Hôtel de Guise - Nancy - Proche Place Stanislas

Spent one night here but would have enjoyed longer. The hotel is nothing special from the outside, but is beautiful and retains the perfect blend of original features with modern comfort. We were warmly welcomed by a very helpful young man at reception, and our room on the first floor was lovely - marble fireplace, high ceilings, painted panels with water, safe, plenty of space and a very comfortable bed with great pillows and linen. The shower room was ingeniously located behind mirrors, and all very good. Breakfast was also plentiful and very good. The hotel is located a few minutes' walk from Stanislas Square, although the central pedestrianised zone means you have to park elsewhere. Overall, a very comfortable stay for a reasonable price, and can definitely recommend.

Hôtel de Guise.   The personnel, Adam, Vincent, Nathan, Manon we all very helpful, kind and full of information. Especially Adam who checked us in. He gave us directions to the main attractions,    dinner  recommendations and made us feel welcome . He is perfect for his customer service role. Our room was romantic   the bed and pillows very comfortable. The room very quiet for a relaxing night sleep. The air-conditioning so quiet you could not hear it. The breakfast was delicious with all the food that we needed.  The location perfectly located near many restaurants and public transportation.  Don't let the exterior fool you the interior is beautiful. Most important,  the staff made our stay very special. Thank You for such a memorable stay.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location! We loved staying here for 1 night. The hotel was clean and charming with good amenities and air conditioning. The location was perfect because it was walking distance from the train station and from the main square.

Very nice hotel conveniently located in the historic city centre. The rooms are comfortable and quite large. The only small inconvenience is getting to the hotel and parking: not very convenient, if you arrive by car. Very friendly staff.

Excellent Hotel. Love the old world style. We stayed in a quadruple room, which served our one night stay with kids perfectly. Room was clean, bathroom was smart. Breakfast was typically French and very good. Staff were friendly and spoke English well.

Great hotel in a quiet part of the old town. Had the largest room at the first floor, which was lovely and super clean. Nancy might be my favorite town in France, hope to return and definitely book at this hotel again. Thank you!

Way finding signage throughout the city made it easier to navigate once that was noticed. No on site parking, but there was a paid parking park about a block or two down. Friendly staff. Key pad to enter the hotel at 9 pm (so long as you have checked in initially). Location felt centrally located to all the shopping, resturants, bars, and all the historical locations. Easy walkable to everything of Nancy. The room was overall clean, and soaps were provided. Shower seams appeared to have mold residue. But minor for short stay - company probably doesn't realize it. It is an old building, but a little scraper and new sealer, be good to go. We skipped breakfast as the price was far too costly for what they were serving. If you're in a wheelchair or other accessibility requirements, this place won't be for you (stairs everywhere. No elevator).

Stayed here while on a road trip with 8 friends in 7 rooms in July 2024.||First off the staff. check in was fast and easy. We had breakfast here and the restaurant were attentive and polite. ||Rooms are clean and tidy with nice bathrooms and decorated really nicely in traditional themes. ||Unlimited bottled water is available from receptions. ||Location is superb, right in the centre of Nancy but is in the pedestrian area, so parking is a little way away. We used an underground car park ab out 850m away which even overnight was very cheap. ||Breakfast was A La Carte with waiter service. Good selection.
