Lovely old facility in a great location but few modern amenities. Spartan breakfast (continental) with grumpy service but the desk staff were helpful and cheerful. A big thank you to the masseuse Marguerita, who was EXCELLENT and cured the crippling leg pain I was experiencing. I highly recommend her very affordable service.

Did not like this hotel. The staff was unfriendly, did not speak any English, camera's everywhere. Sitting in the garden quietly reading my book, got sent away because it past 21.00 hr. Had to stay there a few days longer because my travel companion got sick. No roomservice, tea Coffee or water available whatsover despite it being on the website. If you ask for extra toiletpaper they ask your room and charge you? Pool and gardens were nice and the young guy serving breakfast nice aswell.

The building has plenty of character with a number of small areas for sitting both inside and out. It is not a large place, but they manage to have a small pool (towels from reception) and nice tiny planted areas. Our deluxe room was very large and a comfortable base for our three night stay. You are on a quiet street yet can walk to restaurants and tourist sights in minutes. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and thankfully spoke good English. We got a bus from from the airport (8A from the main road at the airport entrance - an easy walk) and picked up our Hertz hire car just a five minute walk from the hotel - very convenient. The only downside for us was the breakfast, not the service or quality of what we had - apart from the orange “juice” - but the lack of any cheese, ham or eggs. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We were guests at the Hotel Antiguo Convento for one night. We arrived in the evening and checked out very early.||The location of the hotel is very good. You can get to the center in a few minutes by foot.||The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. So was the bathroom. The air conditioning was a bit older but did its job.||Now the breakfast was not so big. There were not many choices. But it was quite ok. It would be better to have a bigger one with more choices.||We have unfortunately not seen the Pool.||In general, the price-performance ratio was very good.

This hotel has a lot going for it. Central position on historic Salta's most charming street, but quiet, located in atmospheric and rambling colonial-period building, pleasant patios, helpful staff, good-sized rooms. But it badly needs modernisation - the room decor had seen better days, the bathroom was completely outdated, no place to recharge devices except with adaptor. Breakfa st very poor. A pity.

We stayed here for two nights and were quite happy. The room was very spacious and spot on clean. From peaking into the smaller rooms, I think it's worth while to invest in the "executive" category, the small Rrooms on the Ground Floor felt quite cramped. The hotel has several court yards, and a small pool. Service is friendly enough, although very distant. But I think we only noticed because we normally stay in B&Bs, where you just talk more to the owner/staff. The location of the hotel is great, so we can definitely recommend it!

The hotel is well located to the central square and excellent restaurants are within walking distance. The staff are warm and welcoming and found them to be very accommodating which is ideal when travelling solo. Lovely fresh breakfast options and the coffee is reasonable which has been difficult to find. Love a good coffee first thing in the morning this has been a challenge. Highly recommend this hotel.

The location is very good: just outside the busy center. Unfortunately they do not have their own parking space. They do have an agreement with the parking garage on the same side of the street, just before you reach the hotel. That can be useful to know because you usually can't get rid of the car anywhere on the street to unload the luggage.||No own restaurant. The breakfast is unfortunately also minimal.||We had a different room on two different occasions. The first one was not too bad because some light came from the courtyard. The last one, number 1, only had windows that were in the hallway. The curtains could therefore not open and for ventilation there was only a narrow tube in the bathroom. The beds were ok and everything was clean. The bathroom was a bit dated.||Friendly and very helpful staff, perfect English.
