Where to Stay in Los Angeles (Updated 2025)

"I found this simple, centrally located budget option in Beverly Hills to be a rare affordable choice in the area; it’s basic but convenient, with Rodeo Drive just a short walk away when you want an eyeful of the one percent." - Matthew Kepnes

Staying at Hotel Flores was hands-down one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in LA. From the moment I arrived, everything felt thoughtful, warm, and effortlessly stylish. The hotel itself is beautifully designed — modern, clean, and cozy at the same time. My room was spotless, comfortable, and incredibly quiet, which is rare in Los Angeles. The bed was amazing, the linens felt luxurious, and every detail showed real attention to quality. What truly sets Hotel Flores apart is the service. The staff was genuinely kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations or anything I needed. You can feel that they actually care about their guests. The location is another huge plus — close to great restaurants, cafés, and major spots in LA, yet peaceful enough to relax after a long day. It felt like the perfect balance between city energy and calm retreat. If you’re looking for a hotel that feels personal, stylish, and high-end without being pretentious, Hotel Flores is it. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Los Angeles.

It was not bad experience especially in this area with this price, Receptionist was nice and friendly, Bathroom was clean, AC was working, TV was working, Hotel was so quiet I didn't see any dirty stuff in my room. It is so close to the shopping area, the Whole food store is located down the corner, it's a great location generaly at the heart of Beverly Hills but they need to work on renovation. Everything was old. There is still a key 🔑 to open the door instead of a card or Fob... in the year 2025 with AI magic. I go with 3-star, it should be fair.

Staying Here For The BioHacking Conference Was So Much Fun! lol So Much History! Nextime I Will Get An Air Condioned Room.. Otherwise The Experience Was So Novel & Fun lol Walking Distance To The Iconic Beverly Hills Market That Is Also Family Owned 🥹 #GoodTimes ❤️‍🔥

Google
It's great cute rooms but 300 dollar security deposit you have to wait a week to get back. The person working tried to explain it as a car loan. They gas light like it's normal but I've had cheaper motels with lower down deposits that I got back that next day. It's really nothing special

Google
Avoid at all costs. The owner / manager is simply not a nice person. This place is truly run down. Shared bathroom!!!! Location is good and I think that is why they are still in business otherwise they would not be. You have been warned

Google
I was quite disappointed with my stay. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty and the room had a strong unpleasant odor. I truly wonder how anyone can feel comfortable staying here despite paying such a price. I had chosen this hotel mainly for its good location, but unfortunately, the cleanliness was far below expectations. I sincerely request the hotel management to replace the old, unhygienic carpets and improve the overall cleanliness of the rooms. Guests do not always expect luxury at a lower price, but basic hygiene and cleanliness are fundamental expectations. Due to the smell, I couldn't even sleep properly throughout the night.

Google
This is truly a bed & shower type of lodging. The location is perfect if looking to stay within the Golden Triangle. Housekeeping will assist you if you ask, make sure to tip. The rooms are old & not maintained. The sink & shower faucet barely had water coming out, the light fixtures were missing bulbs and the window blinds did not work properly. Front desk is not much of help either. Even though it still got the job done, they could have put in more effort into improving my stay.

Google
Positive: The double bed was comfortable, and it was quiet at night. The bathroom was clean, as was the kitchen, Negative: ""

Yelp
Hotel Del Flores could improve on everything!!! It's literally a bed and breakfast, minus the comfy bed and breakfast. They have a communal kitchen? It literally looks like someone is living there. The host told that a lot of prostitution goes on here and they always find bodily fluid stains on the floor and bed?! They felt really comfortable sharing a lot uncomfortable details with us... There was only one person who helped us and she a kind old lady and was professional speaking with me. She helped me tremendously! Now does that balance out the experience here... no. The room was funky and the windows are see through. They will charge for everything... Horrible.

Kaine M.

