. By all standards it’s not even close to 3. Besides location there is nothing positive about it. Very spartan style with bad sewer smell. Terrible internet service.No phone in the room to get in touch with reception. You have to use your cell with international charges. No fridge, no sleepers, no robes, no shower caps!!! Towels have seen better days big time. Very small size and grey color!!!! I don’t understand how this hotel has 4 stars. Travel with 2 other couples and they feel the same. We wouldn’t not recommend this hotel!!!!!

We were really happy with out stay here. There is secure (uncovered) parking available but you are advised to book ahead (just contact the hotel and ask them). They are dog friendly, we had our two pups with us. As other people have commented, the staff here are very friendly and helpful and so make the stay that bit more pleasant! The location is perfect right on the edge of the old town, there is also a lovely park nearby which the dogs loved.

Junior suite spacious. Good shower, despite supposed low water pressure. Plug in basin broken. Stains on carpet and arm on armchair frayed(minor points). Bed comfortable and air con worked well. Breakfast okay. There is a garden to sit in on a sunny day. Reception was a bit chaotic. They asked me to pay, even though I had already paid in advance and they had no idea how to operate the bar. Room was quiet and situation was handy for the station and the town.

Very good location, opposite the pedestrian zone and a few minutes walk from a large park. Parking is immediately behind the hotel. Dog-friendly. Lots of restaurants, shops, etc. nearby. Staff were friendly. Check-in was quick and check-out was just a matter of dropping off the key card.

From the first class Receptionist who made great restaurant recommendations and reservations, to the room with everything, literally everything you would want a room to be either overnight or for a short break. Safe secure car park, close to all local city centre amenities. Definitely a place that goes in my book as a place to book when next travelling through France, especially when you want to avoid the bedlam noise of Lyon.

I am very grateful to the housekeeping staff who serviced my room after my departure, and noted the Front Desk staff that I had left my jacket. The Front Office staff notified me, MailBoxes arranged for its delivery to my home, and I thank everyone for the excellent service. Very happy to have my jacket back. Everything about our stay was excellent.

Whoever reviews the star rating system of hotel needs to visit this place again because it is two stars at most. If I had know that- it would have been… fine. But even then, very dirty carpet and moldy shower… had to rebook a room at any other hotel for the one night we had booked. Again, if you’re looking for a cheap place with a convenient location and don’t care about much else, this will do. But not really for adults who value their comfort.

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel; the price, the location, the staff, the room quality and comfort. Parking was secure and private behind the hotel, checking in was easy and the staff so professional and welcoming (even for non-French speaking folks like me) and the rooms were absolutely perfect. I'll be back in Valence and I'll only stay here. This was a great experience and provided the perfect opportunity to explore the city and find the best places to eat.
