After spending months reseaching areas and hotels to stay in Paris, I selected this hotel based on location, room amenities and photos provided on the website for a classic double room. I could not have been more wrong and disappointed. Our stay for 2 people was for 3 nights and when we arrived there was a small desk that was not staffed so felt very uncomfortable arrival. Our room was not ready so we came back later the afternoon to a room that could barely fit 2 people and should have been for 1 person. There was not enough room on the floor for a suitcase let along 2. very dim and a small window. I spoke with the staff the next morning and said I was surely booked into the wrong class of room and was not happy. Staff showed me a room that would be ready later that day and was a completely different size room. We packed up and moved rooms. the fact that the rates of the rooms were all 3 different from 285, 365, 435 euros was ABSOLUTELY not worth it.|We opted not to have breakfast each day but on the last day before checking out, we decided to partake. For 20 euros per person, we were lucky to get a luke warm cup of coffee and a nice breakfast. Should have skipped and gone to the corner cafe.|The staff was not rude but not very inviting either. Sometimes the desk and cafe area were staffed with a person and sometimes you had to wait.|Upon checkout I was questioned about having breakfast more than one day which was the last resort of a very questionable stay. |Bottom line is great location in Le Marais but the hotel is not even up to a 3 star rating.

This hotel is a true gem in every way. I worry that telling everyone just how great it is will increase demand and cause a rise in prices! Try to keep this to yourselves and people you like: you will love it here. The rooms are classy and beautiful. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The lounge is fantastic. The location is ideal (you can walk everywhere, and you're located in a real neighborhood where real people live).

We had an unexpected extension of our Paris trip, and the hotel that we were in had no rooms. They helped us make a reservation at Hotel de JoBo where we got the last available room. Although the room was very small, few Parisian rooms are large. It was similar to a ship stateroom. The king sized bed was amazingly comfortable, and the shower was one of the best we had on the trip. Last thing about the room, it was a double standard, because that was all they had. I'm assuming that the double superior would be roomier. The decor was unique.||||The 2 best things about the hotel are the location and the people who work there.

I have stayed at JOBO many times over the past few years, and there’s a reason that I keep returning. The service is excellent. The location is hard to beat if you want something in the center of Le Marais. The interior design is very cool giving the hotel a very unique vibe - I would say it’s bordello-chic. It’s the perfect hotel for a romantic getaway. ||

Google
What I liked: The thoughtful, tasteful, and the meaningful design of the hotel. The simplicity of the room, yet the fact that nearly everything that I needed was somewhere to be found in the relatively small space, but without jeopardizing the "flow" of the room and making it feel cluttered. How welcomed I felt, and how clean the room was. Last but not least, Sandra, a thoughtful and attentive gem and the perfect embodiment of JOBO.

Google
The best boutique hotel in the Marais. Service is second to none. Highest quality. Everyone you run into there is happy to be there. Beautiful rooms. Access to everything you need. Affordable. Stay here but DO NOT tell anyone else about it. Cyril and Katherine were both exceptionally helpful. Badass place.

This was our second stay at the hotel and it was just as wonderful as our first visit. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and the hotel definitely has a romantic/sexy vibe. The location makes it easy to walk anywhere and we enjoyed sitting outside having wine and cheese.

Google
This is a lovely boutique hotel in Marais, close to many must see destinations, cafes and shopping. Cabs are available a block away. As most Paris hotels, the rooms are small, a luggage rack would have been helpful. Also there are a few cafes on the street so there is some noise in the evening. I would not bother with the breakfast as there are many cafes only a block away that serve à la carte for less money. The staff is attentive and kind. Enjoy your stay!

Yelp
Lovely boutique hotel with great amenities. Staff are lovely and courteous. Located nicely in the Marais. Only issue was our room was dark with poor lighting. That would not keep us from returning. Oh, and their breakfast spread and bar are a good way to start and end your day.

Yelp
Amazing hospitality. Fantastic location right out of the Saint Paul metro where there's a Saturday flea market. Our jr suite on the 4th floor was spacious and quaint. Breakfast and bar was aesthetically pleasurable in so many ways... sumptuous breakfasts... great soaking tub. Monia was gracious and excellent at hosting. Especially appreciated my birthday balloons and chocolates!! Merci!!