Yelp
Beds comfy. Staff is nice. So are the guests but I don't think you book something based on that. I turned the shower on and red...substance(?) rinsed off the floor. I've literally never showered in a hotel with chanclas on. Speaking of red substances, our sheets are stained red with only what I can HOPE to be wine. This hotel is so old that the probable asbestos in the walls is probably the safest material you'll encounter. When I say old, I mean Marilyn Monroe's grandma probably stayed here and thought it was old. Only come here as a last option. It's cheap for a reason. Edit: it says parking on booking.com. There isn't. You will pay for parking. Bruh I cannot warn you enough. This ain't the place.

Yelp
We booked for 5 nights as this hotel was the cheapest in Beverly Hills. Much cheaper than others. Hotel front desk staff was very nice. As soon as I checked in they say "Your travel agent may have forgot to tell you, but we don't have rooms with bathrooms. You have to use a shared bathroom in the hall". OMG in Los Angeles? Gross. The front lobby was quaint and looked like 1920s LA. The rest of the hotel was filthy, old, dirty, run down. The rooms have spring coil military style beds that you cannot sleep on. There is a wash sink directly in the middle of the room. Half the lights are burnt out. 3" of dusk on the blinds and ceiling fan. After 1 night we check out. The public shared bathroom is just absolutely disgusting.
google avatar

Yan G.

Yelp
If the room I had gotten resembled the pictures of the rooms on the this hotel's website, it would have been worth it. But, the room I got was much worse. There were stains on the wall, all of the 'furniture' was in disrepair (it was obvious they just found anything to fill up space), and there was an odor. It looked like they made no effort to make it look remotely nice. In fairness to them, when I arrived I asked for a room on the top floor and the manager said the room I was given on the top floor was the only one left. However, if the rooms are advertised to look a certain way, they all need to reflect that to some degree because people rely on those representations when they book their trips.

Yelp
I understand why the business doesn't want to claim this Yelp page. I mean, would you? Anyways, I'm kind of torn. I feel bad that this is an old building and that I'd be kind of picking on it but truthfully, they have let it go to pot and not sure they care. See the pictures. Not good. A metal table with tacky shelving paper covering it that was dirty and peeling. Dirty carpet. The dresser was a mess. The blinds didn't work. The vanity sink area was dirty and the front cabinet door was lopsided. The "lobby" is a depressing shambles of mix match furniture and projects left unfinished. The only reason we picked it was due to the price and being on New Year's Eve. Actually, I didn't pick it. I wouldn't have picked it. I would have paid more to stay elsewhere, but oh well.

Yelp
I thought being close to my destination was an advantage, but Motel 6 a few miles further out offers more for less... I was surprised that getting into my room took guesswork, there's no lighting for the room 14 doorway. Inside it was a struggle to close and lock windows, blinds were stuck partially open, and there was only a bed and a chest to set things on no desk, chair or phone. The room was clean and livable, and the TV and WiFi worked well. The room clearly had lots of coats-of-paint to keep dressing it up and maybe hide some aging secrets. I was most put off by my presumed dishonesty. As I checked in I was handed small items separately and loosing one would cost $50, I found out that parking was an extra $12, and that I had to sign to agree to as much as $449.00 of extra charges for my $139 room.

Yelp
The location is great for the price. You will have to check in first to get the parking key and hidden location, hopefully you have someone to circle around the block until then. It's an older building with a Thrift/Goodwill smell to it - that musty, grandma's attic-y smell. The place is a Hostel type environment, with the communal bathroom. The shower didn't have space to bring your towel and clean clothes, it's a closet size space they would just get wet. There was no air conditioner, so don't go when hot. You will only be miserable. It's good for a quick one night only stay. Truly for the price you can't complain to much lol. The price and location great, but it's just a two star hotel. PS. Read Iris M. review from 7 years ago. I read her's after writing mine, and it's spot on after all these years.

J L.

