Hôtel De La Herse d'Or

The location is in a great area - very walkable with cafes and restaurants nearby. Close subway station which was nice coming from the airport. The room was very large, very clean, and quiet at night. Very friendly staff, one of my favorite hotels I stayed at in Paris

Recently visited for two nights with my sister and mum and we all agreed the hotel was excellent! Super friendly and helpful staff, extremely clean, in a fab location near Le Marais and all the shops we wanted to go to. Also loved their storage facility which allowed us to stow our suitcases for free all day before our Eurostar back. Already planning to come back in December!

Hotel is fine, great value for money, location is good right beside the metro stop. Rooms are abit small and you can hear a lot in the corridor. Friendly check in staff.

Great place to stay near the Bastille memorial & metro station! Lots of restaurants and shops on this street for daily conveniences. The receptionist team are so kind and friendly, and the room was perfect for my single person stay! Thank you so much for hosting me for my dream vacation. I hope to come back someday again :)

Service was spectacular and the rooms were clean and modern. The person at the front desk was very helpful and kind. I will definitely be back!

Cute little room for one. Didn’t spend too much time inside of the room, but every time I returned the sheets were changed, the bed made, the garbage emptied and there were new towels. Also, the hotel is super close to Bastille so there’s a lot to do and the metro is also very close.

The reason I'm giving a 3 star is because the rooms don't have indepedent AC/heat control. Heat was set to high and woke up sweaty every morning, which isn't great. Also, the shower doesn't have a door for some reason. However, the staff were really friendly and helpful, and the location was great.

Overall stay was wonderful! |We stayed here with my family for one night from Geneva and it was great. Location was good. It was closed to Saint Paul’s Church and Bastille Church. There are a lot of stores, pharmacy, boulangeries, patisseries and metro nearby. Very close to bus stops too. It is 30 minutes away from the hotel to Eiffel tower. Arc de Triumphe, Gallery Lafayette, La Louvre museum. It will take more than an hour to walk to the main attraction places but it was worth the walk as there are a lot of things to see and explore around. The hotel was good. You have to push the buzzer before you can get in the premises. The receptionist will give you a room card, access to the front door and more instructions. Ice is available just ask someone at the lobby. They also have vending machines for quick snacks and breakfast is also served at the lobby you just have to pay extra also city tax will be ask to pay upon checking in. Elevator and stairs is accessible. Hotel staffs are friendly and accomodating. The room hallway is narrow but the room is a descent size with nice french windows and quiet room. 2 beds are available one queen size and a single bed for a family is pretty descent. Washrooms and room is very clean. Kettle, hairdryer and airconditioned room is available. I highly recommend this hotel for future stays.

The room was clean and it was a successful place to sleep and leave. However, they do not let you have more than one pillow or towel per person(hair, face, if you spill something, nope). They don't supply soap so bring your own! It felt very much like a cheap air b&b. But for the price you are paying I feel they could do more. We even said we don't need our sheets changed and they said "we will see what they want to do". The morning guy wasn't the greatest with communication and made us upset more than once with his lack of communication and overall respect to us being tourists.

This is the best cheap hotel option I have found in Paris (and I have searched pretty extensively!) without resorting to staying in a hostel. This hotel's best feature by far is its location. It is right in the middle of the Marais on Rue St. Antoine, very close to many major metro lines. It is a quick walk to the Louvre, the Seine, Notre Dame, etc. Unlike other cheap hotels I have stayed at in Paris, here the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. You absolutely cannot beat the price for a room here. The only downside is that some rooms do not come with a bathroom, thus making it somewhat hostel-esque. I have stayed here several times before and will continue to do so in the future. Thanks Hotel de la Herse d'Or for providing such a wonderful and affordable option in Paris!

Got back from Paris last week and had such a fantastic stay here. The location is unbeatable right in the heart of the Marais and walking distance from several metro stops. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the room was newly renovated and comfortable with a flat screen, wifi, and a beautiful exposed stone wall. Could not have found a better place to stay especially for the price and location. Would recommend it to anyone staying in the area whether traveling alone or with others.

The room was no-frills, but it was clean, well-maintained, and in a great location. The bed as very comfortable - much better than the average bed in a hotel for this price range in Europe. I would definitely return. Also, it is near such amazing food and shopping - PERFECT location for a girl's weekend, a romantic weekend, or a family trip (so close to the Metro).
