Hôtel de la Treille

A small and very friendly hotel in a lovely location, walking distance from Lille Europe and with great shopping adjacent. We had rooms on third floor at the back (climb up spiral staircase), good double glazing kept out street noise from below. Good breakfast.

We stayed here for a night on our way driving to Lisse for the Keukenhof tulip festival. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, and we enjoyed our large window overlooking a main square. The hotel was well located in the old town near green spaces and restaurants. It was a nice hotel to stay for the night.

Great choice. Ideal location in the old town, and only 15 minutes walk from the Eurostar station. Reception staff very helpful and friendly, allowing me to practise my beginners French. Special mention for receptionist Manu - he is a real star. Well be back!!

Very good hotel that is convenient for the centre of the city, friendly helpful staff and close to a wide selection of restaurants. Breakfast is additional but well worth taking advantage of as there is a good selection from a buffet.

Very clean rooms but a little smaller. Breakfast is varios and good quality. The hotel walls are very thin and you can hear all the noises.

Arrived Friday evening a very pleasant welcome from the receptionist who remembered that I made a special request for a room without a sloping roof. Our room was at the back of the hotel, it was small, although the bathroom was a reasonable size but rather dark, there was some noise from an adjacent bar but it didn’t really bother us.. it was very warm.. no air conditioning but you could open the window, however in doing so it allowed mosquitoes into the room so my husband and I ended up with a few bites, not very pleasant. When I mentioned this to the manager he was very unsympathetic and said it was due to the weather ! |We were asked on arrival if we wanted our room cleaned during our stay (environmental ?) we said yes just the once, we were given extra towels, bins emptied, carpets vacuumed, some of the dirty towels were still left in the bathroom, coffee cups and glasses not washed, coffee and water bottle not replaced.|There’s a good selection for breakfast and it’s in a great location, could be a lovely hotel with a little more attention to detail

Nice little hotel in the older part of Lille.||My room was overlooking the square which was nice. ||The room was small but had everything you would need, it was clean and as previously stated had a brilliant view.||The hotel is around a 10 minute walk from the train station, really easy to find.||There are some excellent restaurants near by and a couple of decent places for a drink, we dropped on with the weather so had a couple of drinks sat outside in the square.||The staff were great and very helpful, more than happy to arrange transport.||Breakfast was okay, I would say what let it down was the price.||All in all a pleasant stay.

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel de la Treille! We are were so pleased to have secured a reservation at this hotel! We had originally considered an airbnb location and are so glad that we chose to stay at this wonderful hotel instead. The hotel is very charming and welcoming; beautifully decorated. The staff are super friendly and thoughtful. At one time, we needed help with messaging our uber driver and a staff member kindly texted on our phone for us in French to help assist us. In addition to reserving our very comfortable two-room suite, we also requested the breakfast option. The breakfast was delicious and had an array of healthy options. I will remember always this beautiful ripe apricot I ate and the egg scramble especially!!! Seriously, it was incredibly good!!! We enjoyed such a wonderful meal and had such great friendly staff helping us. I meant the title of the review when I wrote it -- I would give more stars than 5 if I could!!!! Thank you Hotel de la Treille! You made our trip to Lille so comfortable and it was a joy to be at your hotel!
