Hôtel De Nice

Enjoyed our brief 2 night stay here in this hotel. The service level here is high. The rooms and as a matter of fact the entire hotel is rococo style, it is dark and surprisingly gives the rooms a depth which cannot be achieved in white rooms. The feel is almost decadent. I loved it!!! Clean sheets, towels and bathroom my 'must haves' are present. Fair warning to those whose bodies may be on the rotund side, you might get stuck in the narrow shower area. The location is in the midst of Le Marais buzz!! Free spirits will enjoy their stay here, the stuffed shirts can go elsewhere!

Loved this hotel, and absolutely loved the decor of the rooms. We had 2 rooms booked, a double and a twin room for our 2 sons. Both were beside each other, which was great. Both had balconies which overlooked a wonderful bustling street. Air conditioning in both rooms, which was appreciated in 30+⁰. The location was perfect for shops, restaurants, bars, cafés and the metro. The Louvre and Notre Dame were walking distance. The staff were lovely, I would definitely stay here again

I really enjoyed our stay here. Staff was courteous and accommodating. Great proximity to attractions and transport, as well as cuisine with n the plaza next door. Nice room decor. 10/10 would stay again.

Original hotel, friendly staff, good croissant for breakfast, many good Restaurants nearby (located in Marais) and many sights (Louvre, Notre Dame, Seine) within walking distance - Thank You Hotel De Nice !

Charming as ever and the quirkiness is perfect for enjoying the period style decor. Could use a fan in room 2. Overlooking the activity of Rue De Rivoli

Friendly place in a central part of Paris. Noisy area, but very convenient for restaurants and boulangeries. Take breakfast in the hotel of from the boulangerie a minute away. Rooms are nice but basic.

Very nice little hotel right in the middle of Paris. There are dozens of restaurants within a short walk, plus dozens of sites to visit. The hotel is typical of those of yesteryears, very small rooms, creaky floors, quirky decor, stairs to climb, but really pleasant. We had a room to Rivoli, and it was quiet enough. Bathroom and shower are cosy but very functional and clean. They will gladly keep your luggage before or after your stay. Not sure what the price in a non COVID summer would be, but our rate in COVID winter was a bargain for where it was.

Quaint hotel with Olde Worlde charm. Our room was small but pleasant, with a nice balcony. Very well sound proofed, we were on the corner above a busy road and a square full of busy restaurants and hardly heard a thing.

This hotel was the pits. The rooms were tiny and bed was uncomfortable . You can hear everything through the walls- and by everything I mean everything. Location was good but that was the only positive I can add. Desk staff was rude and not helpful. On check in she waved us off with a dismissive hand gesture while wolfing down a sandwich. Next morning We asked her to call for a cab and she let it ring twice then said There are no cabs. Shower is tiny. Only a half roll of toilet paper. And for those who said it was inexpensive I must have been ripped off because we paid quite a bit for this disappointing stay. Go elsewhere. And I forgot. The bar underneath was loud until 3:00 am and the blow dryer did not work.

This hotel is such a cool find, in the Marais- an awesome trendy district in Paris. You'll be on the main road where you can catch the metro, and within walking distance of the allure of Le Marais- dining, shopping, walking along the river. The hotel itself is really old school and dated. If you're into funky and eclectic and don't mind small spaces, this place is not only budget friendly, but has a great location and good views if you're on the top floor. I was traveling alone for this part of my trip, and stayed in a single room with a twin bed. I've never come across a twin bed option in a hotel during my travels, but the price was great (on booking.com) so I tried it out! It was the equivalent of an attic room, and I had a great view of the on goings in the courtyard below. See pictures to understand what I mean about funky and eclectic. The decor is really fun. They make you give them your room key before you leave the hotel for any amount of time. I was put off by this at first bc of security concerns, but honestly I can see why they do it. I'm sure many people lose the keys, and they're quite old. Idk- I'm very easy going and I don't pack anything valuable anyway, so it's all good! Didn't have breakfast here, which is an additional charge...bc there are bakeries with croissants at every turn! I'll stay here again when I return!

Really nice atmosphere the hotels have been we done and the area is close to the metro real close to Notre Dame the people in staff are very friendly easy to get around walking for dinner lunch or breakfast I would recommend and stay here again the rooms are small and cozy but you don't spend a lot of time in the room definite yes.

We stayed for 10 great days in the lovely, colorful Hotel de Nice in July. The hotel is perfectly located in the Marais district, with wonderful walking tours, delicious food, and easy access by Metro, Uber and bus to other desirable areas in the city. Hotel de Nice was clean, quiet and comfortable. Its large windows and air conditioning meant we slept easily; when the double-paned windows were shut, the noise from outside was blocked. While the modern bathroom we had was small, it suited us fine with excellent water pressure and temperature. The hotel staff were unfailingly helpful and even anticipated our needs. If you want a featureless American-type box then go elsewhere, but if you love charm along with your comfort Hotel de Nice is the best! I will come back anytime I am in Paris.

I enjoyed my stay here of three nights. The elevator didn't work so we had to walk up the stairs that had numerous large holes in the carpet. There was only one working AC unit in the reception hall but lucky for us we could take a summer cold shower and open the windows out onto the street. The rooms very very small and cozy. The workers at the desk were very friendly.
