A wonderful, unique hotel/guesthouse owned by the equally wonderful Sylvie, who was so warm and welcoming. ||Located on a central Juan les Pin street of shops, bars and restaurants, minutes from the beach. ||The hotel decor is fun and imaginative, with a retro slant which I loved. I stayed in room 7 which was immaculately clean, thoughtfully designed and decorated, and bigger than I was expecting, though perhaps not best suited for sharing, as the bathroom is integrated into the room. ||There was a great little dressing table, as well as a desk, fridge, TV (which I didn’t watch), a clothes rail with plenty of hangers, and shelf space. Along with well designed and considered lighting. Plus, an all important air-con unit. ||Due to its location, yes it can be a bit noisy at night, but the double glazed windows block out a lot, and I liked hearing the street’s vibe as I drifted off to sleep. ||As a lone female traveller I felt very safe in the hotel itself, and going out for dinner alone at night, as everything was on the doorstep. ||If a cool, intimate hotel in a popular area is what you’re looking for, then look no further. I, for one, can’t wait to stay again.

Sylvie made us feel right at home in her beautifully decorated boutique hotel. The beds are really comfortable. A bar fridge with complimentary soft drinks, tea and coffee station. The location is right in the centre of town. A wonderful roof terrace where breakfast is served or to relax away from the busy town. If we are ever back here we wouldn't think twice about staying here. Great value for money for the area and season.

Our stay was remarkable becouse of the owner Sylvie, who was very welcoming, attentive, funny and kind. She made a very good breakfast every morning, and you could agree on the timing, if you needed it earlier. I found hotel very charming with rooms nicely renovated and decorated. The bed was comfy, a good quality mattress, but not so much pillows though. The big plus was a reversible air con/heater in the room. Shower room was nice, but very tiny. Overall the charm of the house compensates the size of the rooms. And the attentiveness and positivism of the hotel's owner makes you want to come back again.

I loved this hotel. It's a quirky, completely immaculate and clearly well loved and cared for by the owner Sylvie. My single room had no wardrobe but this didn't prove an inconvenience and I felt it completely acceptable for the price and 2 star rating. ||The location is great. Very near the beach and in the middle of the bars and restaurants. It could be noisy but the double glazing cut the noise out entirely.||Having stayed in a number of hotels in the area over the years, this is great value for money. I will stay here every time in the future.

Location is very good in the centre of Juan Les-Pins. Next door to all the restaurants and bars, also a 5 min walk to the beach. Hotel is lovely decorated throughout. We stayed in the budget room which was small but nice. This suited us as out late so just somewhere to get your head down and shower. No air conditioner. Also next to a nightclub however not too noisy. The lady that managers the hotel is very nice and helpful. Would stay again.

I need to start by mentioning the host Sylvie, one of the most generous and smiling people I have met. The hotel is in the most convenient location in Juan Les Pins near the restaurants, bars and shopping stores not to forget that it is a 5 minute walk from the beautiful beach in the area. The rooms are nicely decorated with beach themes very spacious and clean, all you need to feel at home. An experience to be repeated regularly at Hetel La Pinede.||Thank you again Sylvie from Jimmy and Vania !

This hotel is cute and has a number of things to recommend it. ||Good things:|- great location. You’re a minute’s walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the train station. Plenty of cute places to eat nearby. |- very kind owner. She even gives her mobile number in case you have any questions|- cute rooms|- clean|- nice breakfast available for €10||Things to know:|- the hotel is SMALL. I was by myself and struggled to even get my suitcase in and out of the room. I can’t imagine having a second person in my room. |- it’s really noisy. Aside from the walls being paper thin and the doors slamming, it’s right above a nightclub. If you’re sensitive to noise, you will have difficulty here. Sleeping in is a challenge. |- no lift. The hotel is spread over a few floors, so know that you will be carrying your luggage up a minimum of one flight of stairs, or possibly two. ||Overall, cute and very clean, but not without its challenges.

This hotel is a simple two or three star hotel with friendly and relaxed management. It’s clean and simple, with some quirky (in a good way) decorative flourishes, and right in the middle of town. The middle of town can be quite lively but the noise never bothered me. The windows are double glazed and the building generally well insulated against the sound. What does come through is actually quite pleasant, and it doesn’t go very late anyway. The mornings are quiet. It’s good value for money. I’ve stayed twice. Wouldn’t hesitate to go again. There’s no pool but it’s just a short walk to the beach where you can spend some or all of the day. Otherwise you’re perfectly located to restaurants, bars and shopping.

Yelp
I kind of knew what I was getting into booking this little hotel in the south of France, given that I've stayed in inexpensive European "hotels" before, that being said there are a few things the average journey-person should be aware of before booking. The hotel itself is very cute, renovated with a rustic industrial charm, the rooms are more spacious than your average European petite Hotel. The beds are comfortable enough and clean. It's in a great location in that it's steps away from restaurants, les glaces, shopping and the beach. The train is very close as are busses, making day tripping easy and convenient. That being said, when I checked in the owner was no where to be found, I had to call the phone number on the front door to let her know that myself and another guest had arrived to check in. She hurried to us and told us that reception is on the second level and to ring the bell whenever we needed anything. She gave us the keys, showed us to our rooms, said welcome and disappeared. I settled in and decided to get a little more information about the area and headed down to the reception where the owner was no where to be found, again. I rang the bell, waited, rang again, waited, rang again and gave up. There are no information pamphlets, no maps, no tour guides, no service suggestions, tour company recommendations or information of any kind. I would not recommend this hotel to a new traveller in that getting any kind of information was a bit of a trial, not to mention the fact that I barely saw the owner the entire week I stayed. Also, when I booked breakfast was supposed to be provided, that unfortunately never happened and as it turns out, the little town Juan les Pins has very few restaurants or coffee shops open for breakfast. There was no coffee either, not in the lobby or bedroom. The windows are somewhat soundproof but as I found out, this little town is a big party town, where kids are up until 3-4-5 in the morning, great if you're joining in the festivities, not so great if you want to get a good nights sleep to wake up early for a day trip or an early flight. There were often car horns honking and fights that broke out just outside of the hotel. If you are looking for an inexpensive, cute, safe, clean room and are not concerned with breakfast and sleeping and information then I say book it, otherwise look elsewhere! I would give it two stars except that Hemingway stayed here and that deserves a star!
