Hôtel de la Couronne - Riquewihr Colmar

We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel de la Couronne and I would especially like to thank Maciej for his exceptional kindness and hospitality. He helped us with everything we needed, resolving an issue quickly and with great care. His warm attitude truly lifted our spirits — something that meant a lot to me during this special trip with my mother to such a charming town. We were given a spacious room with a lovely view, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious — especially the freshly baked croissants. The whole atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and full of character. I warmly recommend this place and will gladly return!

Fantastic everything. In heart of town, own car park. Rooms are beautiful and very clean. Staff are excellent and very helpful. Great breakfast. Would definitely return 🤩

The hotel is in the very center of Riquewihr, in a quiet street. It has a vast parking space. The hotel is full of charm, the rooms are with exposed wooden parts on the ceiling. Huge bathroom with all necessary facilities. Very good breakfast with a rich buffet. Friendly and professional staff.

Beautifully situated in the center of the old medieval city. The rooms were comfortable, although the shower in my opinion was a bit dangerous. It was high to step into, a bit slippery, and nothing to grab on too. The breakfast buffet was good, although cost of parking and breakfast buffet we’re not mentioned at the time of check-in. Service was OK, though not overly friendly compared to other locations we’ve stayed on this two week European trip.

The hotel is not worth even 1 star. If you are tourist it’s enough to have 1 hour walk around all city and stay in Colmar at a better prive and service. Terrible service! The reception is blaming booking that there are wrong pictures and information about the room. I have reserved a room with one bed and a bath better comfort room I’ve got a room with two small beds and shower and at the reception they said that the pictures on booking are not reflecting the real room. The room nr.16 had a strong unpleasant smell. There is nothing in the room, no water, no fridge, no any toiletries. Only fixed soap and shower gel. In the evening we asked if they have omelette for the breakfast, receptionist said yes, of cause in the morning the staff at the breakfast said there are only boiled egg.

Center location, parking on site are the best. It is a walk up hotel and the people there very friendly and help to carry the luggages. Beds are comfortable, breakfast was good. The only one thing that I would not consider for the future was that no air conditioning in the room and the window is small and facing back without wine source. During my visit was 30C+ that we couldn’t sleep well. I would avoid hot day to stay there.

The Hotel de La Couronne is in an excellent location, is a historic building with lots of character, yet is comfortable and efficient.

Loved this property! 100% will visit again and again, bringing visitors next time. Dog friendly. Exceptional bedding, great bathroom, with fan for air circulation. Steep spiral stairs to many rooms. If you have mobility challenges, let the front desk know. I did not see an elevator.
