Hotel de l'Abbaye

We had a wonderful stay with our Frenchie Baxter. The staff were so sweet to him. They offered a bed, bowels, a mat to put his food bowls on and a plush toy. He was thrilled. The location is great walkable to most all but very quiet. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

Had an incredible stay. It’s the perfect balance—super central and close to everything, yet somehow completely peaceful and quiet inside. The room was spotless, and the bed was comfortable as well as the pillows. Loved the small touches, especially the L'Occitane bath products and the free non-alcoholic drinks in the mini-bar. The staff were exceptional from start to finish. They were very kind about late checkout also and very kind in general. Highly recommend. Pic is the cathedral outside the hotel, very cool.

Charming hotel well located ( walking distance to all main touristic sites) overlooking a 12 th century chearch . Room a bit small but very confortable. Lift, Very pleasant staff providing good advice. Don’t miss incredible Musée des Beaux-arts , the stunning roman mosaics on top of Fourviere ( câble car) and the Bocuse Halles ( top food hall )

A lovely hotel in a quiet part of the city. Great Neighborhood. Stunning renovation. The common areas and the restaurant were beautiful. Loved our room - lots of space. We stayed in a signature room with a large comfy bed, desk, table and two chairs and two lounging chairs. Modern bath with individual shower. Bath robes and slippers. Good recommendations for sightseeing as well as shopping and restaurants. Their restaurant was outstanding and we had a delicious dinner there. Staff was friendly and made sure we were satisfied. Don't miss Les Halles food hall and Bernachon Chocolate Store. This is a city with lovely food options.

Our group of 22 stayed for 2 nights at the Hotel de l'Abbaye. Our room was huge and immaculate. The staff was excellent. The hotel is well situated within walking distance of most attractions. The breakfast buffet was adequate but overpriced. However, the hotel is within easy walking distance to other restaurants. There is a Cafe Paul on the main pedestrian walk which always has execellent options. Unfortunatly, we were unable to try their highly rated restaurant, L'Artichaut, as it was closed both nights we were there Sun and Mon. We definitely would return. Don't worry about the bell ringing at the beautiful Abbaye across the street as it is not rung all night!

Hotel De L'Abbaye was a really charming hotel in a great location on La Presqu'ile close to the old town. The room was good with a nice comfy bed and good amenities.||||What really made our stay special were the staff and especially Alice on reception who was fantastic! Alice helped with our car parking, the extension of our room reservation and provided some great restaurant recommendations for lunch and dinner. Alice's knowledge of the city was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble, she really went that extra mile to ensure we had a special time. We would certainly recommend Hotel De L'Abbaye and will be returning again ourselves!

Our clients arrived at this hotel only to be told the property had been overbooked, despite their reservation being made months in advance. It was hard not to feel as though the hotel prioritised a higher-paying direct booking over honoring their confirmed stay. To make matters worse, the staff seemed eager to move them out of the lobby rather than offer any meaningful assistance. Extremely disappointing customer service.

Wonderful service, comfy rooms, and an excellent location! So happy we chose to stay here and would absolutely return. Lilou at reception was very kind and helpful highlighting the best places to visit in town. The room was quiet and comfortable. Location was near to everything but secluded enough to be quiet even on busy weekend nights.
