Hotel del Golfo

The resort is well structured with many services, including tennis courts, pools and a private beach and beach side restaurant. Nice staff, very comfortable rooms. The breakfast could have been better in terms of quality, I would have preferred less diversity and more quality. A disappointing aspect is that not all the jacuzzi pools are working and most importantly pools are not supervised by the lifeguard during the time stated in the hotel guidelines.

The location is good, and the food was as well. The waitstaff were kind and professional, which we appreciated. However, the room was quite outdated, and we could clearly hear guests in the neighboring room — as if they were in ours. Also, the sea directly in front of the hotel wasn’t clean. The real issue, though, was the management. Our car was damaged while parked in the hotel’s lot — we’re talking about thousands of euros in damage — and the hotel director showed absolutely no concern. No apology, no support, not even a small gesture like a complimentary dinner or a discount for a future stay. It felt like a bad joke — but unfortunately, it wasn’t.

This is a very pleasant resort in a beautiful setting. Top marks go to the staff who are very friendly and more than helpful.|Breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes. Also a very picturesque beachside restaurant with good food. |The gardens and beach are pristine with more helpful staff around if you need them.|My only negative comment is that while the rooms are very clean, they are rather tired, with outdated bathrooms, hairdryers and door locking arrangements. |However on the plus side the air con is good.|Despite these small niggles I would most definitely return again.

We’ve been coming to Hotel del Golfo for many years now. The service is absolutely exceptional, all the staff are fantastic and make it a very pleasant experience. The pool and beach are fantastic and the rooms feel great after a hot day on the water. It’s a short walk into town where there’s a great gelato spot and their breakfast, lunch and dinner is always delicious. It’s always great to be back at del Golfo.

Service makes this hotel outstanding —in addition to its charming setting in beautifully tended grounds alive with birdsong, beside a pristine sandy beach, delicious meals, large, super seawater pool. When I forgot my passport in the safe, the reception staff got it sent to me within five days.

Hotel del golfo is a good four starts hotel. The pools are nice and the main one is sea water. The beach is beautiful ( every time you change beach towels you need to pay €1) The restaurant is very good with plenty of desserts. We paid for half board ( breakfast and dinner) and I definitely recommend that. This was my first time in Italy and I did not know but no irons in the hotels that I have visited. The hair dryer was weird and it did not work for me. I lake the gardens. Cleaning and personnel were good. I recommend the hotel and we definitely would return.

My absolute dream summer vacation place. Been going there for years and everything is just perfection: location, food, sandy beach, green hills all around, not too crowded, plus can bring my dog. It doesn't get better than this in my opinion.

This hotel was incredible. The location was perfect and the beach was sandy with clear water. The dinner was a 5 course meal every evening with an incredible dessert bar. We stayed in July with perfect weather and the family suite, which had everything our family of 4 needed. I can’t wait to go back.
