Hôtel de la Couronne - Riquewihr Colmar

Very nice and cosy hotel in the centre of Riquewhir. The hotel has it’s own large parking place (€6 per day) with spaces for charging electric cars. Staff very friendly and helpful. Authentic old building, our room was on the top floor (4 floors by spiral staircase). This is also advertised on their website (there still are people cpmplaining about this 😔). Room was neat and clean, very good bed, accurate heating, spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast wasn’t overwhelming but with enough items to choose from and all very fresh. Sometimes less is better! When you step out of the hotel you are standing in the centre of the town, everything can be done by foot. Now with the Christmas market going on it is very advisable to make reservations for lunch/dinner. All in all we had a great few days here and definately would return.

Sweet ancient hotel in the centre of charming Riquewihr. Our booking for a double room was upgraded to a suite on the top floor with two rooms. Only reachable by stairs, but no problem. Good bathroom. Also, parking is excellent, with a large parking area next door. Friendly management.||But the hotel and presumably the whole of Riquewihr is ruined as an overnight destination by the fact that the protestant church in the centre insists on chiming its very loud bells right through the night, not only on the hours but on the quarters. You might as well have an autoroute going through the centre of the village. We barely got any sleep. Until Riquewihr fixes this very big problem, don’t stay overnight.

Beds are super comfortable, dog is welcome, winding stair is not easy to take. Room a bit small, but ok for 1 night. Hotel is very old, but the rooms and bathroom are modern. parking is possible next to the hotel, in the center of the village (6€).

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Riquewihr, right next to a fantastic local bakery. We stayed in a one-bedroom unit and were very pleased with our choice. The room was a comfortable size and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.||While the hallway felt a bit dated, the room itself was modern—especially the bathroom. We had a lovely view over the rooftops of the city, which gave the feeling of stepping back in time.||I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting the region.

The hotel is located within the town walls,is best accessed by the plan given by the hotel, the small streets can be a bit crowded, our rooms were a bit dnall but extremely clean and tidy, ample sized bathroom, its a very old property, large beams.|The staff were very helpful, at check in and at breakfast. Bar was good too.|We were asked for breakfast options at check in, breakfast was very good, boiled eggs as a hot.|Riquewihr is a lovely village, staying within the walls is great as the streets get quieter as the day tourists go.

The location is perfect for starting your sightseeing adventures. The staff is very friendly and supportive. The standard room retains an old charming style and is a good choice for two people looking to stay one night. We decided to have breakfast in the hotel, and it was the right choice. The breakfast was delicious and enjoyed in a beautiful atmosphere.

Well located in a beautiful, ancient building. Parking on site. Service was exceptionally good. Room was absolutely fine with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great. Recommended.

Charmfull Hotel located Just in the center of Riquewihr, in an historical Building perfectly renovated with style & charm. Rooms & bathrooms very clean and confortabile. Reception staff very friendly and helpfull.
