Front desk staff were super friendly, and accommodating. Rooms are good, perfect for a few nights. Breakfast buffet was nice, with many options available. The hotel is centrally located, ideal for first time visitors.

Unfortunately we can't recommend this hotel. The price of rooms doesn't reflect the fact that the hotel is in serious need of repair work. Would we stay here again?...only if there was no where else available. This is not a three star hotel.|On a good note, the location is in the city centre.

We were 3 mature rugby World Cup supporters on our stay in Bordeaux. We stayed 3 nights at the Hotel and it was excellent. The rooms we were given were comfortable and clean. ||The staff really made this hotel. They're English and local knowledge was great and they were so friendly and willing to help. ||The hotel is situated very close to the restaurants, bars and shops. |

This is a great location and my room was large for an inner-city room. The shower layout wasn't ideal and the toilet was on a step which was a little weird. Otherwise the service was very good and the staff was accommodating when I arrived early for my room.

Thr rooms are clean and the air conditioning works but there are no other luxuries in the rooms. People are very kind and service is excellent. Location is superb.

To preface: most of my comments apply to the single-person "petite chambre". The bigger rooms might be better, but you'll have to look at other reviews.||||I only paid $60 a night and stayed 2 nights, but I think I would have been upset if I'd paid more or stayed longer. It was completely serviceable but that's about it. ||||The good: It's in a perfect location near all the shops, restaurants, attractions. They hold luggage before and after your stay. Staff were very nice and helpful.||||The bad: Biggest issue was noise. My room did not even face the main street, but it was still very loud. There were people busking outside my window for hours in the evening, and at night, there were loud partiers. The heating and plumbing were also loud, and I had noise from the elevator.||||The room was also just plain odd--the toilet is in a tiny closet-like room separate from the sink and shower, which are in a different tiny room. The shower only has half a door and a curtain, and it's really small, so it's hard to maneuver without getting water everywhere. There was no trash can.||||Also, if you're staying in the winter, note that the room was freezing until I pulled out the radiator/space heater, but doing that takes up most of the space between the bed and the wall. ||||TLDR: Fine if you can get a good deal, but there's a reason that the front desk has a bowl of earplugs. Probably better if you can get a bigger room.

I have never been to prison but I expect that this is how a cell looks like. Although I have booked a double room for single use I got a room where I had literally to jump from one side of the bed to the other as the clearance between the wall and the bed was not enough for a grown person to pass through. Similarly the bathroom would have been very comfortable and spacious for a child. Maybe on a small sailboat it would be ok. On the other hand the staff was exceptionally polite and helpful but this is not enough me for me to book this hotel ever again.