Yelp
I've stayed here before and had a really positive experience. But this time around my experience has been really surprising. I got a room with an air conditioner, which I've really needed because it's been very hot and I've had to work from my room a number of days. But the air conditioner does not work; it blows out warm air, in fact. I've spoken to the staff three times about this, each time in a very polite way. Hotel del Flores is not fancy, and I appreciate that about it. But I was promised an air conditioner, and this one is not working. The response I've gotten is "The room is what it is." No attempt to fix the air conditioner or move me. Just, "tough." One of the clerks has also been really belligerent. She kind of yells at me for bringing it up. I take her reaction to mean she's frustrated too, and probably I'm not the first person she's had to deal with who's mentioning this. But it has not felt great to have her take that out on me. I was told the only thing I could do is email the info address with my concerns. I've done so now, and I'm hoping they'll refund some of my money. We'll see how it goes. Again, this hotel has a great location, it's very affordable, and the last time I was here the atmosphere was really wonderful. I don't know what's going on right now, but it's definitely worrisome. Something to be aware of.

Yelp
This hotel is absolutely disgusting. There were stains on our sheets, pillows, rust in the tub, broken furniture, missing lightbulbs, odors leaking from the toilet and so on. The worst part was the staff was incredibly rude and knew they were not up to standard with anything. When asked to speak to the manager, three times (two by phone on different occasions) they answered "they are unavailable" so quickly you could tell it was their go to. This place should be shut down. Absolutely repulsive. And in Beverly Hills no less?! Not an experience I'd wish upon anyone.

Samantha B.

Yelp
This is literally the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life!! Don't be fooled by the charming lobby, the rest of the place is a nightmare! I hear a lot of people saying that the location is the best part. Honestly this place is so bad it doesn't even matter! If you can't afford Beverly Hills then stay somewhere else closer, cleaner and go into BH for the day. This is not worth it! Literally the only reason why I stayed here is because I needed a room on a Sat to finalize some stuff because I'm moving to BH. I thought to myself how bad can a hotel right in BH be? Oh trust me, it's bad!! If I could go back in time I'd pay the $500 to stay 1 night at the Plaza vs $175 to live in terror for a day. The tub - Fithy, covered in black stains. I did not shower. The furniture - Falling apart and gross, looks like some of it was covered in white out in an attempt to hide chipping. The walls, ceilings outlets etc - Crumbling, chipping etc Noise level - I did not sleep because people were going in and out of their rooms every second to use the common bathrooms and it is an extremely old building No heat/AC - They give a little space heater Finally - The doors barely lock! Leaving the room could barely lock it, took several tries. FINALLY, woke up and my door was open. I know for a fact I locked it! Nothing was stolen etc but I know I locked my door! I would rather sleep in my car than stay here.

Yelp
For it being a last minute choice to stay in LA this hotel was the lowest priced one I could find and it was conveniently located less than 10 minutes away from where I wanted to go. I'm not gonna say it was a five star hotel but I'm also not gonna say it was a rundown dump. It was very cute, a small real homey feeling. Had a communal kitchen each room has its own restroom so you didn't have to show that it was odd that the seat was like outside of the restroom but interesting beds were nice and clean no signs of any kind of bedbugs no stains all in all it was a good stay. I do have to say though what really made my stay fun and nice was at the front desk agent named Gabrielle who goes by Gabi. She was so nice and informative she was very helpful and funny I really enjoyed the check in process with her. This is a great place to safely store your car, get ready for your night, get a car from a riding app, go out and get hammered then get a ride back to the hotel and know that you won't spend much because it is close by and you won't have a chance of getting a DUI

David S.

Yelp
Terrible hotel. Will charge you extra fees while you check in. Not worth the headache and the rooms are terrible.
google avatar

Bishop L J G.

Yelp
This is the most odious hotel which is more like a Motel or Hostile! The rooms are from the 70's and you have to share a restroom with others on the floor that your hot non air conditioned room is on. SMH, if this place was anywhere other than Beverly Hills it wouldn't be allowed to use the word Hotel. The front desk staff are rude, unprofessional and disrespectful when you ask questions! When I ask the woman at the front desk for her name she refused to give it she just closed the window! Save yourself the aggravation book a real Hotel when you're in Beverly Hills

Kenneth G.

