Hotel de Liège

The owner/manager was most unhelpful and difficult. His attitude seemed hostile and awkward. After seeing the room which was just two steps up from a hovel. we chose not to stay and found a lovely alternative very close by. There is little parking and the place definitely needs urgently needs refurbishment. Their card machine was "broken" and we were told to find a bank and pay in cash.

Cool little old hotel, with a very friendly owner and full of historic pictures of the region and the hotel. I only stayed one night in the most basic room, which meant a shared toilet down the hallway. But that was perfectly fine to be honest. My room was really small but it had a double bed, shower, sink, TV and sufficient powersources. It got a bit cold at night under the older type blankets, but nothing I couldn't solve myself. For the rest it was a fine clean room for the price I paid. And the breakfast next morning was a real treat! Everything was ready to go when I got down, and tea/coffee was the last bit being served immediatly after arrival. In short, I will surely stay there again if I go to La Roche again. Thx!

Its good for the price you pay. Old building but completely fine to stay at. However they dont have terminal to pay with card.

we spent ages driving around the town looking for a cheap hotel and we came across this one yes its nothing special but i have stayed in worse.the hotel was basic and as we were only staying 1 night that wasn't a problem to us. the bedroom was small but it had what we needed a bed. the bathroom was actually very big, must depend on the rooms. breakfast was good and so was the coffee. there was also free parking outside on the road.||the owner was a nice guy.||no idea who was in the room across from us but it sounded very busy like they were having a party.

Very nice hotel . The staff is super friendly and helpful . The room was ok ,toilet aswell . We loved alot the deco of the stairs . The building is situated very near the city center . Breakfast was included and was very good with plenty of choices . Will be coming again here for sure !

For the price its fantastic. Host is friendly, building full of character, breakfast is great, free parking and just 5mins walk to the city/Castle etc. It's not new like a "holiday inn" so don't expect that or a 5 star place and you will be fine. I would return happily.

Stuck some where in the 1970's. 93 shades of brown shared toilet down the corridor and some dubious Heath Robinson stuff going on. Husband has some serious grovelling to do after booking us in this place. Only redeeming things were clean sheets, hot water and reasonable breakfast.

It's old, it's cheap, it's nostalgic. Don't expect much from this hotel. But it is good for 1 night stay on your travel and cheap. Including breakfast that is not bad. The owner is very friendly and will help you with all your questions.
