Hôtel de la Poste

It was at a great location just a 5 minute walk to the Beaunne center plaza. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was special musical event at the bar/lounge that my wife and our friend were able to enjoy. I on the other hand couldn’t take a nap because our room was above the bar. The hotel does need some TLC, such as patching up the stucco on some walls and a new coat of paint. The room was very clean and roomier that other hotels I’ve stayed before. Overall was happy and would stay there again.

Just returned from spending four nights at the beautiful Hotel De La Poste. We had been on a River Boat Cruise the week prior and decided we wanted to spend time in Beaune. What a fantastic choice we made!!! The hotel was perfectly located within walking access of downtown. The smart white exterior and classic black shutters gave it a look of sophistication. The lounge area was awesome ~ comfortable seating with lovely design. Order a cocktail or enjoy a pitcher of hot chocolate. Or just sit and relax. The buffet breakfast each morning was filling as well as delicious. The chocolate croissants were served warm just out of the oven. The room itself was very spacious and was kept spotless. The staff at Hotel De La Poste was absolutely outstanding. They worked as a team and saw to it that everything flowed seamlessly. Thank-you everyone there who ensured that our stay was beyond delightful. And a special thank- you to RABAB at the front desk. She was Incredibly kind, engaging, organized and helpful.

My mom and I stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and attentive. They helped us with taxis, dinner reservations, and a particularly odd request to store our homemade pastries in their fridge.|Our room was very large and the bathroom was great. The hotel restaurant was closed while we were there, but the bar area was very comfortable and cozy. The location was also a nice and short walk into the middle of the town for lunch and dinner. I would highly recommend

We loved this hotel and if we are fortunate enough to return next year--we would book it again. The front desk staff was remarkably helpful. We booked a wonderful room with a terrace and had a view of the vineyards as well as a great place for a late night glass of wine. The bed was super and the room very clean. There was no detail left too chance. The second morning was warm enough to have breakfast on the terrace behind the hotel. Large variety of many local specialties as well as old favorites. A very extensive hot and cold breakfast buffet with copious cups of coffee. I cannot say enough about how excellent the overall experience was.

Really lovely staff from reception to hotel bar|It's in an excellent location with secure parking within hotel courtyard. (€20 per night). Great location in very pretty town, short walk to centre ville. Very comfortable room. |Didn't have breakfast.

Very enjoyable 2 nights at the Poste. Very helpful and welcoming service. Well equipped, spacious room. Same for the bathroom although there could have been more shelving and some hooks for bath robes. Great location and wonderful private parking.

Fantastic hotel room with awesome air conditioning and quirky, generous and comfortable furnishings. There's a free car park less than 100 m away, and you are on the doorstep of the old town which is a fantastic place to walk around. I would definitely visit again.

We arrived early evening and were greeted by Cedrick who was smiling and so helpful. He really did set the scene for our stay. Cedrick was amazing.|I had booked parking and it was great to see an allocated space with my name on it. My car is an SUV and there was ample space.|The room was fabulous. It was so comfortable. |Breakfast was well organised.|We will not hesitate to stay here again.

Mixed reaction to the hotel. It's a very unique building. Easily found as you drive into town, which was great. And convenient, but not free parking. Our room was a little bizarre. Very small safe. Small tv. Gorgeous bathroom with a makeup mirror. About a 10 minute walk from anything, but an easy walk. The staff was very nice and helpful. Although the breakfast is exceedingly small and service is very slow. FYI, the photos that others posted looked NOTHING like the room we had. So perhaps each room is VERY different.

Fresh from a can or frozen or from a box We arrived during a pouring rain storm and made reservations quickly. The restaurant inside looked ok. The rack of lamb was overcooked and terrible Veal was ok, sauce was pedestrian The peas were tasteless Beef burgone was just awful. Hammy sauce was from a can. The appetizers The salad was bright and fresh the dressing was well done The poached eggs in pinot sauce not OK. The sauce was poor. The poached eggs in white wine aligote sauce was splendid. The rabbit terrine was rustic and nice. Served with beautiful mustard. Service was sad. The staff clearly not trained and they were bored - and not knowledgeable about food or wine. The wine list was broad and quite comprehensive. Sadly the staff did a quite bad at pouring Service was a disaster!! Sloppy service Decor is tired Old world Requested coffee that never arrived

Very fine service with delicious food. what I remember most is that the service matched the level of food. I've eaten here twice for dinner and once for lunch. All were enjoyable. One of the more pricey and stately restaurants in town. For visitors, it is easy to walk or drive to.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel: very comfortable. The service throughout the place was remarkable: from the front desk , where mr. Tarik made sure we were doing well ( He helped us get train tickets in time of a strike) to Eric our bartender who was very good with his suggestions. The meal we had at the restaurant the 2nd night was pleasant and tasty. We had a nice stay!!

Lovely and charming but seriously overpriced. However, if you want to eat the absolute best roast chicken you have ever tasted, then by all means, take the plunge. I would never have considered spending €85 on a chicken (for two), but it was a once in a lifetime experience.