Yelp
DO NOT BO OK HERE! If I could give a ZERO STAR I would. The rudest staff. No support. They charged me for 4 nights and I didn't even walk through the door. I have tried for 3 weeks to get a refund (again, I didn't even stay there) and they will not refund me. I don't know how they're still in business. When we call them, they yell at us and hang up. We've emailed them to talk to the manager, NO REPLY. I am blown away that the BBB has not shut them down. If I wanted someone to take my money for no reason and yell at me for no reason, I'd just go visit my ex wife! Hotel Del Flores, email and call me back and make this right. You owe me $450.90 plus interest. I'm self employed. I've spent 18 hours trying to get through to you guys. I typically charge my clients $100/hr. So, I'm no mathematician but I could bill you the $1,800 plus the $450 = $2,250.90. Sound like good business? I think so since you clearly don't mind screwing people over.

Yelp
NOT RECOMMENDED I've been traveling for 12+ years both for work and fun, I never had an unpleasant experience like this. I booked the hotel becuase of the location-price benefit. Uncomfortable bed, no showring supplies, over used towels, unprofessional staff, etc. It was a horrific experience and they want to charge me for the nights that I canceled. Still working with hotels.com to figure that out.
google avatar

Nina S.

Yelp
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I wouldn't give them even half a star. They must close this place immediately! Shame on them for calling it a hotel!!! It's worse than a homeless shelter! The place smells like PEE! Everything is disgusting and the old lady at the desk is crazy and not nice at all!! I ask her " is it safe to stay here?" And she said " I don't know, I'm not sleeping here, I'm going home at night and I'm not your psychiatrist!" And she was smiling at me when I asked my money back and said " that's your problem " I wasn't staying there and went to a different place. There's no AC, sheets are dirty , restrooms inside a closet! I'm going to post it anywhere I can It's better to sleep at the street.
google avatar

Happy C.

Yelp
Don't stay here unless you have no choice. It smells, it's dirty, it's old. No coffee maker, no fan, only one set of towels and if you need more, pay extra $5. Too many rules and extra charges for everything. Staff was unprofessional. TV remote control didn't work even after requesting a new one. It's way too overpriced. Toilet stinks and dirty.
google avatar

Yelp
Worst hotel. We paid for room 1 week ago checked in last night and the clerk was not paying attention and ran my card for the full amount of room and parking. Called manager have to wait til following day when mgr is supposed to come in and refund. Now this morning this jerk off at the window wont call mgr has attitude and smart alleck remarks. Wont answer my questions, what point is customer service if u dont have any pleasant service. Whoever is running this hotel needs people with hospitality as thats what market they are in.
google avatar

Yelp
This is absolutely the place to stay in Beverly Hills on a budget ! The building is older and very cute - right across the street from the Beverly Hills City Hall and Library. Rodeo Dr is just 2 blocks away ( Nate and Al's Restaurant is a terrific place to eat ). The rooms are basic, but cozy and the staff are always polite and helpful. Have stayed there twice and will definitely be back !
google avatar

Pink L.

Yelp
Don't stay here horrible customer service place is dirty as fuck. They owe me 16 bucks still don't worry I'll come pick up my cash and I will call health department too. U need to give me back my money

Hugo P.

Yelp
The service is terrible!!! They are rude and unprofessional. The rooms are aging poorly, everything is braking its extremely dirty. It's extremely loud do to next to Main Street and no noice insulation. The worst part has to be the lobby receptionist. The one girl with glasses looks and acts like she hates her work. You are better off sleeping in your car.

Son N.

Yelp
Please never ever stay at this horrible place. Better stay at the Motel 6 than this run down place. I was accidentally book through Expedia and was very disappointed. Here are some of the pictures I took in the room that I was in.
google avatar

Rex M.

Yelp
Extremely bad, bath tub rusted out, not usable for years, blinds can't be lowered because strings pulled out and missing, so no privacy, surly sullen staff, overcharge your cards if you dare to present them. Beware!
google avatar

Max M.

Yelp
They should seriously rename this place from Hotel del Flores to Hotel Dirty Sanchez because this place is a shit hole. Where do I begin. First of all the website says there was free wifi, free parking, and air conditioning. Let me be the first to tell you, these claims are no more real than Santa Clause. As we walked into our room, the smell of cat piss was prevalent. Both beds were in very bad shape. The bathroom was across the hallway. And some guy was taking a dump in the next room and we could hear the splashes. Please do yourself a favor and don't stay here. It will haunt your dreams.
google avatar

Tim M.

