We had an amazing stay at Hotel Degli Artisti! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and eager to help. Check-in was quick and effortless, and our room was spotless and beautifully decorated. We especially loved having two separate bathrooms — such a thoughtful touch! A special mention goes to Vasco, the bartender, who truly exceeded our expectations. He was incredibly friendly, speaking English with me and Spanish with my wife, which made us feel right at home. His kindness and professionalism were a big part of what made our stay so enjoyable.

Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. Rooms were quiet, beautiful, and clean. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was so amazing. They had an upstairs terrace outdoors that were we could relax and enjoy views of the city. The hotel was conveniently located. We will definitely stay here again.

The staff was fantastic and incredibly friendly. Alex at the front desk was very helpful and much appreciated. The breakfast was incredibly good and the rooms were very clean. Great location if you want to visit all the big landmarks. Would definitely stay here if I visited Rome again.

What a fantastic hotel. From the minute we walked in we were greeted warmly by Christina who couldn't have been nicer. Because we were early the rooms were not ready yet which we expected but Christina got us cappuccinos and explained a place to freshen up. Within an hour a room was ready. The rooms was clean and quiet. Christina gave us some suggestions for lunch and reminded us of our reservation for dinner. One reason we chose the hotel was for the rooftop lounge/ bar with a hot tub. We only stayed on night but the breakfast buffet was great and after packing and storing our bags with Christina we laid in the sun in the lounge and waited for our transfer. We had a 3 pm pickup and when the transfer was not there by 3 Christina was right on the phone to make sure they were coming. We cannot be more appreciative of the kindness and warmness of all the staff even though our stay was short.

If you are looking for a truly beautiful, friendly, and welcoming boutique Italian hotel, I would strongly recommend this family owned gem. The hotel is located in a classic Roman neighborhood just steps away from the Spanish Steps and great shopping and restaurants. The staff was exceptional and by the end of our stay, we felt like we were part of the family that owned the hotel! Thank you to Francesca, her Papa, Mama, Vasco, and the entire staff! Their hospitality and service, including local restaurant recommendations made our visit to Rome the highlight of our entire trip!

The Hotel Degli Artisti is such a great place! My family of 4 stayed 6 days and I must say the staff made us feel like we were home! Everyone was friendly while still providing great hotel service, it did not ever feel over done. The room was clean and comfortable for 4. The breakfast buffet was beautiful and good and the morning cappuccinos were delicious. The roof top jacuzzi was refreshing after touring all day and the view of Rome was breathtaking. Last but by far the best part was the little bar on the roof deck. Our bartender Vasco absolutely made our trip, he was always happy to see us. Made us amazing drinks,some we know and some local Italian cocktails that I would not have known to try. Sitting at the bar in the evening and chatting with Vasco about life, music and Italy was the best. We laughed a lot as he so patiently and gently helped me to speak Italian better. He truly made our trip to Rome so much more than I could have expected. Vasco grazie mille!

The hotel has lovely decor with a combination of a traditional, old fashioned feel with modern touches. The lounge on the roof was great to relax in the evening for some fresh air and a beverage. The staff was very kind, helpful, and attentive. There was much to do within walking distance or a short taxi or metro ride from the hotel. I would definitely repeat.

Your hotel is beautiful and our room was extremely comfortable. In addition, your staff were amazing - friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. In fact, the owner's daughter recommended a beautiful beach for us to visit. ||In particular, I would like to put the spotlight on Alex. In all my years of traveling around the world, I have never before experienced the level of service he provided during our stay. From arrival to departure, he repeatedly went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of our needs. ||Two specific examples I would like to share:||1) We experienced a complication with our pre-arranged transportation. He made multiple calls to the company, on our behalf, to resolve the problem.||2) He also arranged transportation for us to a beach in Santa Severa. While we were on the beach, I received a call from the transportation company questioning the previously agreed cost of our transportation. I called Alex and, once again, he called the company, as well as our driver, to resolve the misunderstanding. In his words, "It will be taken care of. You just enjoy your time at the beach." Sure enough, it was resolved!||Alex demonstrates a true dedication to ensuring your guests, like my wife and myself, enjoy a hassle-free experience. Again, never before have I experienced such amazing service from anyone.

