This comfortable and simple hotel is conveniently located not far from the bustling center of Amersfoort. If you're a fan of Indonesian food, it's just a few meters away from Toko Tjin, making it easy to grab some local delights. We stayed with a few band members, and they occupied a 4-person room on the top floor. The large windows could be opened, letting fresh air flow through the room, making it a refreshing and pleasant stay.

Small and very basic rooms. Price/quality ratio not ideal. Good location. On the response of the owner that I've selected the smallest rooms myself, I am aware of that. I mentioned that I didn't feel the price/quality ratio was in order based on my experience. If anyone wants to pay more for a jacuzzi, sure go ahead, hope you'll have fun. I won't return here though because I stick with my initial point and that the small room was, though technically enough for my needs, overcharged.

Stayed for business trip. Staff very friendly and rigid. The outside building is old north European style, very well refurbished inside. Rooms are big and well furnished but cold. Even though the heater was set at “5” we all felt cold. Some rooms have windows on the street so noises can be lordly hear also because windows are not insulated. Bathroom is just minimum standard. Extremely good the breakfast. Served at the table with coffe, tea, milk, bread, cheese, cold cuts and eggs (delicious eggs). Cannot park on the street so you might park at Flinn parking 5’ walk.

Hotel is completely of legacy Europeans architecture. They just modified interiors with some better decorations and other than that you see everything is normal or sometimes with some rooms its below average as well. Rooms are tiny and bath rooms are really tiny that some one cannot fit in there and couldn't use a shower. There is no house keeping done for the entire one week stay for me, that I had to live with all the dusts surrounded by me, we need to ask everything as explicit to them. Receptionist are not helpful enough for any emergency cases. Can consider this hotel only for the Old city center location.

Good location, nice building, spacious rooms, but the staff was exceptionally unpleasant. We arrived half an hour early and before we even asked anything (we only wanted to ask if we could drop off 2 bags to go into town before checking in on the appropriate time) we were asked to leave because 'it said so in the email we had received'. Moreover, the staff talked about us with us in the room, instead of with us. We just generally felt very unwelcome, which for us is an important thing when we travel somewhere. I don't feel entitled to anything; just a decent manner of communication would've helped. Would not recommend because of this.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I had a room at the top of the building in the roof which was very atmospheric. The jacuzzi in the corner was fun. There was a problem with the jacuzzi and the lady on duty came up with a very creative solution to allow me to use it. Everything was extremely clean. The waitress at breakfast was very helpful with my dietary needs. The floor near the jacuzzi was a little uneven from being too damp now and again. A table for working at would have been nice as would a bathroom surface for putting my toiletries - but I asked for neither.

Great location to visit the city, everything withing walking distance. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but offers charming rooms. The beds are comfortable and the room spacious. Good hotel for a city trip.

This Hotel is not closed even though it states it on Google Maps. I and my 2 brothers stayed here and loved it. They were very helpful to our requests as they helped us explore the town, find an outstanding dinner spot, and find the location where our family lived prior to the bombing during WW II. The garden was particularly pleasant for an afternoon/evening beverage, the rooms were neat and clean, and the morning breakfast was particularly fine. We would all recommend it highly.
