Hotel Deimann (Schmallenberg, North Rhine-Westphalia) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Hotel Deimann has the advantage of being located in Schmallenberg, Germany, a town known for its restorative climate and astounding natural beauty. Even better, this former estate can back that up with thoughtful design and timeless hospitality. From its traditional wood façade to its plentiful gardens to its expansive onsite spa, Deimann makes for the ideal Sauerland getaway. Around here, daily walks pay off: the hotel manages both a golf course café and a forest hut with local pilsner on tap, plus weekly barbecues." - Tablet Hotels

Sometimes, when you're the only one to offer something, you may decide to rest on your unique selling point. This hotel doesn't.||From arrival to departure, this stay has been a wonderful experience.||When you arrive, the first thing you're asked to do is to sit down and enjoy a welcome drink. Once you've settled down for a bit, one of the front office agents will come sit with you and talk you through your stay.||They will answer questions and assist you with anything you might need help with.||In addition to the 5 star superior hotel category, they also have a Michelin star restaurant. If you get the chance, try to spend at least one evening there as well.||Then there's a gigantic wellness and spa area. They had an adults only section as well. It was beautiful and quiet.||The rooms are modern and well maintained as well.

For my wife and I, our week in a fabulous junior suite overlooking the lake was simply fantastic. I cannot find any fault, or small detail that we were not happy with. The hotel staff provided top quality service in all areas. I have never reviewed a hotel where I have concluded with everything was perfect, but for us it was, absolutely perfect in every way.

We truly enjoyed our experience! Phenomenal hospitality all around - from beginning to end! We would especially like to give a shout out to Fiona for doing a great job taking care of our table - she is great with little kids and is very good at her job! We will be back!

You want to enjoy your Urlaub days in a country side?, yeah this hotel is the perfect place for you. There are Michelin star restaurants around and there are a lot cool places to go around the hotel. Pools are nice and overall comfort especially is great

If you have lots of money and lots of time this may be an excellent hotel choice. It is set in wooded mountains in a beautiful parkland setting. If you like walking up hills in the woods then you will enjoy your time here. Breakfast sets you up well for the day. It is vast and coffee and tea along with fresh juices are great. Freshly cooked egg dishes made to order are a further joy.||Personally, we found that we booked a room that was very expensive to give us the facilities we wanted (bath tub and air conditioning - the air conditioning is not very effective). To get those facilities we had to book a junior suite with a lovely balcony and a large seating area which we enjoyed but the private sauna in the room was not something we wanted. To be fair the room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. A few English language channels beyond 'news' channels or the ability to chromecast from one's i-pad would have made it even better. ||Swimming pool indoor and outdoor is very enjoyable and not too crowded.||The location is lovely, but quite remote. It takes a long time to get there from an autobahn and once there, opportunities to travel to nearby destinations are limited, so you really do need to focus on the hotel facilities of golf, walking and the swimming pool.||We booked half board and while this comprises a lot of courses after a few days the experience started to become too similar and we longed for less but better. For example, there was always a choice of main course of meat, fish or vegetarian but the meat and fish tended to be small and over cooked and smothered in foams. ||The best aspect of the hotel by far is the friendly, helpful and enthusiastic staff, particularly in the restaurant. However, overall we were disappointed in that when we compare with other German and Austrian hotels with similar facilities and even more beautiful locations, this was a lot more expensive.

We stayed in this hotel for four days and had a very positive experience. Room, food, wellness area and treatments were excellent.|For the next time we will ask before reserving if there is a free table in the Michelin starred restaurant.|As a beer lover there is a couple of points I regret; they still tap in the out-dated way of 7 minutes Pils,by the time you get it the temperature has risen and the freshness has gone. The wine-card is great ,but a few belgian speciality beers would be welcomed by beer lovers as well

We'd booked a double room with half board for 525 Euro per night. Pricy, so one may expect impeccable service. The room was really standard like most hotel rooms. Honestly, I'd expected a bit better in a 5 star hotel. The balcony, charged at 50 Euro extra per night was tiny and had a view as shown in the picture on weeds and a rooftop. (photo) Early in the morning you could glimpse a bit of sun though... We've nothing to complain about the restaurant and its excellent team. That was up to standards. Also the wellness is very good with a lovely swimming pool. Due to old ventilators in our bathroom and in those in neighboring rooms there were loud humming sounds during the night that woke me. After a rather bad night I complained and we got a different room with less noisy ventilators. So far so good. Roomservice would bring our two bags to our new room before 2 pm that day, we'd nothing to worry about. Nonetheless, we'd packed most ourselves already and placed all ready to bring over. At 3 pm my husband checked but nothing had happened. He had to take action and room service had forgotten part of my luggage still. Luckily we found out later and I personally checked the old room as we'd lost all faith that they could manage such a simple task. So with such rooms and room service I can't give Deimann 5 stars.

Very nice and cosy hotel with very friendly staff and excellent service.. we had a very delicious dinner at the restaurant. The only disadvantage, as for me, is a very simple breakfast (without cappuccino or espresso) which was too pricey, i think . In general you guys make a very good job, improve and vary your breakfast menu and you'll be perfect! Good luck and thanks for your job!