I enjoyed my time here! The location was perfect! Not on a busy street but, close to all of the centrally located attractions. They were very up front when we arrived at 8am after a very long flight. Offered us a cappuccino and gave us a time to come back to check in. The room was nice and clean. I loved the shampoo and conditioner they provided! This was the only place in Italy that my hair did not feel like straw. I was confused initially by the ac/heating. We had it set to cool but, it feel like every time it turned on, it was hot. I asked and found out that the heat was still on. Opening the window for a bit before we went to sleep made it a great temp. The breakfast was good for a hotel this size. It is a hotel breakfast but, the workers were quick to offer you a drink every morning which was wonderful. We needed to be in and out and not having to wait was exactly what I needed. Overall, it felt like a smaller boutique hotel that was happy to help when asked. I would 100% stay here again on my next visit in Rome.

This a great home base while visiting Rome. The hotel is very accessible to the metro station. And about 5-7 minute walk to the Spanish steps and shopping area. Lots of great places to eat nearby. Located in a safe and quiet location. My mom and I enjoyed our stay. The facility and accommodations were nice and staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Recommend staying here!

While in Rome on a trip with my mother, we stayed at the Hotel Degli Artisti. The location was perfect for getting to see all that Rome had to offer. Walking distance from the Spanish Steps and also from the metro line, the location was ideal. The hotel itself was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and the linens were soft. The shower had good water pressure and the cleaning staff made sure to restock all items as necessary. The rooftop bar was nice, although disappointing that we could not enjoy it with our own purchased beverages. We really did not feel like paying hotel bar prices to sit up there and enjoy the view. The complementary breakfast in the morning sufficed and offered a variety of pastries and savory options. It definitely ended up saving us money on our trip as we did not have to purchase coffee or breakfast out. The staff that we interacted with ranged pleasant and helpful to cold and indifferent. It seemed that most of the women who worked at the hotel were kind and engaging while most of the men seemed annoyed and bothered. All in all, if I came back to Rome, I may or may not stay here again.

This is a boutique hotel that was the best surprise on our trip. It looks very unassuming on the street but you walk into a comfortable lobby with a great front desk staff that is professional and helpful. The room are not overly large but the air conditioning was top notch! It's in a fantastic location - 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps and 15 from Trevi Fountain plus much more. The staff through the hotel was attentive and proficient. One of our favorite features after a long day of walking and exploring was the rooftop bar that has a great view of Rome on the uppermost deck (where the hot tub is) and the best bartender on our trip! Dmitri was personable, funny, an impressive mixologist and was a wealth of knowledge regarding Rome, the area and local restaurants. We would gladly stay here again!!

Booked a room for three people. One queen bed and one sofa bed The only problem was that the sofa bed you couldn't pull out to make it a bed because the room was so small. What they did was put a mattress topper over the sofa. Basically you are sleeping on a couch. Very uncomfortable ... I did complain and they changed rooms for us .... Was not pleased .... I was told to book the deluxe room the next time. I don't understand how you can make someone sleep on a couch with one side being the side of the sofa

Staying for several nights in Roma! This is our first time here, but it is a beautiful and comfortable hotel! Perfect for our needs, and high end. Highly recommend! The concierge is super helpful and they are very friendly!

This boutique hotel complete my Italy experience. Our room was so bright and cute. Decor is simple but with good taste. Small bar at the entrance very cute as well. Breakfast very good as well. Hotel is very well located and easy to get around to great restaurants on the area. Highly recommended.

The staff is incredibly rude. We also booked our rooms far in advance and confided a conjoining room. Once we arrived we were told they did not have that available and offered nothing in return, not even an apology. With so many nice hotels in the area, there is no reason to stay here again.

Very clean and nicely remodeled hotel. The rooftop terrace has awesome views of Rome. Great breakfast, staff were very kind and helpful. Walking distance to a lot of stores and restaurants. I highly recommend this place.
