"I found this budget hotel to offer excellent value—located just two minutes from the metro, not far from the Louvre, it includes a continental breakfast and has clean, spacious rooms with super friendly staff." - Matthew Kepnes

We have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel de Roubaix. The location was ideal for the central attractions and the Metro. Our air-conditioned room and bathroom were clean and the beds comfortable. The owner Christophe was very understanding and accommodating - especially when tolerating our two daughter's excessive affection for his dogs. Great artwork throughout, too. ||Loved the place. Just wish we had been able to stay longer. Hopefully, next time, we will.

I stayed here with my wife and 12-year-old son and we all loved it. It is very well placed for seeing the sights and for the metro, but wonderfully quiet, calm and comfortable. Breakfast was generous, varied and leisurely. Being a family of musicians, we especially enjoyed the piano room! The owners are lovely people who have created a beautiful ‘home from home’ for their guests. It’s full of warmth and fun and we hope to return!

First, Bonjour to my furry friends Filou, Noisette, Meneke, and Mipoll. So nice to see them everyday as I come and go. A great help to me as I missed my doggos back home. I arrived by hired car and experienced no trouble in finding the hotel. It is lovely. I was greeted immediately and made to feel welcome. I was a few hours early for check in which turned out to be not a problem as they were ready for me. I had a single room so it was small but perfect for me. Loved the BatCat art on the walls. Everything was spotless and the bed was amazing. Very comfortable. It took me a day to figure out the thermostat but that was on me. Each day when I returned I had new clean towels, the floors were swept, and the bed made. Every worker was pleasant and personable. I loved the decor and the theming though out the hotel. Something different around each corner. I did not partake of the breakfast. I was offered each day however. The no food in the room rule was not a problem as everything I needed was in the dining area when I brought back take away. I found the location to be perfect for my adventures. Many attractions were a 15-20 minute walk and the metro was 5-10. The neighborhood was fine. | I enjoyed my stay and meeting the 'Chef' and staff. They were wonderful to me. The music in the downstairs area was lovely. Should I come to Paris again, I will stay at the Hotel de Roubaix.

Location was perfect at the heart at La Maris and also very close to several Metro stations, bars and restaurants. The hotel is gorgeously styled and the rooms are very clean and speciaous (in Paris's terms of course). The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you Hôtel de Roubaix, we'll definitely come back again!

Love this hotel - it made our stay in Paris. Chic, cozy, fantastic location and very helpful and friendly staff. They made us feel completely welcome and even accommodated us for an extra night when our outgoing flight was canceled. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Will definitely return when next in Paris!

First the summary, then will provide additional details for those interested in more. My daughter wanted to visit Paris this month (June 2025) for a graduation gift, and I had two objectives in mind: find a hotel within walking distance to the major historical and cultural treasures of the city; and secondly, to be around $250 per night in total hotel costs. Going only on what I read in online reviews, I booked Hotel de Roubaix, since it met both objectives, and hoped for the best. My daughter and I could not have been more pleased with the hotel. Spotless, efficiently run, accommodating, gracious staff and owner, ideal location, well-priced. I recommend this hotel without hesitation. |Now some details. First, hotel management. The owner, Christophe Coineau, is a hands-on owner-operator who demonstrated pride of ownership. He was gracious, generous, welcoming. |The hotel staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Friendly, quick to please and assist. |The atmosphere of the hotel was as inviting as the staff. The walls are covered with art and collectibles, all clean and dust-free. The artwork found on almost every surface of the public areas of the hotel was novel and interesting, focused on various themes of French culture: fashion, famous models, all things car (LeMans), Warhol-style pop-art. |The rooms were basic but clean and modern. Both mattresses were firm and seemed newer, the bedding was spotless and well laundered. The tiled bathroom was a bit tight but with all new fixtures and spotless. |The breakfast service was very well done. The breakfast room itself was friendly and inviting, with walls of rough stone and good lighting. Colorful stoneware and metal utensils were at each place setting. The variety of breads, cheeses, eggs, jellies and breakfast meats exceeded what I would have expected at a two-star hotel. |The location was ideal. The Louvre was a 15 minute walk, Notre Dame maybe 20 minutes. The neighborhoods surrounding the hotel are packed with cafes and restaurants. Two neighborhood markets/grocery stores were less than a block away. |If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, affordable, and friendly hotel with a great location, I would recommend this hotel.

Wonderful boutique hotel in Paris. Close to everything you need. Comfortable beds and a bit more space compared to other Paris hotels in same class. Welcoming and helpful staff. They accommodated an early check in within 15 minutes! Air conditioning works amazing as does the hot water! This is important when choosing a Paris hotel! We will stay again no doubts! I will recommend this to everyone.

Highly recommended. Will stay here again. We stayed for a week and everything was perfect, The area is quiet and easy access to the best parts of Paris by walking. Rooms: Good size with aircondition and very clean. Super quiet and zero noise from neighbours. Hotel: Very well maintained and clean. Elevator and stairs. Large area by the 24 hour reception with incredible decorations. Also a vending machine behind the stairs. English speaking staff and pet friendly and you will meet the owners dogs :) Area: Safe and quiet and easy access to all the good streets for dining and walking - and metros everywhere. Summary: Great atmosphere at the hotel and area. Value for money in my favorite part of Paris. The owner is very dedicated to high standards. So highly recommended.