Yelp
Hotel de Jobo has Parisian chic oozing from every pore, and it's located in Marais central. Those of you who call shopping a profession, look no further. I stop in to the Jobo for a cold drink on hot days, a hot drink on cold days, and a café on slow days. It is gorgeous, and everyone I send to the Hotel de Jobo is enthralled. With design reminiscent of the iconic Jacques Garcia, the Jobo is charming and lovely. I don't need hotels in Paris, but everyone who visits calls Jobo home. It is quintessentially Paris.

Yelp
I took my mother on her first trip to Continental Europe in Oct 2023. We stayed at this hotel during our 5 days in Paris and had a wonderful experience! First of all, the location is wonderful--in the heart of the Marais. The church of Saint-Paul-Saint-Louis (and corresponding metro stop) were just around the corner, making it easy to explore the city and find our way back home! The hotel staff were all very friendly, helpful, and so welcoming upon our entry into the breakfast room each morning and upon our return to the hotel each evening. Cyril was especially warm and helpful with his advice on restaurants and activities. The staff also researched and advised on the best travel option for Lourdes, which was our next destination, and they arranged a taxi to get us to the train station on time for a very early departure. The hotel itself is fun and lovely--it was meticulously appointed and clean, and we loved our feminine room with pink and animal print accents! The breakfast each morning was fantastic and sharing it together in such a lovely room was a perfect way for me and my mother to begin each day. We have very special memories of our stay and we will be back!

Yelp
I will never stay anywhere else. We are anxious to get back as soon as possible! Laure, Cyril, and Catherine are beyond amazing. This hotel is as quintessential Parisien as one could possibly imagine. The rooms aren't huge - but then, this is Paris. Why are you in the room at all? Terrific location and everywhere we turned it was as though we were in our own fairy tale. the tapas bar across the street was delightful. Breakfast at the hotel was perfection. We picked this hotel at random and I can't imagine anyplace better. As noted...we are going back! As soon as possible. Hmmm.... Christmas shopping in Paris is looking very likely! Do yourself a favor...stay at JoBo!

Yelp
I loved staying in this funky chic boutique hotel. My husband found this gem online, and we stayed here during our quick trip to Paris. The staff is kind, helpful, and accommodating. They made an error on our room the first night. We paid for a bigger room and got placed in a smaller room. To be honest, we didn't even catch the mistake, but they did. They immediately moved us to the bigger room the following day, and even deducted the price for the first night. I LOVE the history behind the hotel. I love the wild wall paper and decor, and I found it to be fabulous. The hotel is in a fabulous part of France, and it's not too far from great restaurants and shopping. I hope to return to within the next year! I love this place!

Yelp
THE BEST hotel I've ever stayed in. The service was impeccable. Location was great. The grounds and rooms are like a museum! Feels like you need to pay to walk in. The bar outlooks the street and the patio is an absolute landmark. My boyfriend and I cannot wait to be back! Thank you again, Hotel de Jobo!

Yelp
Hotel de JoBo greatly exceeded all expectations! It's a small, lavish hotel fit for Napoleon himself! I've stayed at hundreds and hundreds of high end hotels, and none have given the impeccable attention to detail and service as Hotel de JoBo! When you enter, you walk through a small secret garden-looking patio, where I lounges multiple times a day! It barely made me want to leave the grounds! The location was unbeatable, and the cost was amazing! I will recommend JoBo to anyone and everyone visiting Paris and can't imagine staying anywhere else on a return trip!

Yelp
Nice boutique hotel and Claire gets 100 stars fir being the best host. Hot water out one day and our timing effected our experience with fireman's ball until 5 am next door one night. Music played both days prior in day time affecting our turn around fir time zone. Toilet seat in rose room is not quite fitting toilet. Beautiful place- expensive- so frustrating without sleep for price. I think on any other time, it would be perfect. We will return one last night in a few weeks.

Yelp
Loved this hotel! It's full of funky wallpaper and colorful carpets. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are perfection. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The best part is that it's located in Le Marais with great shopping and tons of wonderful restaurants and cafes near by. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
