Hotel de Rougemont & Spa (Rougemont, Vaud) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Set in Switzerland’s stunning Pays-d’Enhaut, just a few minutes from the upscale resort town of Gstaad, Hôtel de Rougemont & Spa is one part classic Alpine lodge, one part jet-set design hotel. Its rooms and suites look like something straight out of your Swiss chalet fantasy, featuring warm tones, plenty of bare wood, and stunning views of the dramatic Gstaad Dolomites. The hotel’s restaurant, Le Roc, has the charm of an Alpine brewery and features a sophisticated menu with an emphasis on meat, fish and fresh, seasonal ingredients." - Tablet Hotels

We stayed here for two nights and had a truly memorable experience. From check-in to checkout, the service was outstanding—genuinely warm, attentive, and professional. Both the staff and management went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. You don’t often see that level of personal attention anymore. The hotel itself is charming—cozy, well-maintained, and full of character. Our room was clean, quiet, and thoughtfully designed, with a comfortable bed and lovely views. It’s not overly luxurious, but it has heart, and that made all the difference. Now the food. The in-house restaurants deliver true 5-star quality. Every dish we had was creative, perfectly executed, and packed with flavor. We ended up having dinner there both nights and were impressed each time. Breakfasts were just as delightful—fresh, generous, and beautifully presented. Management was visible and involved, making sure everything was just right. That kind of genuine hospitality really stood out and elevated the whole stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing stay with incredible food and top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back.

We stayed at Hôtel de Rougemont for a romantic getaway, and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like home : warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Every interaction felt personal, and the service throughout our stay was impeccable.||The rooms are absolutely stunning – tastefully decorated with a cozy, luxurious alpine charm. Our suite had breathtaking mountain view’s, and every detail was thoughtfully designed for comfort and style. It felt like our own private retreat nestled in the Alps.||The facilities were perfect for a relaxing escape. We especially loved the spa – serene, beautifully maintained, and the ideal place to unwind after a day exploring. The restaurant served delicious, locally-inspired cuisine with an elegant touch, and breakfast was a generous spread of fresh, high-quality options.||Rougemont itself is a picture-perfect Swiss mountain village – quiet, charming, and authentic – and just a stone’s throw from glamorous Gstaad, which makes day trips easy without sacrificing peace and quiet.||This hotel truly has it all: luxury, charm, and heartfelt hospitality. We can’t recommend Hôtel de Rougemont enough and are already dreaming of our return!

Good hotel in general, but a bit at a distance from Gstaad. The spa is rather disappointing. Food in the restaurant is nicely presented and tasty. Well done to the chef! Service can be a bit more professional.

Stunning alpine views of valley and mountains, outstanding cuisine, lovely peaceful atmosphere, great service and good facilities (gym, small spa). The staff were extremely helpful. Great location to explore the entire area including Gruyere, Gstaad, Les Diablerets and various beautiful villages nearby.

Hôtel de Rougemont is the perfect blend of chic and cozy chalet charm. It felt like a home away from home, and we loved every minute of it! Beautiful room, warm and attentive staff, amazing spa, and breathtaking views. Book spa treatments in advance and explore the scenic trails—e-biking or hiking from the village is a must. We can’t wait to come back!

Overall, the experience was good across all areas—service, food, spa, and rooms—but not exceptional. Highlights: The spa and massage treatments were excellent. Lowlights: Coffee and cocktails were underwhelming. The suite had an odd layout: both the bed and the bathtub were positioned in a way that didn’t take advantage of the view.

Lovely hotel in a great area for hiking and skiing. Beautiful rooms, great food, convenient train service to Gstaad and elsewhere if you're not driving.

We recently stayed at this beautiful hotel and truly had a memorable experience. We were met with kindness and welcoming smiles. My daughter and her husband were guests as well. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and the beds incredibly comfortable. The location is serene and the views absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed the pool and the spa and indulged in a wonderful massage. This hotel definitely exceeded our expectations. The kindness of the staff, the location, the food and the rooms truly made our stay very special. I’d highly recommend the hotel for a truly luxurious alpine stay.

Yelp
The hotel is impressive. Small in size, only 19 rooms, it delivers in a big way. Excellent service, first class amenities (spa, pool, steam/sauna rooms, movie theater), and a food & wine menu that will please anyone are all part of the experience. The on-property restaurant, Le Roc, served the best rack of lamb (roasted with hay, served with flavorful new potatoes and accompanying au jour) I have ever had. My wife got the monkfish, which was equally delicious. In season, this seams to be a hopping hotel, so reservations must be made far in advance.

Yelp
For our anniversary. Wow!!! Amazing decor. Designer boutique hotel. Staff was very helpful they helped plan our day made recommendations, reservation s and also provided free rides from station to hotel. One we were running late the gentleman drove us two stations away to make sure we don't miss our train. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared with ingredients locally soucred.