Yelp
Look, it's a great location and price point and not the Peninsula Hotel at $800+ per night. Check in was easy and my room while modest is clean and eclectic. The bed is comfortable and again you can't beat the location. I suspect each room is different, but my room is just fine as I'm on a budget. I too read the reviews and saw the negative ones which did not apply to my experience thus I give 4 stars. So far from what I've seen, I would come back. Just know if you want shampoo and conditioner, bring your own as clean towels and soap is all you get. Again, a great bargain in the very heart of Beverly Hills.
google avatar

Olga P.

Yelp
The worse hotel ever ! We run out after one night, early in the morning, being eaten by bugs and experiencing horrible smell!!!! We saw 4 different rooms before we checked in. Wow! Colorful nasty spots on the carpet. Junky furniture from the garbage, smell of damp and mold.... We previously reserved two rooms for two night on www.hotels.com The photos of the rooms on their website are NOT REAL. We had guests foreigners visiting with us. What a shame! Most of the rooms do not have a bathroom. Do not drink too much water over there......you will have to go at the end of the corridor in the dark..... but you can easily identify that public restroom by smell.... They never refund our money! The manager Carlos Lopez is ignoring us for 4 months by now, he is picking up the phone and pretending he is not the manager. I wrote him about 30 emails to manager@hoteldelflores.com Good luck, Olga. BBB was trying to contact them ---- right!---- nice try! The Owner Ann Owen Sterman impossible to reach. They are fraud and criminals, running anti sanitary place and getting away with it. Nobody cares! Room Tip: ---- NEVER GO to this place
google avatar

Ruth M.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem in the Beverly Hills, CA area. Safe and nice neighborhood, quaint and vintage setting, and the price is amazing. Don't freak out if you hear about bed bugs as they crop up at fancy places too. I recommend traveling with bed bug spray, no matter where you stay. I chose to stay in a room without a private bath, but the price was worth it. Everything was clean. The bed was comfortable. In the sumner, the lack of air conditioning would be hard. But this is a lovely step back in time in a beautiful area. I plan to go back!
google avatar

Eirik N.

Yelp
This place should be paying you to stay there. We came and checked inn. After an hour we left. They charged us for 1 night. The room was horrible, we could basikly smell dead people in the walls. I spent 1 minut at the bed, and wow... must be from 1923. One of the towels had dirt on it. The manager told us our selfe, we only sell the location. Just stay away. Just stayvaway Juststayaway And the manager was a horrible person, you getvwhat you pay for, bla bla... no, you dont. You dont get anything from this place. I big shame for the whole beverly hills.
google avatar

Iris M.

Yelp
I stayed here because it was the only affordable hotel in Beverly Hills, but I didn't stay there for long because the cons definitely outweighed the pros... I'll start with the pros: -it's located in the heart of Beverly Hills and it's right next to everything. -cost. It's about $110 per night, but if you book it with your flight on Expedia, it can be as low as $73 per night, which is super cheap for a hotel in Beverly Hills. The cons: -it definitely needs to be renovated. The moment you step in, it has an odor, although it's not overwhelming. But I have a feeling it hasn't been renovated since like the 50s. -there's no AC----at all. When it's 90 degrees and there's no AC, it gets unbearably hot. The fan in my room sounded like someone was banging two glass cups together every 2 seconds and it barely helped with the heat. On my second night there, I thought I was going to die from a heat stroke. Not kidding. Apparently, a lot of people complained about the lack of AC, but "you get what you pay for", as one of the hotel workers said. -the bathrooms are shared, but that's not that bad. It's the showers that were not so good because I thought it was really cramped; it was the size of a very small closet. And make sure you shower when it's light outside because there is no light switch in the shower (your only source of light is from the window in the ceiling). Since I'm a night showerer, I had to shower in darkness. I had to crack the door open just a tiny bit, which was my only source of light. I can't tell you if the shower was clean or not because I obviously couldn't really see it. -wifi is only in the hotel lobby. Overall, I would recommend staying here if you are on a super budget. Try and stay here in the winter months because AC wouldn't be necessary then, and being too cold is better than being smothered to death by heat. If you just need a place to put your suitcases and stuff, then I'd recommend this place. If you're good at sleeping in extreme heat and want to save money and stay in an excellent area, then I'd recommend staying here.

