"Classic Swiss Fare Lest you think that every meal in Switzerland is expensive, consider the Restaurant Lapin in Lucerne. Dinner at the Lapin which is located within the small, family-owned Hotel de la Paix was a value- and flavor-filled journey through filling and tasty local specialties like the skewer flambéed tableside. The original Lucerne Fritschipastete is a hearty kebab-like affair that goes well with a wide variety of wines on offer. The restaurant has a loyal, local following who come here for the Lapin's daily specials. Ready to embark on your own Swiss adventure? Excellent location. Easy walk or bus from train station. Our room was small but doable. Saw they have bigger rooms. Clean and comfortable beds. Pretty quiet. Decent breakfast. Staff were very friendly. Would recommend.

Booked this hotel and got an apartment style for my family of 4. Very spacious apartment with small kitchen and extra toilet as well as very spacious dining area. This apartment can sleep for 5 people. Breakfast was included but not that much variety - better than no breakfast.

3 stars because the location was great and staff very pleasant. Room was very tiny with only 1 chair for 2 people. Rooms not sound proof at all and you could hear every door closing. Pillows were terrible. Breakfast adequate only.

The Good|Good location. Within walking distance from Lucerne station and old town. Very very near Lion Monument.|Check in was wonderful. Arrived early and left bags with front desk. Came back at night and bags were already in room. Good to have physical and helpful front desk. |Elevator is small but it is still reasonable. At least the elevator can accommodate 3 persons and bags.|Room was neat and tidy. Overlooking the street. Like the balcony and windows (that can be open). Fresh air. And it was not noisy at night.|Breakfast at the Ambassador. Good spread of food. Clean and tidy. Not crowded.|The not-so-good|No AC. Summer was stuffy. |The room did had portable cooler/fan which helped partially. Windows that can be open helped the other half.

Beautifully situated in the heart of Lucern town centre, rooms are value for money with decent views from balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was average however grateful for our stay here.

Our tiny room was 80 degrees when we got to it, had a mediocre fan at best- therefore had to sleep with the very small door open, got NO sleep because it was so loud outside. No shower towels were provided for us and we were given the world’s flattest and worst pillows we’ve ever used. It was not an enjoyable 2 night stay. Would not return.

The hotel is located very close to the Lucern Train Station. The triple room had good space and decent facilities and it came with a balcony. The staff was courteous. Breakfast can be avoided as the spread isn't huge. Enjoyed my stay here.

Yelp
The staff is friendly & helpful which is very much appreciated! I needed to store cheese & they offered me their large fridge which I thought was very thoughtful! Please note no fridges in rooms! The rooms are
simple but great location central & close to COOP store the train station & restraurants.
