The location of the hotel was excellent; we were able to walk everywhere. It’s very close to the Louvre Museum and many other attractions. Everyone at the reception was very sweet. The owner was very attentive and helped us a lot. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean, and our room was cleaned every day. We chose a room with a shared toilet, but the toilet was quite small. Other than that, everything was great. Thank you for everything! I will definitely recommend this place.

The location is perfect—just a short walk to the main scenic spots. However, the hotel is quite old and the facilities are lacking, with shared bathrooms, only a thin blanket provided, and broken drawers. That said, if your priority is minimizing travel time to the attractions, this hotel is a convenient choice.

Charming small boheme style hotel with great location on a calm side street just off Pont Neuf and rue Dauphine. I used to stay here in the 1980s, when it was still run by Mme Nesle herself. Today it's owned by her grandchild. Now it's renovated to much better standard, but still with the odd charm and oriental decorations in place (and no television in the room). My room even had a small private terrace. Simple but nice and clean, with very friendly staff. There is no breakfast, but plenty of food options nearby. It was a very nice experience to return almost 40 years later and spend a Saturday night here again.

My absolute favourite hotel in Paris: it is authentic, quirky, located in a beautiful but quiet district and the staff is so sweet & memorable - I even got a free upgrade. Every room is unique, painted lovingly by the husband of the hotel’s former owner (even though Room 13 is most probably haunted which just adds to the fun!). There are amazing restaurants, bakeries, authentic Japanese cuisines (including a boba tea shop & a Michelin starred ramen place that I got to eat at before it was discovered!) and right across the bridge there is the Louvre & a huge shopping street. I will always & always stay at Hotel de Nesle again, truly a magical part of my stay in Paris everytime! I can’t imagine Paris without this hotel!

Best part, it's at center of the city. So the location is perfect. Staff is very friendly. ..... But ..... we had aroom the 5th floor under the roof. (6th for the Americans) WITHOUT an elevator, for the toilet you have to cross the staircase ... (can be dangerous after some French wine.) Room is cosy and clean but a very old decoration, no Airco or central heating. We enjoyed our stay, but remember, it's not a four star hotel but more an "Allo Allo" version of an Hotel.

It is a very unique and quirky hotel in a great location and good value. I loved the atmosphere and it added to my Paris trip. Being an original building keep in mind that there is a spiral staircase with a lot of stairs, no lift and the rooms are not fully sound proof. I would bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The bathroom and room itself were quite small but adequate for a short stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Not very good rooms, no toilet whatsoever, small bathroom. We also had spiders on the bed, 2 spiders actually. We slept very uncomfortably, moving around all night. Nice location, just a street down Notre Dame, overall wouldn’t repeat.

Good location, louvre close, eiffel tower not far away, same museum d'orsay, but nothing apart. There was no information about renovation on date we were there. Hotel information saying there is parking space but when we arrive customer service said thats true, the've got parking but for small cars (we had 7seater) and to choose this hotel for 1night stay parking was important for us. Rooms clean but old fashioned, cracks on walls, room smeels a bit damp. No air con, just single fan. Room tight, bathroom clean. Im saying poor value for price we paid. There

Yelp
Such a quirky quaint hotel in the center of Paris close to the Latin quarter across from Point Neuf. Good rates compared to the pricer alternatives closely. No breakfast but you can get a nice espresso in the lobby which is full of curios. Free wifi, good restaurants down the street. Crusty old lady (what else in Paris?) manages the establishment with the help of some English speaking assistants. We got a nice room with seperate bathroom commode sink with second sink in bedroom, clean sheets and floor. I would stay here again!

Yelp
Vive l'Hôtel de Nesle! My first visit there was in 1987 and it is still the friendliest and most affordable hotel in the center of town; I will never stay anywhere else. I love this hotel! The staff are really friendly and they go out of their way to help, it is "no frills" but perfectly tidy with good WIFI, in an amazingly convenient and safe neighborhood... it's everything I need when staying in Paris.

Yelp
A Delightful Stay! Review of Hotel de Nesle Reviewed May 7, 2019 The Hotel de Nesle is in a fabulous location--two blocks from the Pont Neuf and the Seine, an easy walk to the Louvre, Île de la Cité and the D'Orsay Museum. The staff is helpful, the rooms are spacious and delightful. There is a lovely café on the corner that is cozy and reasonably priced. We recommend this place!

Yelp
Utterly mad and charming little hotel tucked away in a quiet backstreet of a great Parisian neighbourhood. The hotel is run by a couple who seemed very happy with our attempt at pidgin French for communication, and were very patient! The rooms are indivdually and quirkily styled and priced in a sliding scale depending on how much space you want and whether you're happy to share a bathroom etc. We were quite taken by a lovely African/safari themed room, but instead opted for the cosier and cheaper room up an extra flight of steep stairs, which had a rustic, country theme cue dried flowers hanging from beams. It was really well heated and incredibly comfortable, although the bathroom could have done with a bit of sprucing up. There is no breakfast on offer here, but in Paris you really don't need it. Nearby was great for exploring St Germain and all along the Seine, where restaurants and shops are plentiful. With Paris being generally very expensive, I'd recommend this modest hotel as a great place to stop if you're on a limited budget, and want to spend the majority of your cash on good nights out.

Yelp
It's a decent hotel in a good location. Staff is friendly. They tried with the decorations / paintings in the rooms. But it's an old rickety building and you will hear everything the people above and to the sides of you do. You probably won't get much sleep. Cleaning service is also hit or miss; we only got 1 set of new towels.

Yelp
Sleeping at the theatre? The walls are painted with theatrical designs/caricatures in each room and some don't have showers in them so choose carefully! However, bare in mind that this hotel takes no reservations in advance and it's a first come first service basis.
