Hotel de Francia y París

The hotel is well maintained and sparkling clean in all public areas as well as in the room. I found the room practically furnished: there were an armchair, a desk with a chair, a fridge, a kettle (with complimentary tea but no coffee) and comfortable bathroom with a tub. The breakfast was lovely with coffee specialties, juices and lots of options in terms of food. The check in staff was very friendly and multilingual. I appreciated the possibility to leave my luggage in their storage for a couple of hours.

The hotel is located in the city center, which is very convenient. The room is spacious and clean; however, the Wi-Fi is extremely poor and barely works at all, which was very frustrating. There is no coffee machine in the room — only a kettle for heating water for tea. Additionally, the refrigerator had a very strong and unpleasant smell, which clearly indicates it needs proper cleaning. Overall, the hotel does not meet high standards and deserves no more than 3 stars at best.

The hotel is centrally located in the heart of the city of Cadiz. Close to many shops and restaurants.The room is quite spacious and comfortable in general with a simple furniture. The bathroom is modern but the shower is not isolate the whole floor will get wet after a shower. They should have a door in the shower. One downside is that It is hard to find if you are arriving by car. The hotel should provide clear information on how to get there by car.

The only good thing about this hotel is that this hotel has a fantastic location, right in the heart of things, and the rooms are comfortable, well-sized, and well soundproofed. you don’t hear the square at night if you head to bed early. Unfortunately, the staff really let it down. They were verging on rude, often disinterested, and one lady seemed glued to her phone most of the time. Security also felt lax, as people seemed to wander in unchecked. Housekeeping wasn’t great either.. dirty cups and used items were sometimes left behind in the room. The biggest disappointment was breakfast. Honestly, avoid it. it’s not worth the money when there are much better cafés nearby. Overall, great location and comfortable rooms, but the service needs serious improvement and the decor dated, but other than that, it’s sleep able!

Nice hotel in a great location but the room was sooooooo hot I found it very hard to sleep, they said the ac was not turned on yet.

They do not have sleepers in the rooms. Breakfast is just OK. For what I paid its not a great value.

I've just spent a very enjoyable 10 nights here. For the price paid, this is a great value hotel in a very central location. My room and bathroom were serviced every day and were kept spotless. The decor and furnishings are all modern and comfortable. My room overlooked the pretty Plaza San Francisco with it's orange trees and great restaurants. The inclusive breakfast was simple but ample and can be eaten outside in warmer weather. All the staff I encountered were super friendly. A great stay and I'm happy to recommend it.

Very well located hotel right in the heart of this lovely old city. My room and bathroom are spotlessly clean and tidy. My window overlooks a lovely ( and lively ) little plaza with bars, restaurants and flamenco playing guitarists! The inclusive breakfast is taken in the public bar / cafè downstairs and is basic but sufficient. I'm loving my time here and would happily return!
