Hotel Croix-Fédérale

A hotel with lots of character, we love the woodwork, the bathrooms , except one of the stalls the showerhead kept falling. Otherwise very comfortable for the grandmother the two active boys and couple. Highly recommend the view the village spectacular. We are Swiss and proud to show off our beautiful country.

Very cute hotel, lovely rooms wurh modern bathrooms, very clean. Great location and great breakfast buffet. Loved our stay here. It’s also very quiet at night for a good sleep.

The hotel is very cozy, very old and authentic Swiss like. Inside the two buildings you can see some of the things that were used long ago like some old metal pints, skiis, sledges etc. There are three restaurants within the hotel. We had pizzas from real wood burning oven. They were the best ones we had in a long time. Rooms are cozy and comfortable with a lot of wood and stone decor. Breakfast is abundant and fits everyones needs. There is also a machine which males fresh orange juice! All in all beautiful two buildings renovated in a unique style mixed with contemporary design and old swiss alpine wood decor. Definitely worth visiting either for dinning or staying and enjoying a weekend in Leukerbad.

In our "hotel-package" was a cabletrain ride for 4 people(season ended before arrivement..). I wont go further in details, because we are very unhappy with further agreements we did not recieve. First and last time here.

The family room is small but exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, rated a 10. However, the highlight of our stay was the breakfast. There were many options, and unlike the typical continental breakfast we’ve encountered at other European hotels, this one also offered selections from other continents—a pleasant and unexpected surprise for us.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience. We knew ahead of time that some the rooms would be a little bit cramped by modern standards - after all, the building is hundreds of years old - but we found them comfortable and the recent renovations tasteful, and we loved the historical feel. The location is perfect, a quick walk from the bus terminal and close to all the activities the city has to offer. The staff (esp. Diana) were very kind to us, allowing us to check in early and leave bags on premises after checking out while also offering some great suggestions on how to spend our time in Leukerbad. Our stop here was one of the highlights of our time in Switzerland. I would definitely recommend it!

Food was good, however surprising to see how empty the restaurant was, only one other table. Most disappointed to be told that even having ordered wine and soft drinks we were told that they would not give us a jug of water, we had to buy mineral water.

Wonderful tiny hotel in the middle of Leukerbad, perfect for a little romantic getaway. We got a coupon on a gift site and with two nights and a breakfast with two days of alpine spa which is just next door. We've loved it. There were some issues with the wifi, it didn't quite work for most of the time and we didn't find an electrical socket next to the bed, but that didn't bother us, because we came to the mountains to relax. Breakfast buffet was just delicious and fresh. The owner is very proactive and speaks a lot of languages,and was always attuned and asked us what our needs were. The location is perfect for all seasons, highly recommend.