Yelp
2 separate agency's that regulate such establishments [1 city,1 state] have this place on radar. The name of this hotel should be the Oxymoron. It is a flea bag motel, embedded in the middle one of the most pristine city's in the lower 48. After being in my room for several hours, the insect bites became unbearable. I chose homelessness, and left. I slept in the gas station bathroom next door. Prior to my exit,I took pictures for 1 of those agency's I mentioned above... I was informed that the 2nd agency[the state] was forwarded my pictures/video as they have this place in the cross hairs due to the increasing of complaints.

Ayla L.

Yelp
The windows were stuck open and there was no central air. The room and entire building had an old smell. Very disappointed with Expedia.
google avatar

Debbie J.

Yelp
This sh*thouse is the worst place I've ever stayed. Filthy and depressing from the moment you step into the lobby. We booked online and there were no other alternatives available, so we bravely stayed the night. Sleep was intermittent as there is no air conditioning, which means you have to have the window open, and you hear street noise, sirens, honking, and at 2AM we were laying there listening to some moaning girl getting shagged in an adjacent room. There were bedbugs and I've no doubt roaches had taken the opportunity to climb into our luggage to get away from this Motel Hell. Keep driving.

Ted C.

Yelp
I enjoyed the adventure. Reminds me of some of the old Victorian B&B out of New Orleans. Definitely old and dated. But my room was clean and the people were very nice. If you are looking for anything from the last half century, this is not your place. If you are looking for a very convenient location in Beverly Hills with prices less than one-fifth what is in the area, I recommend it. I did have WiFi in my room, #23, which is in the back on the second floor. I tested the download speed before downloading my Netflix movie for the flight home at it was at 64+ Mbps. That is better than most of the hotels I stay at - Marriott, Hilton, etc. Also, pay the extra $20 to stay in #23 or another room that has your own private bathroom. They furnished soap but not shampoo, but the drug store was a half block walk from there. With the right expectations, great place to stay. For shiny & newer, go somewhere else...

Yelp
FIRST OF ALL THERE WAS A CENTIPEDE IN THE BATHROOM! I was so horrified that I didn't get a chance to take a photo so when I told staff I was accused of lying. This was literally the worse hotel I have ever stayed in. I wish I booked a motel instead. The staff is significantly rude, disrespectful and prejudice. I don't even know where to began. The hotel looks nothing like the photographs provided. It is old rotting and dilapidated. At first I considered it character but then I got in my room. It smelled , and the furniture was an eye sore. The television only receives foreign channels. After turning in both my room keys I was accused of stealing the key for mischievous conduct, which is completely absurd. They spoke insanely rude to my company and charged me $14 per visiting guest without notifying me prior to my check in. DO NOT STAY HERE!
google avatar

Cindy R.

Yelp
Everything that customer Olga P was saying is true to the word. I don't even know her but had the same exact experience with bed bugs, after ordering from Hotels.com and not having helpful management-The TV did not work and we were falsely adverstised for a TV-they refused a discount. They don't even want to give out the owner's name! Plainly refused to! There is no remedy. Someone needs to burn this place to the ground pronto. You get what you pay for! BE WARNED! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Yelp
This hotel is a disgrace for Beverly Hills. Reception rude and condescending. Terrible customer service and rooms leave much to be desired. Door falling of the hinges. Termite rotted wood in the bathroom. No upgrades.

