At first look it seemed fine, a bit dated but fine. Staff at reception were friendly. The room (number 14) had separate toilet from bathroom that would not accomodate anybody over 65kg and 1.7m but it was funny. Alas, later on things took an unpleasant turn = Bed bugs, not just one. As it was late reception was no longer manned. The following day we were provided with another room (number 38), it looked fine, alas bedtime proved unpleasant again as bed bugs were also visiting. And no, we didn't carry them from one room to the other as we didn't find any during the following 5 days in 2 other hotels/towns. Also at breakfast the following day, another host had a bedbug on the back of his shirt! Breakfast was ok. They are aware of the problem as they told us it was hard to get rid of bedbugs! No compensation was offered, not that it would soothe the bites!

Stopped here on Easter Saturday on the way further south. Good courtyard at the rear to park my motorcycle.||Friendly patron but the hotel is very tired like Vichy itself! The town was very quiet for a holiday weekend. Decent breakfast but the dining room is tiny - would be better in warmer months when you can sit outside, but as other have said, there is no aircon for that time of year. ||I didn't want to say 3* average but 4* very good is a little generous. I am happy enough to stay here for 1 nights on the way elsewhere. I'd want something grander if staying longer.

We stayed for one night while on a motor cycle tour and were made very welcome by the friendly staff. The free off street car parking in the courtyard behind the hotel adds greatly to the value of your stay and I can highly recommend it for motorcycles where sometimes street parking can be an issue. The hotel is centrally located close to the shops and restaurants. My room was a little dated but comfortable, clean and functional with a little Juliet balcony overlooking the street below. Fitted hairdryer in shower room. There are alternative rooms if you prefer not to overlook the street. Good continental style breakfast with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again.

Vichy is a regular stop for us on the way back from holidays in the Languedoc and we have previously stayed at the Hotel du Rhone. The Naples is on the same street and is arguably somewhat better. Its décor is in reasonable repair and the room we had , whilst not large, was more than adequate for an overnight stay and the availability of a lift (though tiny) was a boon.||||Service was pleasant, the breakfast was reasonable and the hotel is well placed for eating out without too much of a walk. It does offer secure parking for a fee but we have always used the metered parking when staying on the Rue de Paris. Space frees up after six and if you are departing early then the fee to take you through the night to the early morning isn't high.

We knew where the hotel was in Vichy but had a problem finding the car park. The hotel staff were very helpful and we had comfortable stay for 3 days. Good breakfast and although room small was comfy and well presented and clean Pity about the deluging rain when we were there!!

Stayed at this hotel as an overnight stay as we drove from Calais to Perpingnan. The hotel is a budget hotel and decor is typical french but location is perfect and right in centre of Vichy. The man on reception was exceptional. He recommended a number of restaurants and was entertaining. I'd revisit to see more of Vichy and would stay here again. Breakfast was continental and plenty of it. 4 of us stayed in 2 separate rooms overlooking the courtyard.

A warm welcome awaits at this hotel, Rooms are very clean and colourful, and it is good value for money. Secure parking, and Dogs welcome.||Will stay again the next time in Vichy, also well positioned for Restaurants etc.
