Hôtel de l'Ange

We recently spent 3 nights at this hotel while visiting family near Nyon. The location was great. The staff was professional and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The room was cozy, not spacious but workable. I do not understand the complaints about breakfast in the reviews. Fresh espresso and latte were available upon request. There was a fine assortment of cheese and breads, etc. In reference to noise, our room faced the street, and while we could hear noise from the street, it did not bother us that much. The downside was that we arrived at the beginning of a winter storm. The heat for the room was inadequate, and kept turning off which made for an uncomfortable stay. We reported the problem to the front desk and were told that the radiator was on a thermostat.

Great experience from A to Z. Reception guys are very friendly and helpful. Location is great , very near to the train station and also few minutes walk to the lake. Room was very nice. Handy service was there and is extremely an advantage to the stay. Internet was good and stable. One of the best stays since long time.

The two of us stayed in the suite which was a beautiful cosy spot with a little terrace overlooking the rooftops of Nyon to a view of the lake and mountains on the other side. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with everything. We are fresh fruit types so were very happy to see the high end orange juice squeezer machine with a bowl of fresh oranges ready to be juiced! A mobile phone was provided in the room for free calls. The perfect location for a stay in Nyon.

Nice cosy family run hotel, clean and spacious rooms. The bathrooms however are small. Breakfast is good. Very well located in walking distance from the station.

We stayed here coming for a birthday of friends in the region. Super cozy hotel with good vibes. Very central, nice breakfast, super beds, cool staff, nice bar with fine food in house. Will definitely come back.

Stayed here two nights; booked a room called the shoebox, was obviously expecting a small room and it was ridiculously small! Barely enough room to enter with a suitcase. There was a comfy enough double bed, a tv and a desk but the room is just too small. The bathroom is also very small with barely enough room to sit on the toilet bowl! My room was also on the first floor and a little noisy as there's a fairly busy road just meters away. The floorboards are also very squeaky and I was woken up by the guests upstairs as I could clearly hear their footsteps. The breakfast was very basic and served in a small room, the staff was polite enough and there was a decent looking bar there which was closed during my time there though. The hotel is centrally located and clean enough but my experience was overall disappointing mostly because of the room size and the fee charged, just under 300 CHF.

Our room was very nice, however the best part about this hotel was the friendly staff and great service. There is a somewhat complicated public parking system across the street, and we would have never figured it out without advice from the staff at the desk. The location is excellent for walking around Nyon, which is very pretty.

After having a bad traffic accident on the way to Italy we found ourselves trapped in Switzerland for 3 days . The police booked us into this little gem of a hotel and we were overwhelmed with how sympathetic and helpful all the staff were ! They helped to make a dreadful situation much better and we are forever grateful. This hotel is situated in a great position for the beautiful lake and shops . We highly recommend this hotel because of the fantastic staff .