Yelp
I dont know what was worse about this hotel; the complete lack of care the owners have or the fact that the employees have pre canned responses to your utter disgust or dissapointment, or the fact that when you try to change your reservation, hotels.com wont help you, their office wont help you, and when you email management you get zero response. I am very upset about this reservation. I didn't notice it was shared bathroom. I have stayed in hostels in 3rd world countries cleaner, in better shape, and not set up to sham their clientele. ***if you stay for more then 1 night I suggest making each night its separate reservation so you have something to fall back on. Worst customer service ever! They honestly dont give a sh*t

Yelp
DO NOT STAY In this hotel, the worst experience I ever had. Bathtub was dirty... Dust everywhere and if you are allergic as me even worst, Windows frame very deteriorated and unsaved by the way because is beside your bed. The room has a horrible smell, definitely the worst of the worst. Once I saw the room I decided to call expedia to cancell the reservation, and the hotel manager said that he just work Monday to Friday, it was a Saturday so the hotel pretended to fix my issue on Monday ..... -_- Then I went to the lobby to talk with the manager, but he didn't even face me to hear my complains, he said by the phone with the front desk that the hotel will charge me the total price of the room because I went into the room,it doesn't matter if was just 20 minutes ( the time I was in line talking with Expedia). The receptionist doesn't have experience, he didn't know what to do. The service was really bad!!!! Is better to spend 20 or 40 dlls more, but get a real hotel.

Yelp
This don't even deserve a fucking star whatsoever. Horrible customer service. The fucking worst! Disgusting overly priced hotel. We were supposed to pay $216 at the hotel and they ended up charging us $300 for this stank ass place. Plus they will charge you for parking. This place has bed bugs and bugs everywhere. Not one person at the front desk have manners. Especially that old black man. Rude as fuck. He banged his head on the table because we couldn't understand what he was saying.

Yelp
During check-in, I wasn't given wifi password. Was not told that the room door locks upon shutting... since she did open the OLD room door with a traditional key, I assumed to lock it in the same way with older hotels - bad assumption on the check-in person's part. Upon getting ice and accidentally dropping one while having a headache and irritated eyesight at the moment, I decided not to risk injuring myself so not to pick it up as it was almost under the fridge. Well, the crazy fat Mexican RUDE WORKER decided to command me to "PICK UP THE ICE" as if she was my mother! Get the FOH!!! She had no idea what I was going thru at the moment, talking to me like I'm some rude Beverly Hills chick or some kid that needs to be taught manners. As of I didn't pay to stay here as a GUEST!!!! NO ICE MACHINE! Just a lame kitchen fridge. NO proper comforter, just a flimsy throw-like cloth that barely fits! Notable STAIN on top of "comforter". Pillowcase is TOO SMALL for pillows! YUCK!! Super THIN WALLS!! And the MAIDS just stand outside the door in hallway and chat it up! And other guests! BRING EAR PLUGS if you plan on sleeping thru the night! The ceiling fan makes an annoying sound while spinning. Sink takes FOREVER to DRAIN!! NO shower floor towel/mat while having slippery floors. 1 Lightbulb out over vanity/sink. Fan attached to light switch without pull cord so if you turn off light, you also turn off fan, resulting in having to plug in a portable standing fan... How clumsy and irritating.

Yelp
A park bench would be cleaner. I cannot stress enough: DO NOT STAY HERE-alas, they cannot afford cleaning products and a broom. My friend and I should have slept in her car. Do everything in your power to stay somewhere else.

Yelp
I stayed here in a particularly not beautiful period of my life , but thinking about it with a conscious mind , I must tell that this place is a place where lessons can be taken and nice acquaintance can be made to grow even more. it smells of life, energy, with its pictoresque, characteristic, real people, and it is in Beverly hills, you can walk easily to the wonderful public library where you can see tons of fantastic fellow and interact, and everywhere around is Beverly hills. We all are the same at this world, but to evolve we need to take the right lessons for us to become more, and eventually this is a right spot to move around and then get back feeling cozy, feeling the true essence of life, feeling the real source that is all of us, no differences of any kind we are all the same and love is the key :)))))))))))))))))))) finding beautiful thoughts everywhere.. We chose to be happy within ourselves and then everything else must follow :))))))))))))))))))))) I am thankful for having been in this spot of the world

