Perfect experience, very nice place, heating working very well during Autumn, Hot tube working fine, clean room, they even surprised us with a little sweet in the Sunday Easter. If you don't have time for breakfast they can fix you up in the night before. You get to have breakfest in the Tea house which is a very nice place with gorgeous food. They even have a beer pub with good music, excellent beer and excellent food.

1. We were placed in apartments that did not match the photos. 2. In the apartments opposite the jacuzzi, construction workers were working, making noise and watching everything 3. For 4 people we were offered 2 beds and a mattress on the floor (although the description says 4 beds) 4. With a lot of effort we were moved to 2 different small apartments. 5. I was attacked by 2 dogs on the territory and almost bitten. The staff didn’t even come to save me, they were watching. On the next day staff said dogs are secured, but after 10 min I saw dog walikng nearby. 6. One of the apartments turned out to be very cold with a temperature of 8-10 C inside. No blanket was provided 7. The next day, we were moved with difficulty to another apartment, where it was warm, but there were blood or urine stains on the carpet and mold. You can make your own conclusions. I would NOT recommend staying at this place, especially paying $250 per night

Located on the bottom of Martial, those cabanas could be a nice experience, even with children. We have stayed four nights in the middle of December 2019, temperatures between 5 and 13 Celsius. There was no heating, but they provided wood for a fireplace, which was crucial for comfort staying. Reception opening hours are very limited, so plan for that (I think is from 12:00 to 20:00). But we were very well served by Flor, a very kind girl who works at Casa de Té, part of the hotel where breakfast and other meals are served during the day. Breakfast is really nice: not so rich or varied, but the products are fresh, natural and very tasty, with good service. The entire area of the hotel is isolated and far (10-15 min by car) from the city, so transportation needs to be planned. Taxis and remis cost at least 300 pesos (to/from the city center). We rented a car for two days, which was great especially for return to airport with luggage. There is wifi, but it didn't work. So, if you look for a root experience, simple but good accommodation, nice service, and a calm place, this is the place.

We had a wonderful time at Cumbres del Martial. We booked one of the cabanas with Jacuzzi and it was just outstanding! The cabanas are not the newest, however clean and charming and the bed is more than comfy. The staff was always friendly and breakfast was served at the cute tea house. The surrounding of the cabana invites you to relax and to forget about everything. Best location for having a relaxed time and to go for hikes. The city centre of Ushuaia is quite far - approx. 15-20 minutes by taxi/car which makes you feel lonely up in the mountains. The cabana was worth each coin! However, wifi is not working properly which wasn't a surprise, because you are up in the mountains.

We stayed here at the beginning of January - I'd made a mistake on a hotel booking in Ushuaia, and this was the only place with room for us! Thank you!||We stayed in what was described as a "superior room" - in fact it was a wonderful log cabin (more like a house, actually), which was amazing. Very beautiful, with views of the surrounding woods, and a lovely log fire - we didn't need that really, as the heating was excellent, but we did light it one evening just for the atmosphere.||I'm not sure why anyone would complain that it's out of town - it didn't just move, it was there when they booked it, and the description of how to get there and the location on the map rather give that away! ||It is right at the foot of the glacier chairlift, and that's a lovely trip to do, and walk at the top, even though our weather wasn't great. The area is stunningly beautiful||And yes, you do have to seek out the staff in the gift shop when the office is unmanned, but the gift shop is about 12 paces away from the office, i.e. the very next building.||Breakfast was fine, though it's worth mentioning that a cooked breakfast is available, but doesn't seem to be offered until you see someone else with it, and then ask! And if you ask for toast, you get one slice!||A lovely place, very laid back, and we found it ideal.

This year was our third booking here, and the two previous experiences were wonderful and deserved the best reviews, but everything changed this year because they opened a Beer point in the middle of the park next to the Cabannas. There is super loud music from 10 pm to 1am from Thursday to Sunday and people screaming and singing. Of course, the owner didn't warn us about this, and we were trapped when we arrived. They refused to reimburse us so we could move to another place. They offered us to relocate to a very low quality hotel. The beer point not only caused noises but might also be dangerous because people are circulating (and of course, they are consuming alcohol). There isn't any control. This place totally ruined our vacations, and the owners super rude and insensitive to our complains. This place shouldn't be authorised to function as a hotel unless they have a mandatory disclaimer to guests about the level of noise and disturbance they will find every day.

This hotel is a series of cabins and cabanas that are located at the base of the Martial Glacier, which is the facilities' major plus. I paid approximately $300/night for a king size bed in a cabin that had a somewhat obstructed view of the Beagle Channel. The room was clean, but the smell of air freshener was a little overwhelming. The customer service situation is a little awkward as the only one that speaks English is the owner, but she is not around much. The staff on hand seem nice, but avoid interaction making it necessary seek them out to get their attention to get coffee in the morning, ask for a taxi to be called, have lunch etc. Breakfast was included, but was a simple meal of cereal, fruit, ham, cheese, coffee and tea. A plus for breakfast was the homemade toast. The restaurant is a tea house that attracts glacier tourists and serves excellent pastries baked on site. The sauna was not working while we visited. I enjoyed being in the mountains and out of the hustle and bustle of Ushaia, but feel that this hotel was very expensive.

We booked a taxi at the dock in Ushuaia and told him we wanted to head up to the glacier. I heard read some reviews on Cumbres de Martial as quaint tea house in the mountains above Ushuaia. We weren't disappointed. We have some home made pastries and cafe Lattes that were excellent. The surroundings are picturesque and charming.