Yelp
Beverly Hills: check Bathroom: not present Toilet: check, but in a separate janky room like a European youth hostel. Shower: check, but in another separate stall with no area to change in. Literally a janky door which opens to a 100 year old shower (no soap or shampoo provided) Room: bed, broken TV, a sink (right next to the bed) Hotel comes with a list of things that you have to pay for (up to their discretion if they're gonna charge you or not). EXAMPLE: remote damages (penalty $50 or something ridiculous like that). In our case, we didn't even have a remote. We swear the owners were gypsies or something. Also the gated parking mentioned in other reviews isn't even their parking gate. They charge you to exit the gate, but there's another gate that's basically free. They also jack up the price compared to the one on the sign (we figure they rent spots from Crescent Hotel and scam off of their own customers to make some money). Wifi is practically nonexistent-- there are like 2 bars you can get, but the service isn't actually usable. Some of the workers at the desk are illterate and cannot even speak English. Basically, not worth it (esp. if you're going just staying here for USC's Exposition Park ifyouknowwhatimsayin). Go stay at a Motel 6 because that, is 10x better than this place.

Yelp
Cute on the outside, cute as you walk in, and then the room itself was disappointing. As my fiance put it, we have been in motel 6 rooms that were better. . . Our bed screetched every second. Yes, screetched. We could hear the bed in the roomnext to us too. We could also hear when someone would come or go in their rooms because the doors were so old you had to slam them shut. Luckily our room came with it's own bathroom but the sink was next to the bed instead of in the bathroom. The tub looked like it hasnt been washed in ages. It could just be the tub was old. The thing that bothered us most was that there was a door connecting our bathroom to the next room. Luckily it didnt open (the lock was broken) but it was hard to sleep thinking someone could come into our room. Also, online it says they hold 15% on your card of what your total cost is to secure you wont destroy the room but they actually held 85% which took from our vacation spending for the next day. We gave 2 stars for the location and for the staff.

Yelp
When we arrived they informed us there was a $25 fee for spending the night. We called to check our reservation twice and were not quoted anything about this charge. The receptionist was incredibly rude. When we finally got to the room it was a shared bathroom with the room next door. This was never mentioned by any of the people who made our reservation. To make matters worse the door on our side of the bathroom wouldn't close because the door was broken. When we checked out in the morning the man behind the counter charged us $240 dollars. We asked him why in gods name the price had doubled and he said "Oh sorry" and then asked for my card so he could charge me more money. The charge for the hotel just posted to my bank account and it is more than I ever signed for on and credit card receipt. I hate this hotel and would advise that no one ever stays there.

Yelp
This hotel is a lie, this is a hostel. A place where you share a bathroom and a bath is a hostel. I know you get what you pay for but this was a real rip off. The hotel seemed ok still a bit nasty but for price well it is what it is. So the website said it has air conditioner, no it doesn't. The place is super dirty and paint job is horrible. Carpets are dirty and beds are falling apart. I came on a hot day I oldest even stay there so I had to be out all day and as soon as 6am hit the next day I left I could most sleep due to the heat. They charged me a 25$ fee for not staying more than 2 days but who would? This place is horrible, now the staff was nice but this is no place to stay. Please read the other reviews and I know it's cheap but ull regret it. Pay the Extra 40 dollars and get a better hotel down the street. I'm sorry but I disputed my stay here. I was lied to and threatened. Never again.

Yelp
Trying to check in to this hotel was the worst experience ever. They dont tell you you have a shared bathroom until you actually book. Then when we tried to upgrade to a private bathroom room, the lady could not figure it out. Got mad at us for not booking it the right way and after 1.5 hours got upset and told us to go else where. This is the worst experience ever. I would def not recommend wasting your time booking. She tried to put a 900 hold on our CC but could not even process that. RUN!

Yelp
Terrible experience. Do not spend your money here! The lobby is just fine but the room had old dirty. carpet, the bedspreads were old and looked dingy, no toiletries, no headboards, two random dressers, no curtains just hooks. A motel would be 10 times better. The owner of this hotel should really take more pride in providing a stay to their guests of value.
